I went to dinner with three of my friends two being out of town guest visiting. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:45 for hibachi it is now 10:30 and we just received our meal. This is unacceptable. The food did not taste how hibachi usually taste. The steak tasted like a $5 steak from Huddle House. I only recieved 3 shrimp with my steak and shrimp combo. Not only did the food taste bad there was no communication with our waitress. No one informed us of why we waited so long. It wasnt until 9:45 when a family of 4 were seated with us that they brought the cook out after getting their order to start cooking. It was a complete disappontment. Hibachi is my favorite and I could not enjoy it at all. At least with Sake house you know youll get bad service but the food is still good. My friend was on Yelp about to write a review when a lady Im guessing the owner or manager came to her and asked for her not to write the review and gave her a certificate, my friend and I received nothing for the inconvenience. For all of this been said I will not return here and am leaving this restaurant with a 1 star review. The only reason they are getting 1 star is because my salad did taste fairly decent.

Came in for dinner with the wife and kids one night. First thing I noticed was that the atmosphere was very nice. The kids always enjoy the hibachi show and was begging to go to a hibachi steakhouse. Were from Virginia and just moved down to Bluffton a couple months ago. We decided to try this place and it was fantastic! I asked for medium rare on my steak and it was cooked pretty well. My wife had gotten the teriyaki chicken and she enjoyed it very much as well. The kids enjoyed the show just as much as the food! The pricing is fair and the portions are generous. Im glad we found this place and well definitely be coming back for more.

The food was great sure, at 18-30$ a plate it had better be. But when we found a large black wasp in our food I was done. And the place was so nonchalant about it, the chef told me oh you know they just fall in sometimes to which I was revolted. If you actually look up in the building itself youll see its extremely unclean, cobwebs everywhere and dust galore. The fact they still CHARGED us for the meal was beyond repulsive. Avoid this place like the plague!!! They have BUGS in your FOOD. It should be shut down!!!!

We have eaten at Kobe a lot over the years. The last few times havent been great. We were there tonight 7-29-17 and it was terrible. We were seated at a Hibachi table, you had to ask repeatedly for drinks. The chef rushed through cooking our food. Our filet looked like shredded beef and the rice might as well have been steamed rice. I was really disappointed for the amount of money you spend at this type of restaurant. We will definitely be finding a new favorite.

you can either sit in regular restraunt or at the habachi grill. food is excelent, ambience is excelent, service is excelent. obviously be clear on what you wanrt because some of the servers speak english as a second language and there was a small mix up that was cleared up, but great otherwise. and i recommend the special sushi roll called a pink lady......its their best, very delicious with or without soy sauce

Heard great things but have yet to try the food. I have tried to eat there for lunch twice and had the same problem. After being seated and drink order taken, I never saw the waitress again. After waiting 20 minutes I left hungry and disappointed. I will not try a third time. I do not recommend going at lunch. Maybe service is better at dinner.

Arrived for our reservation on-time, to be told our table had been given away. Forced to wait 20 minutes. We were then seated in a back room that doubled as a storage room. Requested to move - took another 15 minutes and then we were finally moved into the actual restaurant - a full hour after our original reservation. Horrible experience

Moderately busy Friday 7pm. Senior culinary let a young chef get way too deep in the weeds. Rolls are small compared to other places with similar prices and rice lacks proper seasoning...friendly otherwise with reasonable drink prices but a sushi lover will be disappointed

I ordered ribeye steak which is spelled rib eye on the menu. They served me sirloin and swore it was ribeye. They said they only serve ribeye and filet. The steak was square and not marbled at all. Like skirt steak or sirlorn. Definitely not ribeye.

Horrible. I am from out of town a was expecting this to be kobes Japanese steak house (like the ones I have back home) me boy was I wrong ! Horrible sanitation and preparation of the meats. Very disappointed in my experience.

This establishment has good food and good service always leave and full but sometimes its a hit or miss with waiting for food and or service but if you take leftovers home always leave with some of that yum yum sauce

Delicious food and friendly staff. There is a definite language barrier with some of the staff that can lead to incorrect orders, so try to limit any modifications to orders at a minimum.
