I had a really great time here. The food was really good and the people who come here seem really easy going and fun loving. The filet, I ordered Blue - it didnt exactly come out blue, but it was definitely rare and it was delicious. The mashed potatoes, mushrooms and sauce were all exquisite. It surely wont disappoint. I then ordered the Peach Cobbler for dessert - generous portion and it was really good. There was a bit of a wait... Granted, we sat at the bar and the bartender was inundated so, things crawled but the food was great, its a neat atmosphere and reasonably priced. The owners were also very present and friendly which is, of course, really nice and made the experience much more charming. Definitely a place I would go for a solid experience with friends and family.

Were there for lunch on 3-24-10 with friends from Heritage Plantation. Food was excellent. (We also purchased after the meal 2 quarts of She Crab Soup which the waiter brought to the table stacked one upon another in a paper bag! They would have easily fallen and spilled in the car.) The waiter, a young boy, did not have a "servers attitude." Nevertheless we tipped him the minimum of 10% on $59.00, the lunch cost, not the commodity purchase. While getting in the car he came outside and yelled "CHEAP! CHEAP!" We wrote the restaurant a week ago because we thought they would want to know how embarrassing his behaviour was. No response. Such rude behaviour does not build repeat business or good word-of-mouth.

Good food, horrible service. (8/11/2011). Hostess did not actively greet us. Hostess gave us 3 different time frames on when we would get a table. Waitress did not introduce herself and the only characteristic was the she was the only black female server that day. Waitress was very rude when asking for my ID and made a negative face at me which was very offensive. Did not come back to take our lunch orders for 15 mins, and took 30 mins to get a sandwich and salad (only 4 or 5 other tables occupied). Crab Slaw was amazing and Blackberry Basil cocktail was very enjoyable. Great atmosphere

We ate at the Chive Blossom yesterday evening. The first thing that strikes you about the food is that the portions are quite large. As a result, we decided to split the main course (fried fish platter with okra) and dessert (blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream). The fish was well prepared, as was the accompanying grits dish. Both had too much salt for my liking, so if you want to watch sodium you might want to mention this to your server. My appetizer was great: fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese; again, it was quite salty.

My family loves this place. My parents live on Pawleys and we visit fairly often so weve been to CB many times for lunch. The quality is consistently great. Mmm...crab crepes...my mouth is watering ;) They have yummy bread, great iced tea...its a cute place inside. My husband was in the Army so we lived abroad for a while and traveled all over Europe and I think the food at Chive Blossom is as good as a lot of the delicious food we ate in Germany and France. Weve always had good service.

A great addition to the PI dining scene. The atmosphere was relaxed but still upscale (check out the pendant lighting over the bar!) and the food was delish. The black-eyed pea eggrolls are a new favorite. We all had different dishes - one vegetarian, one shellfish, one fish, one steak - and all were done well. Decent wine selection, and our waitress made good suggestions for pairings.

Crab slaw is a wonderful combination of avocado, artichoke, lump crab meat and fresh veggies. Wifes tarragon chicken salad was superb. Well worth the menu prices. In my experience, when a restaurant doesnt put salt and pepper on the table, that either means they dont know what they are doing, or they *really* know what they are doing, at Chive Blossom, its definitely the latter.

This is the perfect little spot for lunch or dinner! The menu changes seasonally, but everything is always interesting and delicious! We make it a point to go to Chive Blossom Café any time we are in town! They have a great outdoor patio area for the warmer months. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm & inviting, simple yet elegant. You wont be disappointed with this choice!

Chive Blossom has amazing food, but the environment can be rather hectic. I recommend not going at peak hours because this is a very small restaurant that gets noisy very quickly, and dont bother if you want a quiet, undisturbed meal! But everyone who works here is really nice, they often remember me and are really good at recommending dishes based on what you like.

While the food was good, the service was slow. We were outside in the bar area and it seems that many of the employees were hanging out and smoking at the bar. Also saw what looked like a kitchen employee smoking and drinking a glass of wine. it seemed very unprofessional. Also, while the food was very good, the entrees seemed a bit overpriced for the area.

Ate here today for lunch. Got the Italian roast beef. For the price it was a little lackluster. Sandwich was just not dreadfully flavourful. The place is also very small, so it can feel a little cramped at times. Overall wasnt horrible but perhaps just not my cup of tea.

Chive Blossom is a wonderful spot for lunch or dinner. They have a great menu and delicious cocktails. I really enjoyed the fried green tomato and pimento cheese sandwich. The restaurant is small and does get crowded, so reservations are a good idea

Love the fresh local ingredients, the white tablecloths, no straws, and the service! Food was fantastic and the shared dessert (warm rum pound cake with bananas foster, caramel and homemade coconut ice cream!). A real gem and a must visit.

Perfect dinner, service, outdoor seating under live oaks. Ridiculously huge wine list (pages and pages!) and foreign beer list to go with it. Food was perfection and staff was relaxed, helpful, and enjoyable. Perfect!

This is the spot for fine dining on pawleys island. Ive been here 4-5 times and the food is consistently delicious, very friendly and accommodating staff / service. Better than Franks any day of the week.

A really wonderful menu and food was terrific. Foodies will love this place. Even a pretty decent wine list. Our waitress, Jill, was excellent and service overall was very good. We will be back.
