My wife and I chose to go here after arriving into Tullahoma later in the day. We were greeted by an extremely friendly young lady (daughter ?) and we were able to be seated in a cozy booth by the window. We were offered beverages, it was nice to see the option of some pleasant choices above just domestic. The menu offers a wide variety that would be great for a couple ( like us) or I noticed that there is even a kids menu. The choices are Greek in origin and do they ever stay true their roots. My wife had the "Steak Diane" and I had the " Chicken Sovlacki" (spelling...?) The meals came out surprisingly quickly, yet they began with fresh Greek salad that was fantastic. My wifes steak was cooked to her exact specifications and the sauce and rice pilaf were a combination of flavors that matched tastes like a great harmony...she loved it. My sovlacki was presented steaming hot on the plate, the chicken had a seasoning that I love, it was so moist that it just fell apart....wrapped in the pita...I had to slow my eating as I just wanted more..... The evening was completed with some baklava ( to go- we were too full) that melted like fresh honey with the filo pastry....marvelous. When we return, we will always go to Nicholas Family Restaurant.... we felt at home. This is an unpaid/unsolicited review- LG

I should have judged by the empty parking lot that this place was no good, but I decided to try it anyways. The prices arent awful, but they definitely do not match the quality of the food- so either way I felt cheated. Theyre bread is good. Thats about all I enjoyed. The service was okay. The honey mustard is not honey mustard. Pretty sure it was JUST mustard, but whatever. My waitress brought me a canned coke and a glass for me to pour my coke into?... which was weird. No big deal, right? Well, I finished the half filled lukewarm beverage before my mustard salad arrived. I waited for the waitress to come back with the main course. So ready to get the taste of mustard out of my mouth... Whenever she brought the food to the table I asked for another drink and then never received it. My hamburger steak was probably seasoned with an entire bottle of oregano. Baked potato wasnt cooked all the way. I ended up just leaving money on the table and walking out. (I even left a tip) Now, understand... I dont leave reviews. I am a genuinely happy individual, but this experience should be avoided. So here I am. Save your money. Save your time. Go somewhere else. As far as this comment, please dont take offense and look at this as constructive criticism.

If I had the option to rate his restaurant with NO stars I totally would. He has a Facebook page promoting his business and if someone leaves a bad review then he will sit there and call them ugly or tell them to fix themself..meaning their weight. The least he could do is apologize. I worked for him for about a day and I couldnt continue to do so. I saw rat droppings near the stove where he cooks everything and also he had dirty dishes everywhere. Also I saw gnats in the sweet tea and flies landing on the food he was preparing and landing on the veggie toppings and cheeses. I do not recommend eating at this crappy restaurant. He needs to be shut down. He has actually kicked families out of his restaurant for being too loud. And in my opinion, they were not loud. Is laughing illegal? I think not. DO NOT EAT HERE! ITS NOT WORTH IT.

After reading the reviews and getting a few recommendations from the locals, I decided to try this restaurant. The food was good, but just good---not great. I would have loved some feta on my gyro and the tzsaki sauce for the gyro could have been more plentiful and with cucumbers added. The greek salad was pedestrian and the olives didnt even seem Greek...they looked like your basic California black olives. I should have tried the signature steak dishes the restaurant is known for...Steak Diane or Pepper Steak. Perhaps I would have been more impressed. Service was good and it is a family style restaurant which is nice...but for real impressive food, I would go to Fast Jacks which is downtown Tullahoma.

This place possibly has the worst food and service i have ever experienced. the waitress there was outraged when we asked to comp the spaghetti because it tasted like cinnimon apples...no joke. She said that she could not take it off the ticket and we asked to talk to the manager and he did not care at all. we were very polite when asking and they were just very rude i do not recomend this place at al i am still mad!

My family has been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. Dont expect anything out of this world but the food is tasty and the prices are fair. The owners children will typically be waiting on you and its been a pleasure to watch them grow into such nice and hard-working kids. The baklava is also a must if you have room for dessert.

Food was very good. Everything was hot and fresh. The spaghetti sauce was the best Ive ever had and the Alfredo sauce had a nice hint of citrus which made it amazing. The prices are just a little on high side but the food is excellent and the service is just as good. We will definitely be returning.

I wish they had a middle emoticon to rate this place. Decent food, decent service, decent value. Nothing memorable. Gyro is Kronos, which is good but why not go elsewhere? No compelling reason to return. Gondola has better gyros and excellent pizza in a better location.

By reading the reviews, the owner is obviously not a fan of constructive criticism. Instead of taking the negative reviews and thinking "maybe I could do this differently instead," he gets offended and insults his customers. He is very selfish, inconsiderate, and rude.

Absolutely one of our favorite restaurants - anywhere. Fantastic dishes. Greek spaghetti won me for life. Shrimp sagnaki - ditto. The kids are great waitstaff. Always a pleasure to dine here. Tullahoma is a lucky town to have this business and this family.

I was given sufficient time to browse the vast menu. I was greeted and welcomed in a kind manor. Food was delicious. I got a Coke, delicious sandwich, and feast of fries all for a very low price. Wonderful experience. Will be back soon.

Nicholas is THE place to go for Gyros. I have lived in Chicago, New York and Florida and I have never had better. Great service from a family business. I have been going there for years and I have never had better.
