A very inattentive waitress that provided poor service 6/8. Heather was my server and in previous visits I would have given 5 stars not tonight. Rather than serving the customers, checking back after food arrived and offer dessert before leaving the ticket on the table and running off, most servers liked to loiter in the back engaging in idle chit-chat. Heather gave a decent level of service to the truckers at the counter but neglected the other tables in her section. I asked more than once for my water to be filled, during that time she was by my table multiple times without refilling it. This place seems to be founded on good values, it is unfortunate the people hired to represent them dont see the same value conveying that message to the customers.

The ribs tasted like they were a day old, the Trucker Breakfast plenty of food, however they need to learn to cook eggs as ordered. The waitress was new so gave her a lot of slack but her lack of knowledge about the menu shows that she should not have been waiting tables alone yet, bad management decision. Also while waiting for menus (its a seat yourself diner) was listening to a customer complain about the salad that came with his $20.00 steak & he had ever right because it was just lettuce, so he asked for some tomatoes & cucumbers was told that would be extra, unbelievable!

I try to order the same thing at every restaurant I visit as a "benchmark" before I bother with the rest of the menu. Hamburger steak medium rare, eggs over easy, hashbrowns, sourdough, side of bacon. Simple, right? Amazing how few get it right. Here they NAILED IT. Beef was lean, flavorful and NOT overcooked, eggs perfect, good quality bacon and bread. Hashbrowns were crisp outside, fluffy and tasty inside. Waitress was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Ill be trying the chicken fried steak next.

Had the brisket looked like sliced bacon and is as dry as beef jerky at least the salad bar was good the cornbread they bring you as a joke its the size of a 50 cent piece they wont be a business long truckers wont put up with this over pricing for a small amount of food

My husband is diabetic. He is not supposed to eat potatoes. He ordered chicken and wanted something besides potatoes. Highway robbery. The unchanged was as much as the chicken. Dont they care about peoples health. Very unsatisfied and wont eat here again.

Always great food and service. The portions are substantial so you better be hungry. Clean and cozy at the same time. Inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend the chef salad but allow yourself at least an hour to tackle this beast.

Steak Omelette was very satisfying. Buttermilk pancake was cooked perfect. The entire meal with the hash browns was what a breakfast experience should be. Our server had a little hiccup at the end but she was attentive and professional.

Favorite place to eat, food is good, our wait staff are always on their A game, and the place has a nice home atmosphere. Room for improvements: More open space would be nice and more natural light from the windows would be nice.

They no longer have sweet potato fries. Say they cant get them any more. The juice Lucy wasnt the same one as before (6mo) ago it took over an hour to get my order to go. Good place to park for the night wont eat there again

Had a Juicy Lucy hamburger at the Stone Travel Center in Watertown SD. Hamburger was good. Fries were half soggy. Waitress ignored me. New cook messed up my order and had to redo it. At least the sandwich was good.

The Stone Travel Center looks like a resort. beautiful looking cabin-like look and feel. Clean showers and delicious food with plenty of overnight parking
