I have to say, as a person who avidly eats chipotle and has visited many different locations over the past couple years, the chipotle in Solon is by far the WORST restaurant I have ever visited. You can thank the staff for ruining fine eating establishment. Its amazing how TERRIBLE work ethic and DISRESPECTFUL employees can destroy a company that has worked so hard to build its reputation. The food at chipotle is always good (of course) but at the solon location, I know Im gambling my chances of a good meal. I have never seen such small portions at a chipotle. (Again something that is completely up to the staff) Every time I walk through the doors there is ALWAYS a line, even at their slowest hours. Having visited dozens of other locations I know for a fact that this isnt an ordinary problem. But worst of all is just the staff. I know that there has to be a respectable manager that works there and works hard, but whoever is responsible for hiring such rude, uncultivated women to work AT THE FRONT OF THE STORE should re-evaluate their position as a hiring manager. Other than that, food at chipotle is always good. I love the environment and its a great place to grab a quick bite with friends. But if youre stopping by the solon branch, just do yourself a favor and drive the extra 15 mins to Streetsboros branch. Not only will you get more food, faster but youll actually see a friendly staff thats always smiling.

WAKE UP AND CLEAN UP CHIPOTLE! My comments are not directed at the Aurora Rd.,Solon OH location. It is regarding the franchise in general. The food is always healthy, fresh and delicious. I feel the menu is well thought out and very customer orientated. However, I have been to several Chipotles and have found the cleanliness to be substandard. They are all very busy and you must wait in line before the order is placed and obviously doing well. I find it difficult to understand how a franchise so well thought out has overlooked maintainence of their eating areas. The tables are only cleaned sparaticly and not completely wiped down. There should be a certain protocal when wiping down the eating areas the with the proper supplies provided, not just a dirty, unsanitary rag. The floors are always littered with food and debris. The decor of the restaurants is just fine when new, however, after they age they become ugly. The galvinized metal becomes stained and does not clean up well and the crude hardware that is used to affix the tables to the floor rusts and also does not clean up. When a restaurant is as busy as Chipotle you would think there would be a person assigned to maintain a clean and healthy eating enviroment on a continued basis. Again this is my observation of several Chipotles that have been in business for several years.

This is bar far the SLOWEST Chipotle I have been to - EVER. We just moved to the area, and have been here twice. Both times we have waited 30 to 40 minutes!! The staff are completely unmotivated and slow. They move at a snails pace and so absolutely zero sense of urgency. When irate customers comment on their speed, they snicker amongst themselves and I overheard one employee actually say "Man, the next person that comes up here with an attitude about the wait, Im gonna let them have it". Really dude? As I had nothing better to do, I had my phones stop watch out and timed each customer. They were averaging 1 to 3 minutes PER CUSTOMER. If youve got just 20 people in line, youre in for a serious wait. The "manager" was in the back making rice or some such, instead of being on the line and setting an example for the kind of speed and urgency that is required. To the branch manager / owner: You are losing revenue - fix this. The line is out the door because your staff is abysmally slow, and people are getting back in their cars and walking away. Your already limited and slow staff is spending 75% of their time on the line filling online / call-in orders while we all wait around for a duration of time rivaling a complete meal at a sit down restaurant.

My first couple times at this Chipotle were decent, however the last 5 have been progressively worse to the point where Im going to start going to the Twinsburg location. They are disorganized and very slow witted. My last experience was horrible. I decided to do an online order since there is always a line out the door. I placed my order at 11:45AM and the first time I could choose was 3pm. I thought that was long but I understand its lunch time... So I picked 3pm as the pickup time. My wife left our place and arrived there at 3:05. Our order was not even started. So my wife waited 30 minutes for meat to cook and the order to be prepared. They ran out of hot salsa which was on our order (sure they had some 2 hours ago). My wife said the line was out the door at 3pm! Being a chef myself, I know the kitchen is a fast paced environment and I see no motivation by any of their staff....ever.

I love chipotles food, but I hate standing in line. The solution then is simple, or at least it is supposed to be. Set a time, Order online, show up, leave with food. Now because I love the food I have consistently put up with horrible service at this location for more than a dozen times over the past year. (and more going back further. So who is actually to blame?) My orders are Never ready on time. To work around that I started showing up late. They are still not ready. Not only that, but when I show up no one works urgently to finish my order. It shows there is systemic incompetence on many levels when it would be faster to actually just show up and wait in line. Why offer online orders at this location if you cannot make good on them? I will no longer visit this store, and since it is the one I most frequently it is unlikely I will support chipotle in the future.

Shouldnt even get a star. I dont usually complain but this place is terrible in almost every way. Went to lunch for work and it took longer than my lunch break to stand in line and order. Then when I get to the counter they tell me to wait while they prepare orders for customers not even there yet, instead of taking care of the 45 minute line. Its like a ride at Cedar point. Then I ordered and they messed it up; forgot what i wanted on it, went to wrap it twice and it broke, then they let it sit to get cold and soggy. Finally I had to wait for the cashier to get back to the counter, I mean wtf!!!!!!! Got in trouble for being late back to work, couldnt eat....now I want to eat people. This place is incompetent and lacking in any real quality, so if you want to wait for no reason, taste hot food thats cold, or watch wastes of skin this is the place.

On my first visit to this location, I waited over 15 minutes in a separate line for people whod placed their orders ahead, only to find out they hadnt made mine yet once I got to the front of that line. The line for people placing orders in person was out the door. Maybe Ill try this location again, but with so many other lunch options in the area, it probably wont be anywhere near the top of my list. After looking at other reviews of this location, seems my experience might not have been unique. Who has this much time to burn on their lunch hour? Also, given how busy they were, Im not sure how my chips were inedibly stale. Seems they should be getting fast enough turnover on the stock for that not to happen.
