I flew in from Jax yesterday and heard alot about this cafe. I called to find out what time they closed and the lady said 3. On my way there I encountered an accident which set me back and I ended up not getting there til 245. When I got there the girl told me the kitchen closes 10 mins before there closing time and they already closed there kitchen and the only option I had were smoothies. I found that to be incredibly rude. They could of told me that on the phone and I wouldnt of even drove an hour from where I was staying. They need to tell ppl on the phone they close there kitchen early. I am very disappointed and find it incredibly rude. I even told her Im from out of town and she still said she cant make amything. I wont recommend them and I would go somewhere more welcoming and considerate.

Amazing Cafe is my favorite go-to restaurant in Pittsburgh. I dont get the chance to visit there much, but I dont go out to eat much. When I do go out to eat I know that ANYTHING I order there will be made with healthy, nutritious ingredients. Thats important to me. Oh yeah - and its DELICIOUS too. My husband loves it too. Ive seen a few reviews on here stating that its too expensive. That may be true for people that dont have the high expectations of their food that I do (it should fuel and nurture me - not just fill me). Im not rich either. So I dont go out to eat much. But when I do, Im particular about where I go and the food that I choose to eat.

Their shirts say "you are what you eat - so dont be fast, cheap, easy and fake" Slow, expensive, difficult and "real" is definitely one way you could describe Amazing Cafe. You certainly cant miss their slogan "real food" anywhere inside the cafe, either. The food and coffee was good, but I just couldnt get over the environment. I mean, the guy behind the counter wearing the beanie when its 90 degrees out asked me if I "ordered something from here, man?" when I wanted to-go cups for our coffee. What?

Im very disappointed, I went here with big expectations. In my opinion it wasnt clean inside. The staff wasnt polite at all. I ordered a fruit bowl which wasnt at all what I expected it to be, plus I ordered the falafel salad on the go. Few hours later when I wanted eating it, I found out that it was given to me WITHOUT the falafel!!!!! A falafel salad without falafel. Thats new.. And thats not what I paid for.

Excellent food. The smoothies, cafe beverages, peace pizza, and buddha burger are my fiance and Is favorites! They always have an amazing little selection of vegan, homemade sweets like soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon sugar donuts, and/or almond butter brownies. The prices are steep, but the quality is excellent. If I could afford to eat there everyday, I would.

South Side lunch gem. Nestled between fried starches and grilled meats, this vegan spot is one of the few healthy options in this part of town. Emphasis on fresh rather than processed means its popular with all types of diets and dietary limitations.

They have possibly the best breakfast tacos Ive ever had! By the time I realized that, I finished all of mine and breakfast wasnt being served anymore, so Ill have to come back to get more for later. Im really excited to taste what all they have!

I went to Amazing Cafe for brunch because I was impressed by all the vegetarian options. The name says it all - Amazing Cafe is amazing! I ordered the Smile french toast, and it was delicious. I would definitely come back if Im in the area again.

Like most restaurants of this style, great food, but overpriced enough to make me not excited to return. Had the tulum tacos, and was still hungry. One more taco would have been reasonable, though I have a larger appetite than normal.

Fresh, airy atmosphere, and a refreshing menu made for a nice lunchtime break here. The menu has many options, so it may take you a while to read the chalkboard before ordering. This is just a nice, casual little bistro in The Strip.

Truly Amazing *healthy* vegan food! A little pricey, not terribly so but I think as this place grows prices may get to be more reasonable. Quality of product is top notch so worth every penny.

Unfair treatment of workers. Typical aristocrat ownership. They think they are better than people because they have money... Sad
