Service was not the best. Hostess/waitress didnt give us menus so we had to go to another empty table to grab some, she was nice though. The Margarita was terrible (go to Bakersfield for good margs in the Indy area) we were eating chips and salsa without any water. Other people came to serve our food (it was alright but pricey) Never came back until I got up walking around restaurant looking for her.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Both the drinks (Texas margarita! Yum!) and food are good, staff is friendly, and service is good. There are many Mexican restaurants where well have drinks, chips, salsa, and queso, but the entrees are terrible so we leave it at that. Not at Caliente. The entrees are great! Highly recommend this restaurant.

While my other Mexican restaurant is changing locations and has been closed for a while, I discovered this one and really like it. The atmosphere is very cozy, colorful, and private feeling. The Texas margaritas pass my test, and Ive liked the food Ive ordered. Some of the waitstaff doesnt seem like a good fit for the restaurant, but theyre nice enough.

I got the Nachos Mexicano I think its called and it was the best Mexican food Ive ever had. They gave me lots of chicken and steak, a little shy on the shrimp but it was all delicious. I probably wont go to any other Mexican restaurant from now on. Margarita was also very strong which is good. Definitely a 5/5

I am only giving it 3 stars because of the food. The service was down right HORRIBLE. The waitress ignored us all night and it was the longest wait for food EVER. She didnt prebus our table nor did check on us after she delivered our food. I sat 1/2 the meal with an empty drink.

This is a FANTASTIC place for delicious Mexican food. The chips and salsa are delicious and I could easily just eat those and be happy. But the menu is extensive and I have never been disappointed! Their Chimichangas are the business! Plus, Bohemia beer!

Great value for good mexican food! Quick and polite service, good food selection with reasonable prices. I had a shrimp soup for $10 that was so loaded with large shrimp, I had to take half of it home. Perfect place for a weekday dinner out.

Food quality has always been great. We have gone here several times with groups of 5-10 for lunch. The decor of the restaurant is very memorable and unique. The entire dining room has almost every surface done in intricate carved wood murals.

Great tasting Mexican cuisine is hard to come by in Indiana, but this place tastes more authentic than most and has delicious tortilla chips and salsa. The environment is bright and a hot spot on the weekends.
