The waiter did not do his job very well, this is the second time we have had this waiter. The first time we thought he was new, this time he was worse. The food was ok but when it came time to order the dessert. We wanted 2 mamas cakes and they brought one. Then brought the others and they were both cold and hard as a rock. Then they brought out fresh ones and they were both runny and not in the shape we have had before. Then on the second one my son was eating has a red onion on the bottom of it. The manager apologized and took the cakes off our bill. Overall the experience was terrible.

Here is a list i made of how bad this place is from 1 visit. 1. Server left my wifes drink empty for 15-20min. 2. Server didnt take our order for the first 20min, he disappeared. 3. Steak was supposed to be medium rare, it was well done. 4. Shrimp was not deveined, still have fecies in it and most of the shell, it was inedible. 5. Server never checked on us until he brought the bill... 6. Asked for a margarita on the rocks and got frozen. I used to be a waiter at cotton patch. This service was completely unacceptable. We will be going to the Mansfield location from now on.

David was our waiter and he was the absolute sweetest and attentive while not being overbearing. A very kind demeanor as well. The food was AMAZING! The building is so clean and bright, its extremely inviting. There is a cotton patch by my home off 1382 and 67 and I will always choose to go a little further to this one on 20 rather than the one that is closer for the kind people, excellent service and food, and the overall atmosphere. I hope that all, if not, most cotton patches and really all restaurants model after this establishment.

Very disapointed! In this visit in the past we have had no problems! but this time it just seemd the server was desperate to leave, and was going to make sure we wouldnt come back! Messed up the oder horribly the manager did comp, it but would have been nice to have eaten as a family instead of my son watching us eat then us watching him!! couldnt get water refills but once and the water was at room temps no ice! I am not much of a complaner but this was enough for me to stay away for sometime!

I ordered food to go. I asked the cashier how long it would take for my food to be ready and she said 10 minutes. I told her good because I had something to do. When I returned, not only was my order not ready, the manager, who was on the register, did not know anything about it. If I didnt have my receipt, I would have had to pay again for my order. The worst thing is that the manager never apologized. He didnt even say thank you.

Even in the busiest hours, the wait is never more than 15-30 minutes. I do get disappointed over the veggie servings when theyre busy. It seems like they rush in the kitchen and lose a bit of quality in the process. Havent had a bad server there yet. This is one place I would go back to if I had one " not great" experience. The menu has a bit of something for everyone (cant speak for vegans or people with allergies.)

I thought the food was fine, but, there is nothing on that menu that you cant make at home for cheaper and better tasting... that sounds mean, but if youre from the south of the Mason Dixon line you already know these recipes for the most part. If youre looking for comfort food then yes go here or go to Cheddars scratch kitchen. Theyre both the same in my book. Equal in quality and service and overall experience.

Good food in large quantities. Good service. Lunch prices started at around $7 and up. One note: their sweet potato fries come with a cinnamon sugar sprinkle, which on the day of my visit was much more cinnamon than sugar. They were inedible because the dryness of the cinnamon would choke you if you didnt drink something after eating a fry. In the future, I will remember to order the sweet potato fries plain.

Very good service, the first time I went I got fried green tomatoes which were very good and the salmon the salmon was extra over cooked but decided to give it another try since every thing else was very good this time I got the fried green tomatoes still very good and the smothered cajan fish very very good and the peach punch is excellent as well, will definitely be back again

I originally ordered the pot roast; was wanting a home cooked tasting meal. was disappointed; too much gravy and the gravy didnt taste from scratch. One of the managers Tori came right over and asked about my meal and what was wrong. she fixed it with another meal ......the Cajun duo. was fabulous and suggested buttercake. I was pleased with Tori and will be back.

Waiter and staff were good but the pot roast was a vegetable plate covered by gravy and maybe at most 10% meat. Very mutch not worth the time or money. Sorry there wasnt a survey with my bill. Told the waiter and on the way out the person I assumed was the manager. They were both more or less too bad. Doubt that I will ever return to this restaurant. Beware!

Did you know that the majority of Walgreens dont have green walls? Crazy. Lies. Dont trust the media. Decent food.though. The fried green tomatoes almost made me forget nam for a second. They were so good they practically ate themselves, which is an odd image, but nothing compared to what I saw in nam... Yours forever, -Botman

Everything was great! Service and food were excellent. We went on a Monday night. There was no wait and the Chicken fried steak is on sale that day. I had the strawberry pecan chicken salad that was superb. We had cheese fries and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. We had a group and everyone was happy with their food.

This place is not usually crowded, the food is classic American style food. Service is usually good, aside from the one occasion where the server accidentally spilled a whole tray of food in our booth, and no one came over to see if all was ok, not even the manger. So that was a disappointing experience.

The great service offered at this establishment is only outmatched by the quality of food. The chicken fried steak with green beans and mashed potatoes is the dish I would suggest to first timers. Paired with an iced tea, you are looking at the staple of southern cooking; of which cotton patch excels.

Always love this place..service kinda sucks.i never liked margarita until i went to cotton patch. The manager a black lady she just makes my day when welcoming guests.shes the reason i go back shes so inviting.hope to get her name next time.the tilapia duo hasnt been consistent.
