The first time my boyfriend took me here in February we absolutely fell in love!! The food was tremendous! The service was fun. You had a choice of a dim lit chandelier style bar atmosphere with adorable decorating... Or a sit down family diner where kids could do what kids do... Because there was a wall that separated the two sections... Open mic karaoke was a plus. We had a total blast... I wanted to introduce the place to my daughter so we went back last night... the wall has been knocked out making it one open space completely killing the amazing uniqueness the place had... Strike one... Had to watch kids running uncontrollably all over the place... Which I know is what kids do because Im a Mom... All of the light fixtures had exactly 3 bulbs out... so you took the energy to climb a ladder and remove the burnt bulbs and put in the other two bulbs in ALL of the fixtures so that they are equally burnt out... instead of taking 30 minutes and making a run down to the nearest store and actually purchasing light bulbs for $20??? Or better yet... throw a bus boy or waitress the cash while youre removing and THROWING AWAY said bulbs while waiting for them to return with the ones that work???? Makes no sense... Especially when this place had SO MUCH going for it.... Strike Two.... The Food just wasnt good.... I ordered a club sandwich and my daughter ordered a Philly with no mushrooms... Pretty simple order right??? It took WAY to long to get there for starters and when it did... The bread on my sandwich was barely toasted... The meat smelled old... THE WORST PART.... They used chewy BACON BITS as bacon... it was just gross and no amount of mayo or mustard was going to make it any better.... My daughters Philly... COVERED in mushrooms..... And her Texas Toast was just a slice of thick bread thrown in a toaster for probably 20 seconds... No butter, nothing... Strike 3... The staff just isnt the same... I mean our little waitress was sweet and informed us that it was her first night serving by herself so I did leave her as nice tip because she tried very hard to please us and actually did a good job.... But the last time we came in EVERYBODY was so friendly and you couldnt walk by a worker without a smile or a "Hi" and we didnt get that at all this time... It went from the feel of a perfect little home town place to feeling like a commercialized franchise.... I know they spent a fortune on the remodel.... I worked in food service for over 15 years so I know how hard it is to make one successful.... But I think you may have destroyed your restaurant.... As much as I hate to say it, we probably wont be back.

Wife had been wanting to go here for sometime. We took the kids. Wife and kids get their meal while mine is no where in sight. I sat and watched my family finish their meals while I waited on my food. Not until I asked someone did any of the wait staff check on my food. Finally Im told the cook made a mistake on my food. By the time I got it my family was done. I sent it back. This joint has been officially checked off the list.

The 28 oz. ribeye was not the best quality, but it was prepared perfectly and had a fantastic flavor. My only complaint was the low grade of meat - I expect a much better quality of steak for the cut and price, which I mentioned to the manager. All the sides were good, but the fried rice and egg rolls were EXCELLENT. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very laid back. We will be back soon!

I use to love this place but the tearing down of the wall and the loud bar like atmosphere is horrible at dinner time. Really loud music and kids singing karaoke with them being out of everything we tried to order made for a horrible experience. I will not go back .

Loved the mashed potatos!! But the lady who answered the phone was sooo rude!!! Ashley I think her name was...She did not care to take my to go order. Very rude the only reason i gave it 2 stars is cause the food is alright

The service was excellent, love the variety if food they have to offer.. Now there is a full bar with karaoke almost any night of the week. Its almost like going out to a classy bar in Nashville. Loved the food.

Friendly and attentive wait staff. Ive eaten there enough times to know it wasnt an accident. The food is home style and most delicious. See the same faces repeatedly. That tell me more then anything else.

Awesome food..great bar. Employees are very pleasant and accommodating. Best of both worlds. Country Food or Asian Food or bar with Karoke. Owners are extremely nice. Highly recommend in the Portland area.

Great new menu and karaoke. Its under new management now. The mornings are the same as always, but later they have a lot more food options as well as a bar.

Good basic fare for a small town. price is on par with any mom&pop. A decent crowd for an early lunch. Everyone was friendly.
