Last two times Ive been to this location it hasnt been very good at all. Left me wondering why I even gave them a second visit. Mashed potatoes were unmistakably instant and found a hair in the coleslaw on the salad bar. My girl ordered broasted chicken which was not very warm and was very dry. Also, I overheard a lady at another both ask to have her spaghetti microwaved because it was not warm when it arrived at her table. They werent busy, even though this was on a Sunday around 5pm. Maybe I should have just stuck to a tenderloin or cheeseburger?!

A great big 5 stars for our service at Jim Dandy. Our waitress Leanna was excellent. She shows amazing job performance, grace under pressure, fantastic work ethic, phenomenal organizational skills, and a great care for her patrons. She helped create the perfect dining atmosphere for myself and my children. Everything went good till we seen the cooks not wearing hair nets they didnt wash hands after leaving the kitchen and going back in to touch food (putting bacon on the grill) the cook came out to make her coffee 4 times while we were there and never washed her hands she was even on her phone very unsanitary there was cussing going on from the employees however our server was really nice and friendly we wont be going back very disappointed

No lettuce anywhere on salad bar to start. We had a nice waitress but she had the short term memory of a fly. Dirty plates on the salad bar, liquid mash potatoes, all the food below average, too much disappointment to list. This restaurant even had the 400lb mafia looking owner "apparently" sitting in the middle of the restaurant with limo tent sunglasses being a tough guy. Do yourself a favor and pass this place up.

I stopped for lunch today. The establishment is dirty, and the mens bathroom is beyond filthy. The stall doors dont lock and the toilet paper dispenser is broken. My order arrived incorrect and disgusting/cold. I would never eat here again. I became sick almost immediately after eating. The pie looks nice and the service was great.

Jim Dandys is an old time favorite. Their original double decker burger is the best! The one everybody else has tried to copy. Great variety in their menu and an excellent buffet. Everything from a quick sandwich and fries to a full blown Sunday style homemade dinner. Prices are easy on the pocket by todays standards. Take the family.

Wonderful service and food was amazing! Home style , known for the pies. The children eat free with the purchase of adult meals, Santa was here to sit down on his knee and whisper your Christmas wish list and giving candy canes! To find a restaurant that puts family, wholesomeness, and a neighborhood friendliness is a goldmine!

We have been here many times and plan to have many more trips here. They always have friendly staff. If you get the opportunity, try to get there for the breakfast bar. IT IS AMAZING! Unlimited bacon. Also, if you want eggs other than scrambled or toast, just ask the one serving you. They will get it from the back.

Really Disappointed, came home to Greenfield last weekend for the first time in 20 years and was looking forward to a wet tenderloin and a vanilla coke, the tenderloin was just dunked in brown gravy not soaked for a long time like before and I never was offered a refill on my soda. what a let down

Very nice home town dinner were soup, salad, and sandwiches are waiting for the taking. Fried chicken, pork tenderlions and burgers are all great. And top it off by a grand selection of desert pies. A great place to take your family an enjoy your meal in a good atmosphere.

Best breakfast buffet deal in Greenfield. Simply Amazing! Homestyle buffet is also great for dinner. Im not a huge fan of the burgers off the menu, but theyre priced decent for what they are. As someone else said, the bathroom is really outdated, but it didnt seem dirty.

I will always love Jim Dandys. My mother would take me there once a week as a child and while in high school I would go on "muffin runs" before class. It is still a great establishment. It has all the comfort foods of home. Get a Jim Dandy burger, you cant go wrong.

I didnt even get any service. They waited on people that came in after me. They served refills to customers without showing me any attention. They are rude and lazy. They are slow when they arent even busy. POOR MANAGEMENT!

The best boasted chicken around. My wife and I come from Anderson. Been going to Greenfield to Jim Dandy about 10 years. We have alot of chicken places in Anderson, but Jim Dandy has the best tasting ever.

Just moved back to Indiana recently and was not disappointed in the breaded tenderloin I had for dinner. Have been back for their breakfast buffet a couple times since and it is also delicious.

My hubby sandwich good, my sandwich had brown on lettuce. We werent ask for refills, the wattress ask if I wanted my pie heated, and I said let me check, she never came back.
