Used to be our Goto seafood restaurant for years until today. Indifference, sums it up. You know youre in trouble when the best part of the experience was the greeter opening the door who also was an excellent food runner. Too bad it was the WRONG Food three separate times. Forgot our appetizers, never refilled drinks until after we ate, did I mention wrong food orders. We watched our food go to other tables where it was gladly accepted while our came out piece-mealed. All the while hostesses were holding down the podium with little regard for what was happening around them. Manager.... where? One would think as bad as things got screwed up we would have at least received a table visit with the courtesy of an explanation. Maybe management will take some time to evaluate the significant departure from the great place this used to be.

Tomorrow we plan to go to Dicks Last Resort... but it cant be worse than this place lol. 3 cooks called in and the computers were messing up. No one warned us before we ordered our food. We ordered at 6:20 pm and were served cold and Burt food at 8:00 pm. We still had to pay 50.00. This used to be one of the best restaurants. We will most likely never return. The staff acted like we were rude for asking about food. They didnt care about our wait at all. Our 3 year old sat so long he wasnt able to sit anymore. He didnt touch his food. They could have at least let us know up front they were in trouble.

The service was the worst I have ever experienced and the food was only mediocre. Although, to be fair to the food, we were served nearly 55 minutes after ordering and then had to wait another 7 min to receive silverware, so the food may have been much better if it had still been warm. Also, since the waitress was nowhere to be found, we had no beverages to wash down the cold dry hush puppies. We did eventually receive drink refills, but only after we were finishing what we could eat and were ready to leave. We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past but were sadly disappointed.

Been coming here for a few years. If we are in Pawleys for a week, we might come to "the blue crab " 3-4 times, thats how much my wife and I love their food. Never a wait and have never had a bad meal here. For the real seafood fans. Theres some terrible tourist traps in Murrels that we avoid and always come here and always leave satisfied. Very kid friendly. Recommend the crab legs of course and the steam pots. Love the little necks. Have an infant son and he loves it there.

The staff was super friendly,we ordered to go, it was fast and food was hot!! As I waited on the hostess to return with my change just about every staff member came by and checked on me to ask if I had been helped!! Just lovely!! I ordered the shrimp and grits my husband order the captains platter,well let me tell you the food was sooooo good I had to call back and personally thank the chef!!

Kinda looks like a Joes Crab whatever - but definitely isnt. Very low-key atmosphere - great for young kids and families. The crab pizza and she crab soup are awesome! The last time we were here there was live music - just a guy with a guitar - but he was great! Wasnt overpowering for the space. Also - they do carry-out! Woo!!

Festive atmosphere and friendly wait staff. We got the low country boiler pot and the corn was cold on the inside and oysters were not steamed open. Shrimp were overcooked. I would get something else if I came here again, but will look at other seafood restaurants first.

I drive 45 minutes every time I go here. I love the food at this place. Awesome crab cakes, salmon, and creek shrimp. Food is off the charts. The service is rarely good, but the food makes it worth going. Plus there is a nice playground if you have kids

If you are from out of state, dont go here and expect to be served a drink. They refused to serve my valid NC license because they were unfamiliar with it. With plenty of other bars and restaurants around dont waste your time with this place!

Very good food but service was slow. Had the shark bite appetizer, but since its prepared blackened, we couldnt really taste the flavor of the shark. Had a grouper sandwich, which was fresh and perfectly prepared, as were the fish tacos.

Our very very favorite place to eat at Pawleys and the surrounding areas. With 16 family members its wonderful that Pawleys Raw Bar is everyones favorite and an easy choice. The food is delicious, wonderful service and a great staff.

Absolutely Awesome!!!! We were passing thru was wanting some oysters for lunch. We got the oyster platter. They were so good. An plenty of them!!! Service was friendly! Made for a good trip back! It had PAWLEYS RAW BAR as its name!

Hour wait, with 5 empty tables. sat 2 people at tables for 8 an hour to get all the wrong food. Was there last year it was great. Tonight the food tasted like Alpo. Skip this one people, until they get it right.

Great local food and service. Casual atmosphere. We stopped by on a whim Monday night. Big portions. Food was fresh. Playground for the kids. Staff was friendly. We will be returning.

One of the best places for the whole family. Child friendly - they have a fenced play area in their own front yard. Recommend the steam pot roast, oysters in season and salads!
