The pizza is amazing here! Whats even better is their service! Its definitely a must try. Picture is of two types of vegan pizzas. We ordered the veg out pizza and replaced the cheese with basil, so no cheese on the pizza. We also wanted to try the mushroom trio so we replaced the regular mushrooms with that. Well the waitress caught that they cook the mushroom trio with onions and came back to tell us that. She also gave a suggestion to just cook the mushrooms in oil and water so it would taste similar and of course we said yes! Later on, I started getting hungry and wondered were our pizza was, well another guy came by our table and apologized because they accidentally added vegan cheese on my pizza. He asked if we wanted it for free as we wait for our other pizza to be be recooked, and of course we said yes! So we go two large pizzas for the price of one. The guy told me that they pride themselves on trying to have the best service and communication possible. I very much appreciated it. Both pizzas were amazing, "the bomb-dot-com!" This place is a must try!

Pizzas are great here but clearly you might end up ordering the worlds most expensive pizza !! I ordered two custom veggie pizzas one small and one medium size and I ended up paying them 70 bucks! So dont try to be creative here ... When you order custom pizza they charge you 2.5 bucks for each toppings. Like 5 leaves of spinach are going to be $2.5, 6 olives over your small pizza are going to be $2.5 and yes your specifically requested only two tomato slices are $2.5 as well. Your server is not even going to tell you until you get your surprising bill of $70 for a small and a medium size pizza :-) and when you speak to the manager ... He comes with the most creative excuse "sir, we are like subways" ... I somehow managed to survive the hilarious experience :-) Clearly the most ridiculous servers they have got ... I would recommend pizza hut or even dominos over them :-) Just a tip ...

Not the great food I remembered from visiting the chain back in Atlanta where it originated. The dough is not traditional, and slightly mushy. There are too many flavors going on with their signature pizzas. There was some type of cream sauce drizzled on top which did not seem like it should be on a pizza. The taste seems corporate. Not horrible, but not distinct. The pretzel bite appetizer is an interesting item, but was also mediocre in taste, and the sauce was just overwhelming with oil, salt, and slightly metallic aftertaste. The dining room was unkempt the day I visited, with many tables not bused and crumbs on the floor. The server was nice, but a little pushy on the drinks. The pies came out just warm, not piping hot as expected. The toppings congealed together into a stew like formation, rather than remaining distinct items.

Got a small pizza and an order of 10 wings which werent too bad. The wings were sauced acceptably but I guess double-baking them causes them to shrink. The ranch dipping they gave was almost too much to the point where you noticed how insufficient in size the wings were. The Cheese Pizza I got was also alright but not worth the amount they were charging. 13$ for a small? 26$ for a large? No thanks. I rather go to another pizza joint and spend just the same amount for 2 pizzas, a side and a 2-liter AND have it delivered to me in the comfort of my home. So if youre planning to get a hot, fresh pizza here the way your uncle Luigi used to make, kiss your money goodbye. I have to admit though, they had some good rock music playing and some cool pizza twirling going on but not enough to make me feel my buck was worth the while.

We had an impromptu birthday party for my granddaughter and the staff (particularly our server Katie) was beyond helpful and accommodating! The food is delicious from the apps to the pizzas and served very quickly. This wasnt our first choice since we had never eaten here before but the restaurant we planned on going to told us they didnt have room for our party which happened to be 10 people. Then we were told they would give us two tables but it would be a 2 hour wait...this was at 11 am on a Saturday. Thanks to California Pizza Kitchen for allowing us to leave and have a better option with Mellow Mushroom!! Not only will we be planning our next family event with them but it is now our go to place for delicious food!!

So the first time we went, we ended up waiting for our order for over an hour. The waitress was lovely, but they lost our ticket. Not fun with 3 toddlers. They comped our meal, and the food was good, so we chalked it up to an off night. Which brings us to tonight. We had another hour long wait, lots of forgetfulness with our order, drink poured incorrectly (75% head), and a chef quit mid shift, we know this because they told us that our order may take longer due to staff unrest. In order to get our kids to bed, we had to pack our food to go

The food is great but the customer service was so awful I am never coming back to this location again.to top it all off I came in on "happy hour" only to find out none of the employees were aware of their own prices and had to hassle with them which only made the experience that much MORE unpleasant, I will now be going out of my way to a different location because I have never been treated so awful at any restaurant (including fast food) in my life, such a disappointment that one of my favorite restaurants has now been crossed off my list :(

I have been to Mellow Mushroom before in Arkansas and was more impressed with this Frisco location, comparitvely speaking. I give the pizza five stars - unquie specialty pizzas, fresh ingrediants and flavorful crusts. The prices would be 3.5 stars - a tad high at $30 for a large pizza. And I would give the service three stars - average at best. Of course, that rating is variable from visit to visit depending on who you are assigned. We will be back, though more likely than not for a to go order.

Awesome service by Cody! We def will be back. Best service Ive ever had in Frisco. The cooks made the wrong pizza and Cody brought us out the correct one in a timely manner. We didnt even know it was late until he brought the one they accidentally made in a box for us to take home. Besides a free pizza, service was great!!! Our 3 year old was hyper and having fun and Cody made us feel welcomed! This was great! Im excited because we live right down the street! Thank you!!!

My girls love the pizza. I enjoyed mine. The service was pretty uneventful. Im not looking for a show, but at least look like you kinda of want to be there. My drink was empty a few times. I had to remind him what the girls wanted as a size. Instead of kids cups full size oversized cups were brought to the table. Food i would give 5 stars, service needs work.
