Terrible to-go service 2 Sundays in less than a month. Never sat in at this location. However, food is good. 1st Sunday - I placed our order at 10:55, from the receipt its obvious it wasnt input until 11:10. I was told itll be ready in 20 mins, showed up at 11:25; I waited until 11:45 because they were scrambling to prepare it. Also, the customer service surrounding this entire situation was just slow and rude. The hosts were completely unaware and failed at keeping me updated. Miscommunication at its finest. 2nd Sunday - He placed our order at 11:30 and was told we can pick it up in 15 mins. Arrived at 12 and turns out they gave our order away. How is that even possible? Did you ask for the name on the order and confirm it before the person paid? We had the exact same order? Time to revamp your to-go service. Its too busy for the small waiting area to host dine ins and fulfill pick up orders.

Very bad service and cleanliness from some waiters. The menus are sticky and disgusting. So we told a waiter, "this menu is sticky, it would likely benefit from being cleaned". He said OK, turned around, and placed it back with the rest of menus another customer would soon get. The food: Pancakes? Mhew. Homemade pancakes are so much better I dont think its worth it. The Dutch Baby was good (not great) but good. Overall the experience was mediocre. I dont think Ill ever return here.

Fantastic service, breakfast food and dining experience! My family looks forward to coming here every Saturday morning for brunch and Im SO glad weve found a place that everyone loves - great kids menu (kids are crazy about the chocolate chip pancakes and the balloon creations!!!), omelets, dutch baby, eggs Benedict - Ive tried it all and so far everything has been great! Great management and wait staff - theyre all friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Out 1st time here we were a party of 5 there was a wait time of 25 minutes line out the door. Once seated more wait time to get our food. But once food arrived everything was so delicious freshly made nice and hot. Plus it was so much food left over. From the omelet literally 2 can eat from it, its huge. But I seriously think food is a lil overpriced. Overall staff is very caring and polite great customer service they check up on you constantly.

Had a nice brunch here this morning. I had the cherry crepe which was wonderful and my husband had the Dutch baby which was tasty as well. Servers were extremely friendly and attentive. There are a lot of items on their menu that cant be found elsewhere so it was very nice to try some of their specialties. Everything was definitely fresh and made in house, not your average breakfast or pancake place. Far from it! We will definitely be back!

I love there chocolate chip pancakes. Every time I go there I barly look at the menu and just order the to die for pancakes. Now I really dont like pancakes but this amazing, wonderful, and outstanding restraint has made me love them. There employes are very sweet and nice I wouldnt be surprised if The Origonal Pancake House went big. Over all you should stop by The Origonal Pancake House if you are in Dallas thank you for reading

0700 on a SUNDAY, and the loyal Patrons were lined up 15 minute,s before the doors opened despite The La Madeline located right next door. Mario our waiter and the lovely young hostess both gave a very warm welcome, not quite up to Waffle House standards, but the atmosphere here is very nice. Mario is attentive and kept the table very tidy. I like that. Breakfast is warm and tasty. Give it a try if your flight is cancelled.

I have been here two times. Great service and high quality food. Try the Mount Cristo! Its delicious and a unique take on a Monte Cristo. They use crepe batter instead of bread for the sandwich and they serve it with a side of blackberry jam. I cannot say a enough good things about this meal. I have also had the gluten-free, ancient grain pancakes. These are delicious, too.

I have eaten at the other locations always a good experience. This location on Midway/NE HWY fair service asked for crispy hasbrowns they returned them burnt asked for one slice of toast extra they brought two and charged $4.99! Asked manager about it he said its a side item I needed to pay for it. Do not recommend this location.

Great pancakes! Sometimes the service is a little bit slow. Great for families. They have high chairs and then can go off the menu to cook for kids. We always order one scrambled egg for our baby and they are OK with that. Friendly staff and some of the servers go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your breakfast!

Food was horrible. Pancakes were thin, dry, and the sausage was dry. I have eaten at the one in Anaheim California and the food there was awesome. I do not know for sure if these chains are affiliated but the food at this location was no good. There was a long wait and seemed dirty. Would never eat here again

We (our family) love The Original Pancake House in general (we used to go regularly to the one in Dayton OH--highly recommend thay location!!), and this location did not disappoint! Everything (food and service) was excellent and up to the standards we have come to expect from any Original Pancake House.

I loved the food and the atmosphere! The waiter was so nice and so willing to help my family get what we wanted. The food was amazing, a little on the pricy side, but tasted and looked beautiful! I loved the atmosphere and I left feeling good. Not to noisy and a great place to take a family!

It was my first time going to this place. I was not expecting poor presentation, on the food there no favor in the food. They sat me there the restroom. I saw manager clean a plate with her pants. I was really looking forward to eat and enjoy my breakfast it was a really disappointed.

We sat outside where it was quieter on a busy Saturday morning. The food was fresh and excellent. I had a fluffy, veggie omlette with buckwheat pancakes and my husband had strawberry pancakes. Our server was rushed on the busy morning, but was still pleasant and took care of us.

Service could really improve. I lost my phone here and when I asked a day later they didnt even look and said nothing was turned in, but after 3 weeks I talked to the very nice manager and he said there were multiple phones in there. The pancakes are great and it is comfy.

Yes, youre going to wait for a table unless you make a reservation ahead of time. Thankfully, youll only wait about 20-30 minutes for a table. Service is slow, the restaurant is loud and crowded, but the food is wonderful and you hardly ever leave disappointed.

First time there. Carlos the manager was very funny and nice. But our waitress Minnie was exceptional! She was very attentive and order was given in a timely manner and was very delicious! I had the Hacienda benedict. I would recommend this place to anyone. :)
