We just got finished dining at Mia Bella. This is our second time dining here. My husband and I sat outside, with a very nice server. She was however very new, as she mention it was her second night. I ordered a nice bottle of amarone and it was very clear she was not familiar with wine service. The cork made a huge pop and she pulled it out of the bottle. We ordered 2 appetizers, the calamari and burratta arugula salad. The calamari was very tasty but towards the end of the appetizer, there was a large piece of what we thought was plastic or a shrimp tail in the appetizer. We brought it to the servers attention and she said she would let the manager know. She took away the appetizer and to our surprise the manager, brought it back on a cocktail napkin, the piece of whatever we found. He did not apologize and said this is part of the calamari that we cut then took it away. Even if it was a piece of the calamari, it was not supposed to be in the dish. He did not offer us another appetizer, a glass of wine and did NOT take it off the check. Needless to say, we will not be going back. I had the tortellini which was excellent but my husbands veal picatta was very watery. The way the manager handled our issue really ruined the rest of our evening.

I highly recommend Mia Bella to anyone who enjoys great food, a relaxed and intimate atmosphere and a staff who makes you feel so welcome its as if youre part of the family. The menu at Mia Bella is out of this world and aside from the oustanding menu items, there are always creative specials to choose from each day. Every time Ive been here, the food is prepared perfectly, and the flavors are a wonderful blend with a unique style that you wont find anywhere else. Again, the staff is very pleasant and warm, which takes a great restaurant to the next level - phenomenal! Mia Bella is definately one of my favorite places to dine on a date or with the whole family, and I can even personally recommend this restaurant as a great place to plan a celebration event! Keep up the good work Mia Bella, Cleveland loves you and your cuisine!

We ate here for dinner on 1/8/2015. I have celiac disease, so we needed a place that could accommodate my dietary needs, and Im happy to say they did a wonderful job! I would highly recommend the shrimp saganaki, the lamb chops, the scallops, and the ribeye. (My husband, daughter and I all ordered gf dishes and so I was able to sample each of them.) Everything was fantastic and the service was stellar! My only concern was with the gelato, which we were assured was gluten free. We ordered the peach prosecco (divine!) and the pumpkin. I took one bite of the pumpkin and became immediately concerned since it seemed to have pie crust in it. I did not eat anymore and was afraid I would become ill that night. Happy to report I did not. Despite that concern over dessert, I would definitely return in the future; it was that good!

Cons: 1) The Service. Server seemed unhappy with idea of me and my friend sharing just one Mia Bella Pizza between us. He got us the pizza, served us the water and then just disappeared just for us. He never cared to ask us whether we would like to have anything for desserts. 30mins after we finished our pizza, we had to call him specifically to ask for a cheque. When I tried calling some other server, he asked me to talk to my original server. So, I feel management can definitely coach the servers on Customer Service. At a place like Mia Bella, I expect the service to be as good as food if not better. 2) Other than this, I felt the options are quite limited. Pros: 1) The Mia Bella Pizza itself. The bread was fresh, the goat cheese gave a nice aroma and flavor to the toppings. A good vegetarian pizza overall.

My first time here was on a holiday and literally no other restaurant in Little Italy was open. It turned out, they werent planning on being open either, but the owners had a friend visiting from out of town, so they wanted to cook for him. But once the lights were on inside, they filled up quickly since everyone else was closed. Even though they were unexpectedly swamped, the whole family was amazingly friendly and welcoming. The food was spectacular. Weve been back maybe a dozen times, and the food is always top notch, the service pleasant, and the prices reasonable. My favorite dish is the Spicy Shrimp Cous Cous, but I also love the Scallops, the Mia Bella pasta, and the Pasta Verde. Ive eaten at almost all the other restaurants in Little Italy, and this is my favorite.

WORST EGGPLANT PARM EVER! Really, the eggplant was sliced so thin, I mean, like paper thin, that I kind of doubt there was any. I could not even detect it, let alone see it. All I could see and taste was breading floating in a sea of sauce piled with cheese. Excuse me Mia Bella, but I actually like to have EGGPLANT in my eggplant Parmesan. The menu lists this as a "favorite," and frankly, I dont know why, theres just no eggplant in it, and if there is, it must have been sliced with a micro-slicing device. Absolutely, the worst eggplant Parmesan I and my companion have had in our lives. Add to that the fact that the sauce was tasteless and overly salty, and you have the reason I recommend eating anywhere else. Will never go back.

My boyfriend and I were both famished driving through Little Italy this evening and decided to stop for dinner. He chose Mia Bella because he "liked the sign." I had eaten there previously and knew the food to be superb, and it did not fail to impress him on his first visit! I had the linguine bianco, he had the ravioli. He, being the great eater that he is, devoured every bit of his own meal and helped me to finish mine. We paired with the lovely French Sauvignon blanc and finished with the delectable fresh peach-prosecco gelato and melt in your mouth homemade tiramisu. The intimate atmosphere makes it easy to forget you are out for a meal and turns it into a lovely evening out!

This is our favorite restaurant in the state of Ohio! The food and service is outstanding, and we feel as though were visiting with family when we eat there. "Mama" Lisa runs a tight ship, and makes sure everything, and everyone is superb. We have recommended this restaurant to numerous friends, and theyve had the same experience. I can only surmise that some people troll these reviews, and make negative comments, just for spite because theyre "Mediterranean", not Italian. We have been to the restaurant more times than we can remember over the last 5 years, and sometimes drive an hour and a half from Mansfield on a weeknight, just because we love it so much!

My mother and I went and where disappointed. She has gone there once but decided to try again however was not worth it. TERRIBLE service. Never got a refill on my drink, had to ask for bread and not even sure who our server was honestly The caesar salad was good but thats it. (Which was like 10 dollars for a side) We both got eggplant parm which was a rip off (expensive). Two tiny pieces of what was supposedly eggplant cover in cheeses and thats all could taste. The pasta sauce was bland too tasted like canned tomatoes mashed. Id rather eat a jar of sauce that that stuff. Never again...there are much better Italian places to go. Dont waste or time or money
