Used to kind of enjoy it until I went there one night to get a burger and possibly a drink because the patio is "dog friendly." After being there for 30 minutes without a waiter coming outside I didnt know what to do to get service as I had my dog with me and the outside bar windows were closed. A guy had opened the door and I peeped in to see if I could quickly get a waiters attention. Some drunk old hag started screaming at the guy to "shut the effin door" and finally her fat old husband or whatever joined in the screaming. By this time it was just me with my head only hanging in the door b/c the bartender was acting like he didnt see me (he was NOT busy.) Yes, it was cold, I will give them that, but with their extra body fat they were not going to freeze to death in the short 3 minutes I was there. After being cussed at by the both of them I finally cussed back and the old redneck stood up and said "thats enough" and literally GRABBED both of my arms and SHOVED me (a petite 53" woman) out of the door. I fell backwards. Is this the Brick Houses fault? NO. But then, some guy (I assume hes a wanna be bouncer comes over and tells ME to shut the door!!!! He witnessed some guy assault me and *I* am to blame??? I left, and was told to call the police. Well, the Brick House covered for their "patron" and told the police that he had left. No, he had not because I was there watching the door the entire time!!! The police could do nothing, and the Brick House told the police that my story was a lie. So it is obvious that he is a regular (and he looks like he can put down some food and alcohol) and they didnt want to lose business. I know my little bad recommendation wont do much, but I am disgusted at whoever in there lied and whoever in there feels that it is ok for a huge man to assault a woman. That man made a fool of me and NO ONE did a thing except tell me to shut the door and blame me. I will NEVER go back and I have a good friend who frequents the place b/c he works close. He will never go back either. I am very disappointed that people think this is ok.

Food - POOR Décor - POOR unless youre just there to drink at the bar Service - POOR only because HORRIBLE was not an option AVOID! Based on the other reviews, this place seemed to be hit or miss. I decided to give this place a chance anyway. We were seated quickly and the wait person took our drink order. Drinks came out fast, but she failed to provide us with any napkins to keep our beverages from dripping on the table and ourselves. Food choices are many, but way over priced. The wife and I decided to split the crabcake sandwich. It wasnt that good. My wife thought it tasted fishy and only had a few bites of a $12.50 sandwich. The order came without the remoulade sauce. We asked the wait person to bring the remoulade sauce and it took well over 5 minutes for her to return with it (enough time for our food to get cold and for us to nearly finish the fries). She gave us an unsolicited excuse that she had to wait tables and host all at the same time. The background noise in the restaurant made it nearly impossible for my wife and I to hold a conversation without having to talk really loud. At one point, we were trying to track her down to get the bill. One of the waiters was hitting on the girl at the table next to us right in front of his date. We will not be back.

DONT EVER GO THERE!!! I went there after a round of golf with a friend just for a drinks, and the waitress couldnt be bother to serve us, instead sh threw herself at a table of men next to us. while our drinks sat and lingered on the bar. Horriable waitress, When the tab came, or actually was thrown at us, I paid with my check card while my friend paid the tip with cash, imagine my surprise when I find out that the lovely waitress added her own tip, an extra $ 6 bucks, after we left, and I added no TIP TO THE CHARGE CARD (SHE GOT A $ 6 CASH TIP) when i did my online banking and the checkcard charge changed!! The crappy waitress got a $ 12 TIP!! Which is fraud and theft!! I took a week to get the charge resversed, which isnt the point, the point is HOW DARE SOMEONE DO THAT, WITHOUT YOUR AUTHORITY!! I will never go back there, I hope the waitress gets fired (which I never hope in todays world, but this girl, needs to get fired) And the managers need to learn how to manage, because they did not handle this correctly, they could not give me answers on what happened, or how this happened, or a truly "I am sorry" SO DON"T GO HERE..go to TGIF, or even Dennys, but not this sucky place.

This place is totally hit or miss. We came on Mothers Day at noon and the place was virtually empty.... Even with a brunch menu. The ultimate Bloody Mary was not any better than a regular Bloody Mary, but comes with salami, cheddar, an Olive and a deviled egg. Almost an appetizer by itself. The Kobe pizza was good, but not cravable. The meat on both the Kobe and Gunshow burger was completely tasteless....which is a crime to do to Waygu beef. Plus, apparently that burger is going to come well done no matter if its ordered Medium. Service was very friendly, if somewhat slow. The cask beer was pretty good, if a bit on the weak side. Loved the decor and surroundings. Just wish the food matched the expectations the atmosphere led us to expect. All in all, its a great place for a drink or happy hour, but I wouldnt go out of my way on a regular basis.

Mediocre. Atmosphere was cool but the food didnt match. Youd have to go to understand how you walk in, get the "weve arrived!" feeling.. only to be given cheap napkins and seated in couches too low to comfortably eat. Overall, I liked it. Good place to chillax (especially with friends/double date) and snack on the various appetizers. Drinks, and the personable service were also pluses on my list. Again, if the food was better, and manager on duty tonight was more attentive, I would have given 4 1/2 stars, if possible, but a 5 as my only oprion. **Didnt like salmon, so swapped out with meatloaf that wasnt good either.. waitress talked to mgr about free dessert and it was given, however, the manager never came to do what managers do and at least acknowledge the issue**

Fire the Manager for hiring such a worthless staff! When we arrived there were hardly any customers in there so we were seated quickly. Then it took the server 15 minutes to get to us and when she did half way through us ordering she started to walk away and we had to stop her to order an appetizer! we ordered drinks and an appetizer and the drinks took another 15 minutes to get even though the bar was right behind us! totally pathetic place to eat. Will never go there again nor will it be recommended to anyone I know....as a matter of fact I will tell everyone to not go there! Whomever does the hiring needs to hold the bar way higher than where its at now because all this shows is that he/she is totally incoherent and likes to hire slugs.
