This was my first time eating here. I live in the South Loop. I came because of the great reviews (4.3 stars out of 5.) I ordered stuffed french toast with the blueberries on the side, 2 eggs over medium, and some chicken sausage. I did not have to wait long for my food, which was great. I got my french toast with the blueberries on it, both eggs were not over medium, and there was no chicken sausage. They took it back. After a very short wait, I received 2 more eggs, only one was over medium, french toast was fine, and still no sausage. I found out that this type of french toast doesnt come with butter or syrup so I had to ask for it. I was about to cancel the sausage but it finally came out. My eggs were cold by this time and I was now pretty upset with the service. After I ate, I spoke with a manager and let them know that I was unhappy with the service. "Sorry about that," was the response I was given. Since you pre-pay for your food, and there is also a lot of self-service, tipping was a little awkward. You can make your own opinion on this place based on my experience. And you can also guess if I will eat here again.

This place used to be good about a year ago. Im not sure what happened but now it officially blows. The service was horrible, Ive had had waiters get my order wrong twice(they even up charged me and my party). Now this is can kinda understand, new people need help understanding how to work the computer right? Wrong. Once I can forgive, but twice is too many, especially when they cock an attitude and dont even want to act like they made a mistake. The food was just horrendous, only go there if you like burnt bacon and old spoiled fruit. We sometimes waited an half hour just to get a basic meat eggs and coffee. The coffee l, btw, had stuff floating around In it. Basically, dont go here. You can spend your money somewhere else and have a way more enjoyable meal

Bad service. Wrong orders. Expensive. I ordered "red velvet waffles topped with camelids nuts, drizzled with honey" and it came just as described. My friend ordered a "plain waffle topped with mixed fresh berries, banana, and Nutella", and what came was literally a plain waffle with powdered sugar and thats it!! We asked where the berries go and the staff said we ordered a PLAIN WAFFLE and thats why its a PLAIN WAFFLE. We said why the red velvet came as described on the menu while the plain one didnt, he said "it is what it is". Such a bad attitude. In the end he said "I can make another one if you want". He said IF YOU WANT. No apology at all.

Elegant and trendy decor inside, prices were a little higher than I would like to pay, but I do feel like you get your moneys worth. I had the two egg and meat breakfast combo, and my eggs were cooked as I ordered them, their garlic roasted home fries on the side are to DIE FOR. The fresh fruit bowl was not very fresh, and could have included more pieces of fruit, but overall not a dealbreaker. Staff is friendly and helpful, and our food arrived quickly after placing our order. All in all, a very good experience, and I will be returning again! Its nice to have an affordable and delicious breakfast/brunch place in the South Loop.

Little Branch Cafe is a great little coffee shop and cafe. I used to live right in the area and on a lazy weekend morning it was a great spot to grab breakfast and at night if I had some friends over and we wanted to get out and not go drinking it was a 1 minute walk to here for coffee from my old front door. The food and coffee were great and the staff was always friendly. Its not a place youll probably stumble across if you dont live near it but if you are in the area I highly recommend it!

On yet another real estate mission, I visited Little Branch Cafe with a colleague for breakfast on a recent morning. We were hungry for caffeine and a good solid meal to start our day. Little Branch was amazing! The coffee was fresh and the breakfast sandwiches second to none. The ambiance was just perfect to eat and converse without too much hustle and bustle around us. This is a terrific neighborhood staple that serves the needs of a terrific community in Museum Park. Highly Recommended.

They actually cooked my eggs how I enjoy it (over medium), the orange juice was delightful, along with self serve water area. however, the fruit was old and I couldnt even want to try to eat it. The potatoes would have been ok except they use crushed garlic from the jar - I could smell it and taste it - it has a distinct taste that is unappetizing. I was really bummed out about wasting my time coming here for what sounded like a hidden gem... not so much.

This cute, little, unassuming cafe was such a surprise among the huge, residential condo buildings in this area. I had a cappuccino at first while I got some work done and it was pretty good. Once we got hungry for a meal, I tried the grilled cheese panini which was very tasty! One time when Im not there for work Id be interested to try one of their spiked milkshakes or root beer floats!

The staff is unpleasant and under experienced, not knowing what food they are delivering to the table, resulting in the need to remake 2 items- the website says it has a full bar, but they dont serve alcohol at all- it is BYOB, and it is very slow. The only plus is that the food is pretty good. As an out-of-towner, I give it two thumbs way down

Found this little cafe while on vacation. Great coffee selection, large fresh menu like no other. I had the salmon lox very fresh, and filling. My girlfriend ordered eggs over easy when the plate arrived however one egg had burst and been cookee that way. Minor annoyance, but for the price unacceptable. Overall I had a great brunch.

The person taking orders let us wait for over 20 minutes without greeting us or taking our order while he made coffee. Then the food had NO seasoning and the ham sandwich was cold in the middle. All the tables were dirty and no one was cleaning up. By far the worst experience Ive had.

So yum! Thumbs up for the caring service and great coffee made right. Barista Kristin is amazing with her mocca art and has a warm welcoming attitude. I will be returning. Theres no parking but this spot is great if youre in the neighborhood and you can walk over.

My french vanilla cappuccino was made in a snap! I really liked the drawings on the walls. The music was very nice. It feels like youre in a fancy café. The only thing I didnt like was that the place doesnt have enough character and decor, its too modern looking

Walked in with 2 people in front of us. There was one lady working behind counter was very busy. She was taking orders and getting food ready. She was then making up a bunch of cappuccinos. After about ten minutes, we walked out along with the people behind us.
