Eh...I went here with my brother for dinner after visiting our dad in the hospital and it was close. The waitstaff was super nice, but the food was not very good. It looks like it is popular with senior citizens because the handful of people in there either had walkers, or oxygen tanks. My dad says they have a really cheap senior citizen special. My brother and I both had rumbling tummies that night. Rolls are delicious though. Waitresses try really hard to please to make up for the food. Which was nice. Probably not going to visit again though.

Good food but they give you much less than they used to give you and it feels like the price went way up. I got the chicken fried steak with 2 sides. The chicken fried steak was delicious as were they twice baked potatoes but the salad was a little sad. The twice baked potato portion was really small. Throw in an iced tea and youre going to come out spending almost $13 for lunch. Food was good, just not $13 good.

No kids menu. The menu says that child plate is same as adult but smaller. My daughter ordered a sandwich that was the same price as mine. When I asked why, they told me that sandwiches arent included as a kids meal. The girl at the desk could care less. They should have that in the menu. Very misleading. This meal was way overpriced. Will not be returning. I was a long time customer, very disappointed.

Fun cafe, old coffee shop type of setting. Service was very friendly and engaging. Chicken Fried Chicken and Chicken Fried Steak were both nicely fried and very tender topped with creamy white gravy along with mashed potatoes and southern style green beans. Dinner rolls and sweet corn bread were awesome! You will love the food and the querky atmosphere.

Dixie House Café has all of the comfort foods you are looking for. The wait staff is friendly and service is always fast. The food is reasonably priced so you can visit them and not break the bank! They also have specials on Monday and Wednesday. I cant decide is I like breakfast, lunch or dinner there best. They are all great!

Go to the Lancaster location if you want refills or good service. Love the brand but not this location have went to the restroom and had my table cleared before I was done, asked a refill and had to go to the cashier to get tea 5 min later, and was told I shouldnt have sat at the back table.

Great, friendly service! The only issue I have is that when I order the French toast, (which is all I ever order) it is never hot or even warm. Last time it was cold. Despite that, well be back. The service is very friendly and we like to support local businesses when we can!

This place is so good. We used to always drive by saying we need to visit and finally we did and Im upset we didnt stop sooner. Its usually packed but seating and service is prompt. The sausage and biscuits are the best. If you want a home style cooked meal you need to stop in.

The staff get to know you by name, and the food is just like you grandma or momma made back on the farm. Biscuits are HUGE and so are the cinnamon rolls. Excellent food and prices. A DEFINITE must for anyone wanting a home cooked meal.

All I can say is WOW!!!! the food is absolutely AMAZING!!!! the service was outstanding. Super friendly, and attentive. Complete meals for 2 came out in under 10 min. With a full house. This is a MUST EAT establishment.

Great place to eat. I love the Diner look and feel. You cant go wrong here. Just back from my second trip. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken which a pounded chicken breast. OMG was it good!!! I love this place.
