I highly reccomend you visit the Pappadeauxs in Fort Worth vs this location. This location is close to our house, so we have visited it twice with subpar results. The waiters are very poorly trained. The most recent time 5/23 it took a very long time for us to be greeted. The waiter failed to keep our drinks full. He made several mistakes with out food order. The ordering and the food took forever to come out. He then took about 25 minutes after we were all done and told him we did not need anything else to bring us our check. The waiter also failed to take a single plate off the table during the entire meal so to even fill out the check we had to stack some plates ourselves to have room. I dont like sitting with dirty plates all around us for an hour. We would have ordered dessert but at that point we just wanted to leave. We had some out of town guests with us and I was quite upset. The waiter never noticed. I will say the food was excellent as always. Long story short, avoid this location and head to Fort Worth just west of Downtown. MUCH better service, and I like the ambiance better as well.

Service: Our waiter was great. He was able to give suggestions on what to try. He also knew his way around the menu since it was my first time eating there. He made us laugh and was very prompt on making sure we had what we needed. One small thing was my table was going through the bread. At first he forgot the bread and then something happened in the kitchen where they burned it. Food: The plates, dear lord the plates were huge. At first I was worried a little by the prices but man are they worth it. Their bisque and gumbo were warm I wouldnt say hot but also not cold. The crab was pretty good although our server brought out the butter way before we had any food so we just stared at it. The only thing was how long it took for the food plus the day we went on Sunday they were running out of things like the crab sticks. We didnt wait too Long to be seated maybe 20-30 minutes. I would recommend this place for a good date night or with some friends.

The restaurant apperance was lovely both inside and out. I was suprised to find that the wait time was only 5 minutes as the place was packed. Our waiters name was Eric. He alway kept our drinks full and was very respectful and knowledgeable about the menu. He always checked back with us and made sure we were set. We ordered the Oysters Baton Rouge for an appetizer. They were delicious but I was dissapointed that there was only 6. The loster bisque was delicious, perfect amount of flavor and it didnt taste overtly buttery like many others do. The jumbo shrimp broulette was very very good and was served over dirty rice. However the crawfish etouffee was extremly bland and tasted burnt and flavorless. I will not be ordering that again. We finished off the meal with the breadpudding with bourbon sauce and icecream topping which was very good. Overall we had a very positive experience and will be visiting again.

The food was excellent as everytime I went to Pappadeaux (this is my first time at this location). I order the Gulf Coast oysters and the Filet Mignon and lobster. Food quality is awesome! My server was attentive but she was more straight forward. She came to take my drink order but never was any small talk like how was your day or welcome to Pappadeaux. She just took my order and brought food out. Took her until half way until I am done with my food to check up on me. After I was finish, I always prefer dessert but only if they ask, which is all the time. She didnt even ask me anything and just brought the check. Wasnt all busy either. Just the small details would satisfy a customer. Still would recommend but need to work on small details that help both the customer and the restaurant. Update: it has been 10 minutes and the check is still waiting on my table with my card. She hasnt picked it up

This is where we (5 adults) went for my birthday dinner the evening of Saturday, November 14. The food was quite a disappointment. The risotto was room temp at best and it and the spinach had too much garlic. The shrimp and scallops werent very warm either. The octopus was very tough...likely overcooked. Most every dish was too salty. They didnt have the wine we ordered from the wine list, so we had to pick something else we werent familiar with. I was hoping we would get to taste the wine for approval before it was served, but that didnt happen. The "top shelf" margarita on the rocks was a joke....mostly ice and very weak. Not what you would expect for these prices. The best part was the dessert, but I am sure those come to the restaurant already made. Service was also very good until it got real busy, then a drink refill was forgotten. I wish I had better things to say.

When my friend and I arrived for lunch, the restaurant was 2/3 empty and yet we had to wait for a table? There were 3 girls at the hostess stand. I think that two of them could have been waiting table if they are short of help. We were seated in a back area of the restaurant. After we ordered, it was a long wait before our food arrived. Just as our food arrived a ROACH came across our table. At first we thought we would stay put and try to ignore it, but when it, or another, showed up again, we moved to another table in the restaurant. Yes, the Manager comped our meals, and that was a nice gesture considering the circumstance, however, we will not be dining there again. I can somewhat tolerate most things, but not roaches when I am eating. The food here is OK, but not worth the wait or the roaches.

Not to happy with this location. My wife and I ate here for the first time on May 15, 2016 after a funeral we attended. About an hour and a half later, both of our stomachs started to turn, like we had a hurricane in our bellies. I tried to fight it and keep it down, but 2 hours after eating, I found myself uncontrollably vomiting. My wife has a stronger stomach than I though and luckily didnt throw up. However after about 10 minutes of this both of our guts were still rocking for about 2 hours. I called the store spoke to the manager, he took a statement getting my name number and address. I was truely expecting a refund to show up on my credit card or a gift card in the mail, but did not receive either.

This is a ZERO rating. This location, or maybe most of them, was terrible. The boudin was dry and I could hardly swallow it. They tried to "Cajunize" it with cayenne pepper which made the outside even dryer. The Shrimp Gumbo is really all one gumbo and they add a few shrimp on top, so they are really just boiled and peeled popcorn shrimp with no flavor since they were not cooked in the gumbo. It also has okra in it, shrimp gumbo should not have okra. It was bland and terrible. The Crawfish Ettoufee was garbage. I ate 4 bites. The crawfish tasted like dirt. I am very sure these are Chinese crawfish which are the worst on the planet. NEVER GO HERE!!!
