Been looking for great pizza in York, and have found many mediocre places. This place is the exception - it was very good pizza. We tried their pizza al bacio (namesake - had to try it) as well as their white bruschetta pizza. Both were very good. They start with a good crust, as well as sauce (not overly saucy), and then add a lot of fresh ingredients & cheese. This is a more expensive pizza ($18 for a large 5 topping pizza) than a lot of the chains (little caesars, pizza hut, dominos, etc...), but its definitely worth it because you are getting a better tasting pizza here. Its a small shop, with not a lot of in-store dining, but they do have a few tables & chairs. We took our order to go. But well be back to try some other combinations. Cannot comment on anything but their pizza, but the pizza is one of the better ones here in York.

Placed online order at 5:46PM and its now 7:18PM.. still nothing. I live 2min away. Called and got put on hold for 15min and forgotten about. Called back to hear bs about her not hearing me when I could clearly overhear them talking. Was then told they were just double checking my order? The hell does that even mean. Looking forward to returning the food for being cold or horrible. Left a good tip ahead of time like an idiot too. Never again Update- 7:40PM drove there once I got off work since the food was for my little girls and wife at home. Was gretted with attitude from the girls ans cold food. Got a refund by the nice older guy there who was actually sincere about his apology. Never ordering here again and reccomemd no one else does either

Who ever bought this place has no clue how to run a business. When they first took over they raised the prices and changed the specials around and the new people tried to put on a show like it was not a different restaurant. The last three times we ordered from them they got our order wrong, then this time we order two subs and they tell us that they will not deliver to us on busy nights because we are outside of 5 miles. We have gotten deliver from that location over 100 times in the past 5 years since we moved in hear and some schmuck takes over and ruins the only decent delivery joint in the area. Very poor and very disappointing

Horrible service!!!! First time I ever ordered and my last. I was told delivery would be 45 minutes an hour later I call and they tell me my food just left it will be at my house in a moment. I literally live across the street. GPS time 2 minutes but couldnt leave my house to get it because I had three toddlers alone. Waited 10 more minutes and my food still had not arrived I called and the owner said they were busy didnt even care about my wait. It took them an hour and a half to make my food and drive 2 minutes across the street. My food wasnt even warm then. Taste ehh not worth the grief they gave me.

Pizza Al Bacio has excellent food. We always enjoy the stromboli and pizza. Prices are manageable and the staff is very friendly. There are tables and a TV playing the news. They are now in the upper part of the back to back building. You can now see it from the road. You couldnt at the old location. My only concern is that I was told 20 minutes on the phone, but after arriving on time I waited 25 more minutes till it was ready! This has happened several times. I hope they can work on that. Ill be back regardless. Its too good!

BEST FOOD IN TOWN YOU ARE MISSING OUT IF YOU DONT TRY IT! Feel like I am eating in grandmothers kitchen. We just had dinner and desert delivered for a unexpected small dinner party of 4 including 2 kids for $50. They start delivering at 4:30 we ordered at 3:30 and they were they at 4:34unbelievable! Went there for office lunches of 15 and visitors from China .... they ate till they couldnt eat anymore! Thanks Oh did I mention the home made Italian cookies? Omg so good! Tionie and Mike Likes

Want a real deep dish Sicilian pizza thats loaded with cheese and toppings? Want real Kalamata olives instead of insipid canned black olives? Want real green peppers and other real toppings? Get your pizza from a real Italian who knows how to make a real Italian specialty pizza. Pizza al Bacio is our familys place for takeout and delivery. Try it. I took a chance, and this is exactly what I was looking for in a pizza shop!!

All the food at Pizza Al Bacio is 5 Star! I have not had any of their pizzas or calzones that were not made perfectly or tasted TREMENDOUS. I have even had them cater several events with salads, pastas and pizzas that everybody was not asking for their name and number. My personal favorite is the Al Bacio Cheese Steak and a large Fry! Sal and Corinne are friendly and inviting and make everyone feel at home! Enjoy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. But lately the service hasnt been the best. The last 2 times our orders were totally wrong. Must be the young kids they have working answering the phones. The owner is awesome!!! We will still continue to order from there but its frustrating our orders are always wrong:(

Sometimes their time estimate for pick up is 10-20 minutes off and often times their pizza is undercooked, but we always get the Sicilian pizza with pepperoni and ask for it well done. When its done right, its really really good and its a lot of pizza for the price.

The food at Pizza al Bacio is delicious! They have everything from amazing pizza to fine dining quality pasta dishes. The french fries are the best in town, definitely try them. Friendly and hardworking owners make the experience even better!

My family used to order from them at least 1 to 2 times a week. That was until I ordered a bacon cheeseburger sub and the bacon was raw. They lost a great customer that day. Have not been back since.

I think Sal and his staff have great food. I have gotten their pizza numerous times. I had their salads which are great and their subs home made bread. I would strongly recommend Pizza Al Bacio.

The food is decent but fairly pricey for a pizza shop. If you dont live nearby it is off the beaten path. If you want something quick and are in the area, its your best option.
