My Family and I went there tonight. The waitress seemed nice and it fell further and further apart from there. The food was not that good, but honestly not bad enough to complain initially. We mentioned that the lettuce in a salad did not seem as fresh as it could have been which was then followed by the manager following up on this comment. He explained how WRONG our opinion was since the very idea of it was impossible, which then prompted us on giving a critique on what was wrong with the rest of the meal. With each issue we had, he repeated things like or similar too; "thats not possible", "I have years of Culinary Experience" and most notably, "Well the next time you come here, you should ask for it to made...". The next time we come here?.. With my familys combined 150+ of eating Italian food versus your 20 years of kinda making it?...Nice Try. Never again.

My husband found this place while we were staying in Murrells Inlet. We are both foodies and have to say this place is Amazing! The scampi was incredible. Fresh, well flavored broth. They have gluten free and wheat pasta, which is hard to find. Bread and dipping oil was delicious. The salad dressings are fresh and not too thick or thin. Our service was great. He had the Osso Buco, which was awesome (and I dont like mushrooms). Very tender, wonderful flavor. And the portions are plentiful. This place is not for the Olive Garden crowd. If you want fresh, flavorful, well crafted food I would recommend eating here.

Have been to Pastaria 811 numerous times with family and with friends, it is consistently excellent food. Last week when we went, I had the stuffed Grouper special and my wife had the pork tenderloin with polenta, they were both delicious. The salads are always fresh and we love their special marinated tomatoes, its the perfect combination with the house dressing. If we just want a casual meal, we will eat at the bar sometimes where they have a small plates menu with burgers, wings and personal pizzas. The Italian wings are just to die for. Definitely our favorite restaruant.

Food was good except the salad,. The lettuce was warm sadly browned and spoiled and over topped with the dressing. This was the second visit for us, the waitress with the glasses was pleasant but a poor server, she did not serve the food but literally handed it to you, she did not pre-bus the salads but pulled them away as she was handing you the other dish, she never gave us the specials we had to hear them from another table after we ordered....... a good server gave them.. I wouldnt stay away but I really recommend they trained their staff and insured food quality

Our family was on Pawleys Island on Spring Break and got take out from here tonight. I was a bit skeptical of the reviews, since the same write-up appeared on several sites (Google, UrbanSpoon, etc.). But I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good. I had muscles and linguine, my wife had fettuccine Alfredo, and my brother-in-law had the lasagna. All were happy with their choices. The bread was quite good too. Quick tip - our GPS lead us to a retirement community when trying to find this place, but it was wrong. It is on the main highway near Fresh Market.

Thursday evening, 7/28/16. Seated immediately. Very nice ambiance. Ordered Abruzzi bread for my appetizer. Like pizza on bread with tomatoes on top. Very tasty indeed. Then ordered special. Shrimp, spinach, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, etc. Over linguini with warm, fresh homemade bread to dip in the juice. Awesome! Wife had stuffed ziti, not sure of exact name, but was also great. A soda and an ice tea. $54.88 total less tip! Vhat a deal! Excellent Italian restaurant. Try this one. Hats off to Dave!

Simply amazing! Sad to read other disappointing reviews. David is a gem, his wife is lovely, the interior design remarkable, and the food -- OMG -- spectacular. Everything Abruzzi! Chicken Ricardolini is out of this world (and enough to serve an army). The Veal and Chicken Stew -- heaven sent. Purchase a jar (or three) of the Abruzzi Tomatoes to enhance any at-home dish, including a dollop in the center of a garden salad. A MUST visit to the Grand Strand area.

My wife and Mother in law got the baked ziti, I had angel hair pasta and sausage, I asked for meat sauce, didnt get it. The sauce was too watery, the sausage way to soft, the meatballs in the baked ziti were nasty, salads were okay, the waiter was very nice though and the price was reasonable for lunch. Just wish it would have tasted better. Probably will be a while before we go back, if we go back.

Amazing dinner!! Food was absolutely delicious & priced $15-20 a person. The wait was only about 20 minutes for 10 people on a Friday night in summer. The owner, David, came out and asked us how the dinner was. A must go for anyone in the Pawleys Island / Litchfield area. Difficult to find but completely worth the search.

Our food was okay. Ive had better at olive garden. The atmosphere is fancy but the tables look like they came from CI CIs pizza and the carpet was yuckie with crumbs and crayons. Not recommended if you want to go out on a nice date but okay for families.

Everything was great! The kids meals were impressive: several choices and a big portion. Each one of us had something different, and we were all impressed with our meals. We will definitely be back! If youre down in this area, give it a try!!!

First time ordering pizza takeout with a 20% fixed gratuity charge. Pizza is a bit over priced. They missed a few items on my order, but took care of that. And a few items stacked in takeout bags were smashed. This place use to be better.

The meal was amazing! Being a former New Boy from the Bronx it was the closest thing to home that Ive had in years. Becka was our waitress and was perfect. It is a must visit.

Pastaria 811 is phenomenal! The Abruzzi bread is a fantastic starter. Another one of our "must eat at" restaurants when we are at Pawleys Island / Litchfield Beach.

Great service...but since they moved to Pawleys Island the food is not the same. Veal Picatti was like a shoe sole...and their prices...$19.99

Better than average Italian food & very good New York style pizza. Large enough space to comfortably accommodate groups of 15-30.

Always great food, and accommodating to gluten-sensitive people. Been dining at Pastaria for nearly 20 years.

Seemed like the quality of the meat served could have been better. The chicken was very fatty in my dish.
