We have been to this diner in the past and usually the food is better than decent with large portions and fair prices. For our first experience there we were served a delicious Cole slaw while we waited for our order. I could have eaten that whole dish for my lunch and been satisfied--it was so good! However every time after that they didnt give us the appetizer Cole slaw (I keep expecting them to bring back that custom). Anyway, when we went yesterday for lunch the food was ho-hum. It was late (around 3 oclock) so maybe the kitchen staff wasnt on their toes. I ordered my usual eggplant parm sandwich that I chose to get with potato salad instead of fries and my husband ordered a Swiss burger with fries. His burger was OK, my parm was a bit too salty and the sauce seemed off. Normally its good and I look forward to warming up my leftovers for lunch the next day, but this time I think Ill just feed it to my chickens.

The food was absolutley disgusting! How can you screw up Chicken Francase??? Deep Fry it. Toss it on a plate with out draining off the OIL! No Lemon Wine sauce! It looked pretty on the plate swimming in Oil! Lets move over to the Bacon and Eggs! Ordered them over hard. Came out with cracked yolks cooked in. The Bacon was almost completly burnt to a crisp from deep FRYING the hell out of it. Some were even BLACK! Really thought this was a nice place to try out, as it was very appealing on the outside. Keep going down the road folks, there are MUCH better places just a few miles down the road. I may have very well considered coming back if the Manager or the Owner came over to talk to us but,,,, NOTHING! My 1st time in this place with my family of 5. I am glad to see you have a lack of trying to turn a customer around!!! Good ridance all the SAME!

An old and dear favorite, Scotchwood Diner transports me back to the 1970’s when the gang would stumble in at 2 am after a night of partying. Those days are gone, and a bit of the food quality went with it. The Scotchwood is okay, not great, but an okay diner. I went for lunch yesterday- the coffee was freshly brewed and hot. Ordered the split pea soup and cheddar omelet. Soup was fairly tasty and hot. The omelet was pretty good. Asked for wheat toast no butter, got plenty of butter. The hash browns were inedible- old, stale and hard. Booth was cramped and the booth jukebox played song after annoying song; the switch to turn it off was broken. 3 stars, and just barely.

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY distrusting and the manager and the boss the short guy was so rude, I came in on May 15,2016 ordered a dinner chicken parmigiana I was eating there were pieces of someones hair in there then my fiancée ordered a Mexican burger the meat was so red and not even well done, the short manager comes to our table he says go to another restaurant and kicks us out. I been coming here for 8 years and these people are very rude! I am so surprised that guy kicked us out for the way he messed up he didnt apologize at All but did that! STAY AWAY!

OMG! Amazing food! Chicken soup was so good, i asked for seconds seconds and skipped the salad. I got their scallops which, even though overcooked a bit on the top, was still succulent. Their veggies were ok, but the tiramisu cake was to die for! Im stuffed to the brim, but dont want to stop. Their adult beverages were good too! Wish I could eat this well every meal, but Id weigh a thousand pounds!

The waiter screwed up my parties order multiple times and tried to blame the mistake on me. I have had work experience in customer service and I know that the employe is always wrong. The customer is the one who is paying for the service and deserves to get what they want. When my order came out after everyone elses it still was not how I asked for it to be.

I expect diners to disappoint at lunch, but was still extra unhappy. The grilled chicken in my sandwich was too chewy to eat, the chicken tenders seemed old, too. Both the home fried and potato salad needed a heavy dose of salt.

The waiter added more than 15% on the bill as tips on the bill. This is something I have never experienced. I always give good tips often more than the norm, but this somehow made me feel offended. Bad unpleasant experience.

Website says 24 hours 7 days a week, drove 25 minutes to get here only to be turned away at midnight. When telling them the website says 24 hours they told us it "wasnt their problem".

Ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll. Didnt get egg. Then the person fought with me and said I didnt order an egg. Then charged me a full meal just to get two eggs.

Went here with a group after a prom and the staff was very understanding and helpful/tolerant of our antics. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Excellent atmosphere.
