We attended this restaurant, Wednesday, June 11th, around 4pm, for my birthday celebration. We had never been but were encouraged by the good reviews. We were the only customers in the restaurant. Our server, Emily, was one of the worst waitresses Ive ever seen. She didnt know the menu, couldnt pronounce the foods, couldnt explain the difference between the calzone and stromboli and wouldnt ask, she topped our drinks off once, and seemed more concerned with flirting with the male staff than doing her job. The food was bad, it probably would have been better if we had ordered a pizza which is their specialty. It was a terrible calzone... very little filling and mostly tough dough. My son ordered chicken tenders off the kids meal, only to be served leftover chicken filets from another dish. They were heavily breaded in Italian herbs and fried at least twice. The TVs were blaring Judge Judy, which brought about explaining to my 4yo son what a "baby daddy" is. The only time I saw life from our waitress (who stared at us from the counter she leaned on the whole meal, not 8 feet away) was when she wanted to talk us into dessert. We travel for a living, and my husband and I agreed, it was the very worst service weve ever received. The. Absolute. Worst.

If youre expecting a quality Italian dinner, do not stop here. When I walked in and placed my order to go, I noticed flies hanging all over the register counter. I ordered the Lasagna that comes with a small saled and I requested ranch dressing. While waiting I sat by the register at a table and was able to look thru the window into the kitchen. I noticed an older lady that was very well dressed eating while preparing food dishes and assisted in waitress duties. In many states this illegal. She rubbed her nose and grabbed more dishes heading to the customers. My first thought was oh crap! When I finally received my order and was able to eat it! I realized I should have gone to McDonalds. The lasagne was swimming in a watered down orange sauce that reminds me of ragu, and I had to salt it to make it have any flavor. When I opened my salad, the dressing had already been poured all over the lettuce and was a soggy salad. The lettuce came from one of those packed lettuce bags as was already partially wilted. The dressing was an el cheapo bitter ranch dressing. Overall this meal was a waste of $10.75

The worst Italian food I have ever ate in my life!!!! I just left there 10min ago It is 8:06pm on Oct 12th... I know this is gross but I want to make myself vomit to get it out of my stomach.. The $$$ was way over priced. The portion of my food was supposed to be a dinner but was lunch I paid $16 on grossness lol... it was supposed to be shrimp scampi and it wasnt at all the noodles wasnt cooked the shrimp was good but thats it the sauce they used was horrible.. and the ceaser salad was mush!! Way too much dressing their wasnt any crisp to it hell the croutons was mush too.. I wish I could put Pics of what it looked like.. the funny part is when I was talking with the waitress with braces nice girl I told her I was going to order the lasagna she said no no no thats gross your not going to like that and recommended the dish I bought... now I wish I would of stuck with the lasagna lol lol!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE FOOD!!! Go to the subway next door I guarantee the food is 100% better

If you are looking for ambience, this is not the place, but if you are looking for a good meal in a hole in the wall type setting this is your place. We ordered the Penne Vodka and the Fettuccini Alfredo as recommended by the waitress. It was great! For such an unassuming place the pasta was cooked perfect and the sauces were home made and served hot. We were so pleased with our dishes that we decided to try a slice of pizza. It was also very good NY style. Prices are also very reasonble. This is now my go to italian joint.

I could not have had a worse experience if was planned. If your not the first to the buffet, you will have to settle for whatever is left in the trays. The place cannot even afford you real butter to put on your bread. One pan of lasagna per buffet, after that its all chicken this and chicken that. Oh, dont forget the greased ziti for the ultimate stomach ache. And you too can have all this for $12 dollars... Yeah.!!!

Amazing restaurant that has the best Italian food. I mean real, legitimate mussels, pizzas, calzone, tiramisu, cannoli, etc. It belongs in a swanky downtown location, and they could easily charge 30% more. Get past the location, its not ideal. The chef is awesome and the staff are great. My in laws have made this their go to Italian restaurant for good reason.

We love Alla Puttanesca! Everything is fresh and made from scratch, wonderful flavors and wonderful service and people. The chef/cooks are fantastic, and this has quickly become our regular order-out pizza place. We HIGHLY recommend the Buffalo Pizza and the Grilled Chicken Pizza. Yumm...

We justa moveda from Tony Sopranos neighborhood in New Jersey and I gotta tellya, the pizza, shesa mag-nif-i-cent! The pizza is justa like from the NJ/NY area, so we wasa lucky to finda some real gumbas who know how to makea the pizza. The chef, hes a made man, no? ;)

Worst. Place. Ever. Dont go here. I tried three different dishes- lasagna, chicken paramigiana, and the meat calzone. Completely disgusting. It was worse than cafeteria food. Dont waste your time coming here.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today and it was wonderful!! The staff and chef were very friendly and sweet, the food was great and they even had Christian music playing!! Loved it!!
