Short version: Great service, pie was excellent quality with fresh ingredients. WILL return! Longer version: My wife and I went on a date on a Friday night and decided to try this place out. We had both never heard of it and wanted to see what it was all about! They were a little busy that evening and had a steady stream of customers flowing, so wait time was about 5-10 minutes. The employee making our pies was helpful, fair in her portion sizes, and efficient in creating our meal. Another working the register was equally helpful and accommodating when we asked for dipping sauce. The main thing that needs to be highly commended is the cheerfulness and polite responses of the employees in the face of impatient, rude, and repugnant attitudes from several customers in the line with us. Amazingly enough, there were several customers who were in a sour mood (a few were passive aggressive, but some were openly surly) and decided to bestow some of their petulance on the pizza-making employees just doing their jobs correctly. I was disappointed in the ornery people around me (cause pizza is awesome and the employees dont deserve to bare the brunt of someone elses bad day) but I was impressed with the poise and manner in which the employees handled the situation. Major Kudos to the ladies working that night! The pizza was of excellent quality! The dough was new and slightly elastic, but rich and satisfying. Both types of pizza my wife and I ordered were flavorful, hot, and all-around wonderful. Great experience, great atmosphere, and quick service. The only "complaint" I could have is that there were a few tables that were unclean do to the slob-like nature of most "its all about me" consumers nowadays, but those would have most likely been clean if it wasnt so busy. Usually places get a bad rap on Google reviews because 90-95% of people who go and have a good/decent/excellent service dont say anything here. Most of the time the Google reviews only state the horrible side because egregious people want to vent their fury to the world because their experience was less than kosher. However, I have decided to start writing reviews to help those who want to make an informed decision based on the average user on an average day. Hopefully you find this review helpful from the "Average Joe." Maybe Ill begin to help even out the lop-sided reviews on "common" places and well see more 4 - 5 star averages than 1 or 2.

Two days ago I ordered my two pizzas online over 30 minutes early, but when I arrived right after my ready time, I was informed by the only worker in sight that he "got a little busy", even though there were no customers in the store besides myself, and no ringing phones. He even went so far as to ask me a question about how I wanted my pizza made, though I feel that this could have very easily been confirmed ahead of time via phone or email since I have an account I ordered through. The restaurant itself seemed clean and the employee I spoke to wasnt rude, but the promise of having a pizza ready within 5 minutes seems too much for this location to handle, as I ended up waiting 8 minutes at the store for them to be made and to finish cooking. However, as for the pizza itself, I am happy there is a pizza franchise able to easily create pizzas for vegans, and both my friend and I enjoyed the actual flavor and unique ordering experience. I love that there is a flat price per pizza, no matter how many toppings you choose. I would try Pie Five again, just not at this particular location.

I work in the same shopping center and it being my first time and all good reviews thought I would check it out. I walked in about 3:30 PM and the ingredients were not the first thing I saw, it was the three employees talking among themselves only to look at me not asked they could help me but carried on their conversation for few minutes until one of them approached me. Then coming down to pay I was standing there while they just carried on their conversation about other employees personal lives. I find this very disturbing as a customer. I will never return.

This is a GREAT place for pizza, especially if you love your toppings piled on! And the happy hour special (just $5, 2-5pm weekdays) is especially wonderful. I wish we could talk Royal Caribbean Cruise Line into replacing their Sorrentos pizzeria on their big new Harmony-class ship with a Pie Five...! And they not only have GREAT pizzas here, but have Coca-Cola Freestyle machine too. Even little details like their sliced lemon wedges are bigger and nicer (and, curiously, fewer seeds!) than many other restaurants offer. We LOVE this place!

Employees seemed distracted and apathetic towards customer orders. People in front of me had their pizzas sitting in a box on the counter for 5-10 mins while employees scrambled to remember where they were put. Asked for breadsticks with my order and when I got to pay I had to wait another 5-10 minutes because the breadsticks were never started. Will not be returning to this location.

My husband and I had a lunch date here. He had heard about this place from a work friend.. Im not a big fan of pizza but I ordered spinach Alfredo and chicken pizza. It was yummy! The price is very reasonable considering you can pick out whatever you want to on your pizza. The girl who checked us out was super friendly!!! The place is very clean!

Awesome place!! It was my first time eating at a Pie Five this past weekend and I LOVED IT! You can create your pizza just how you want it. Its a prefect size, not too large or too small, and the breadsticks are amazing! Great staff, amazing pizza and even better prices! Ill most certainly be looking forward to going back again soon :)

Pizza joint meets fast food. Overall the pizza was good and affordable. The place felt like most fast food joints today with lots of seating and a line to walk through to order your pizza. As long as you dont go in thinking gourmet pizza oven style pie then you wont be disappointed.

Awesome place for lunch. This location doesnt get incredibly packed like some of the other locations. Lines go quickly, the pizza is delicious, huge drink selection, and relatively low-volume level when sitting down and eating.

Great place to drop in for lunch. Walking distance from the high rise offices at Arapahoe, Beltline, and DNT. Easy to get in and out of and the food is made fresh right in front of you.

Needs improvement. Innefecient use of people makes it super slow. It took about 10 mins to make a pizza that could have taken 5. Ingredients are good and staff is friendly.

Great food and service. My pizza slid off my pan, right onto the floor, last time I ate here. The staff immediately made me another at no charge. Great pizza as well.

Good build your own personal pizza on the quick! Lots of topping choices. The pizza and a small side salad makes for a good [lighter] meal.
