This meal was my first crawfish of the season and, since they were only three minutes siren the road, I was excited. I called in and ordered 2lbs to go. The young lady on the phone was very pleasant and transferred me to two (two, tu, or too, not sure of the spelling) he was also pleasant. Frozen were 7.99 and fresh were 9.99 lb. I ordered 2lbs of fresh crawfish. To my surprise, the order came with free sausage and corn. It was ready in 15 minutes and the staff could not be more pleasant. Great conversation. Two kept a smile on my face while packing up my order. I could not ask for a better host. Got home and dug in. The corn was insane! Sweet, spicy, and plump. The sausage was just as good. I could not believe I got 2 nice sized pieces of corn as well as two medium length sausages for free. They were delicious. I still have a piece of both in the fridge. I also enjoyed the craw fish. I got the mix it all with medium spice. The seasoning was not too spicy and let the flavor of the crawfish shine through. My only tiny complaint was the size. Some were very small and got soggy in the liquid. However, this is the very start of the season and some smaller crawfish should be expected. Its a minor issue in my book. The majority of the crawfish, the corn, and sausage more than made up for this. All in all, I cant wait to go back for more crawfish. I also want to try the catfish and shrimp that two suggested. I could get very comfortable and fat here.

Stopped by this place for dinner on their grand opening night... I have to say, I havent had many good boils in Dallas since I moved down here, but this one definitely is a great place that knows how to do a crawfish boil! Crawfish, crab legs, shrimp, and blue crabs just to name a few of their boils. The seasoning in the boil was spot on and the extra flavors they offer with different levels of heat is top notch! Living in Oak Cliff makes the trip a bit of a hike but I will be making a lot of trips up here! Totally worth the drive. Thirsty?? They have a full bar set up with great specials and 20 beers on tap!! Local beers, craft beers, and the typical domestic beers all on draft. Dont like beer?? They have a wide range of liquor you can choose from or if you dont know they have signature Pinch the Tail drinks! The atmosphere was great and everyone was super friendly. For a grand opening on a Tuesday it was surprising packed and the entire staff did a great job! Will probably be back before the week is over Im craving some of the crawfish with all the sauces mixed!! I might even try "tha BOMB" spice level this time....

The owner 2, welcomed my fiancé and daughter and I with a huge smile and immediately gave us a run down of the menu and recommended items to try. We ordered the fried mac n cheese and corn fritters - both were absolutely amazing! My daughter had the kids fish and fry plate and loved it, while my fiancé and I split a pound of the garlic butter mild crawfish, alligator basket with shrimp and cajun fries. I cant rave enough about how phenomenal the crawfish was!!!!! 2 even came by the table and showed us how to eat crawfish because it was our first time (but wont be the last). The butter cajun sauce was the perfect combo with the crawfish, gator, and shrimp. The cajun fries were seasoned to perfection! I had a sample of the peach margarita which was to die for, but because its a school night I had to pass on ordering one or three. The service was excellent, the food and flavor was way above our expectations! I would highly recommend to everyone, and well be coming back very soon. Thanks 2!

Bad service, I dont know if the reviews before mine are from people that work there or I just went on a bad day. Ordered the shrimp posted boy, my niece the shrimp cocktail. She complained the sauce was too thick so i suggested she pour a little of her water into it to thin it out which she said made it aomewhat better. My fries tate like it was fried in fish grease. I saw my waiter once after receiving our food, wanted to ask for ketsup to mask the taste so I can enjoy the sandwich. He darted the other direction. I waited for a awhile before I got someone else attention but by this time fries cold and my first meal experience was not impressionable. I asked for a discount on the fries since I didnt want cold fried fish fries. I received .90 cents. Wow. .90 cents. For bad Service, alright food, we should have been accommodated for much more. I would never go back there.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Went to eat here with my husband and parents on a Sunday night. It was not busy, but our food was brought out one plate at a time (my parents ordered the exact same thing and their plates came out over 5 minutes apart). And dont get me started on the alligator appetizer. For $10.95 they brought out a basket of fries with 11 heavily breaded pieces of aligator no bigger than the size of a quarter. I immediately returned it. The manager did comp it but never came over to our table. Their website says they offer quality seafood at fair prices. I disagree. Everything is overpriced for the quality and taste. $8.95 for fried cheese sticks. They charge $5.95 for a side order of fries ($6.95 for sweet potato fries), and they are no different than something you would find at a fast food place.

I have eaten here a couple times now and decided I should write a review this time. The first time was a quick lunch where I ordered the fried shrimp and an appetizer of corn fritters. Both were OK but a little bland. Today I decided to pick up a pound of shrimp and a pound of crawfish. The flavoring on the crawfish was awesome but they were on the small side and it didnt seem like they were cooked correctly. They were very gritty and hard to peel. The shrimp though may have been the worst seafood Ive ever had. I cant even put into words how mushy they were. Think of biting into an avocado, that was the consistency. It was incredibly gross. If I go back to this place it will only be for fried food.

Only reason Im giving 1 star is because my server was really nice and he had no control over the issue. I wanted to order what was on the menu and couldnt for a few items so I decided to get a po-boy but wasnt allowed to get half oyster and half shrimp ( which is quite common to do with po-boys), it had to be one or the other, so I settled for a oyster po-boy and then was told that it only came with coleslaw on the bread (ummm, who does that) and if I wanted lettuce and tomato it would be an extra charge. Ummmm, yah I left and I wont be back! I did tip my server for the 5 sips I took of my iced tea because I felt bad for him.

Great service from start to finish, as soon as my husband and I walked in we felt like we were walking into a place in Louisiana. The atmosphere was great and Gary our waiter was even better, he explained all the dishes to us, gave us sample drinks and just made it a great afternoon for us. We had the seafood jambalaya and alligator bites, they were excellent in taste and in portions. The price for the food was great for the presentation and flavor. We will definitely be back to enjoy such a relaxed environment and great food. Ask for Gary he is great!!!
