Delicious food, reasonable prices, and good service! Delicious is all I can say. On the way back from a long road trip to Arizona, we wanted to eat some Turkish food. We have searched online for Turkish Restaurants in Dallas and came across to Istanbul Palace. We have read all positive reviews and decided to stop here to try some delicious food. The owner of the restaurant was a kind gentleman who greeted us in the entrance of the restaurant and helped us get seated. After ordering our food, it did not take even 5 minutes for us to get served the fluffy Lavas bread with delicious feta cheese, butter and ezme for free of charge. We were so hungry and this free treat gave us a little bit of patience to wait for our appetizer and main dishes to be served. We have ordered Lahmacun as an appetizer, it came with marinated onion+parsley salad inside and it was so delicious. I have ordered Beyti and my husband ordered Iskender (Alexandre) as a main dish and both were so good. As a person who tasted the same dishes at different Turkish Restaurants in the United States and in different cities of Turkey, I do not hesitate to say that Istanbul Palace serves the best Turkish Food we have ever tasted here in the United States! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste the best Turkish food!

Overcooked Awful! I read all of the reviews and was really excited to take my father-in-law to dinner. We lived in Instanbul for several months and while I was not thrilled with the city, I LOVED the food. The free bread with olives and spicy salsa (tomato, onion, & pomegranate molasses) were pure heaven. The feta drenched in oil was there. I should have been worried when they did not have Burek on the menu. But I knew the Adana Kebab was something he would eat. Of course, they were out. We ordered him the lamb chops, they came (without asking how we wanted them prepared) char-coaled. He likes his meat nearly burnt, so not a real issue. My husband ordered the Alexander Kebab and OMG what a Hot, Nasty, Mess. I ordered the rubbery, burnt Shish Kebabs. Im certain, someone would be publicly beheaded to do that to beef in Turkey.

Babaganoushe was Awesome. Had a nice smokey flavor. Mixed grill platter was great for trying out different meats. The chicken kabob meat was sooo good. The others were pretty good too. But the chicken was moist and flavorful. Tried some other dishes too that were good but cant remember the names. Update: my only complaint is that the hours of operation are not always consistent. Tried to go at 5.30pm on Monday and the place was closed even though its posted hours said it should be open.

Wanted to try a new place and came across this location. I was skeptical at first but the service was great and the food was amazing. Everything from the Hummus appetizer and we tried the Adana, the Shrimp Kabob, and some type of Salmon dish. They were all great and we had to share our food it was that good. Definetely coming back! Oh yeah and they had a belly dancer who was really good and interacted with us all.

Best Turkish restaurant in Dallas. A bit unassuming on the outside and inside. But if you want great food at a fair price, this is the only Turkish place to go in Dallas. The 2 owners are great hosts and a great cook. So dont be discouraged by the decor, they are young and starting up. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Been to Turkey twice so I do have some form of comparison

The people rating this place 5 stars are out of their minds. We had two shepherds salads, a gyro plate and the lentl soup. Shepherds salads were not bad, but not quality. Gyro plate meat looked prepackaged and was pretty thin, but didnt taste bad. Lentl soup was grainy and too thick for wife to finish. The puff bread at the beginning was probably the best part of the meal.

I went to this place based on the great reviews here on Google, but sadly walked away with all the symptoms of salmonella poisoning a few hours after. The food was tasty enough, but given that Ive never gotten sick eating anywhere else before, Im going to have to give this one a pass in the future, as Ive been practically bedridden the past four days with the aftermath.

Summed up in four words: THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS. My chicken kabob was excellently spiced, and I had enough leftovers for another meal. Pretty quiet atmosphere, so Ill be back here when I want to have a relaxed conversation with friends. They are also the only Mediterranean restaurant I know that sells beer, wine, etc. in this area.

Amazing Turkish food! Everything is made from scratch and cooked to order. I have not been anything but satisfied with their food. My favorite dish here is the Adana Beyti. I have tried it at other Turkish restaurants, but they do not compare to Istanbul Palaces. Great job guys!

Dont judge the place by the unassuming appearance of the building. The food is great! Had the Mediterranean pizza and it was the best thin crust pizza I have had from anywhere in Dallas. Everything was fresh and very tasty.

Place looks like a hole in the wall, but food was delicious. Everything we ordered tasted fresh from the dip platter, the bread they bring out is remarkable, and the kebabs were all succulent. Looking forward to coming back.

I havent had something this authentic in so long. Everything was either very good or excellent. Try their chicken skewers and the $2 bread side. It is well worth the money.

Istanbul Palace is a fantastic place -- I loved that they have a variety of options for vegetarians -- the flat breads, the soups, the cold and hot starters.
