Hit or miss. Sometimes the experience is flawless. Sometimes, its horrible. Pretty much a gamble. The food is generally good as long as you know how to operate a grill. Ventilation is poor, so if youre sensitive to grilling or fumes, please go somewhere else. Come wearing something you dont mind stinking up, because youll smell like gas grilled food at the end of the visit. On busy nights, the fumes are intolerable. I always have to do a load of laundry and take a shower afterwards. Aside from the smell, the older Korean lady is always rushing you out well before your time is over (2 hours during the busy times). One time, she rushed the wrong table out and there was a scene. We watched helplessly while the customer argued in vain with the crazy lady. They had come in after we did and had only been there about an hour. Unacceptable! UPDATE: Came at the wifes demand and its a busy Sunday. But while the waiter took our order and brought sides, water, and serving plates, he didnt bring glasses or silverware/chopsticks. Are we supposed to drink from the pitcher or use our hands? He never came back so we had to go hunt someone down after a long while. Not cool. UPDATE2: Wife really loves this place. I do enjoy the food, but... ugh!

I suppose its a hit/miss with this place. Our experience was, its not that great and we will not be returning, as the price was high to demand some rudimentary good service. Its kind of awful when I rather make a repeated purchase at a McDonald (based on service alone). Service definitely was lacking although theyre not unfriendly when they greeted you. Food was okay but for the price, its not worth it, Ive had better food at another Korean bbq place (that we will be going there instead next time), but if you go here, its either for bbq or no bbq, your table cant have mix-and-match (i.e. 2 ordering normal meal while the other 2 ordering all-you-can-eat). We were threatened to eat separately from our child because he was 6 and hell have to pay the adult price for all-you-can-eat bbq (as his parents want to have that) and there was no option for him to eat separate meal, or have a child price for all-you-can eat for children under 8 (and he actually wanted another dish, but nevermind that, its not allowed or perhaps server didnt explain correctly). And I read that if you have a party of 6, 18% gratuity is added to your bill (we didnt have that many people in the table, so just curious about that). That is interesting.

We went there with 5 people - first time. We love Korean style BBQ - had it at all you can eat Korean BBQ places in So. Cal. but, this place is more expensive, more restrictions and less food! We had to wait long periods of time to get some more meat etc... and with 5 people - the portions they brought were quite small. Its very difficult to eat "all you can eat" when you cannot seem to get it. The portions got smaller each time you asked for more meat because as they told us, "they didnt want to have to charge us the $10 fee for wasting food"...?? At $25 per person - not cheap - and we couldnt get enough meat to have any to waste. Lots of rules and guidelines...strange for a restaurant - but I suppose that is how they keep their costs down and profits up. Good food, but they need to lighten up and let you eat what you want - if its an "all you can eat" place - then let us eatGot it!

Overall it was great. We love korean BBQ. We usually go to the one in Beaverton and they always serve marinated bulgogi meat . This place serves it frozen and when you cook it it is missing the flavor. They do give you a little Bowl with a sause to deep your meats. Service at this place was great, however. May be because we had all you can eat order or may be they were busy, It seamed like they were taking a bit more time to bring next order. Salad Boal is huge, fresh, and delicious. What was strange is that they also have strict limitation on vegetable choices per order. We also ordered recommended pineapple drink. It was absolutly delicious. My husband and I shared it ,but did not finish it. They serve it in the big cool jar. I would recommend this place for every reason but the luck of marinate /flavor for the Bulgarian meat.

Service here is a hit or miss. Busy or not staff members arent always attentive enough. The rating reflects that days service. We arrived at 6 and was moderately busy. Got seated quickly, but then was forgotten for 10 minutes without water with staff passing by not even noticing us (table of 3). We had to wave down a waiter to order. We got our first round of food but our waiter didnt check up on us once, and wasnt able to order a second round of meats until 10-15mins after we finished the first round. Mind that, we got our waiters attention, when in this type of place the waiter should check up at least once per round. Dont get me wrong, the food here great, and would only recommend going if youre the only people there to ensure good service.

The food is really quite good, the restaurant is clean and bright. Prices are pretty spendy but you do leave very full and it is all you can eat. We brought 6 people and spread out over a large table and our waiter set us up with two stoves. Halfway into our cooking, a woman walked over and snapped that only 6 adults could use two burners (two of our 6 were school aged kids) and turned the burner off. It was pretty cramped after that trying to cook everything over 1 burner and I thought it was quite rude that she interrupted us in the middle of cooking. It was two adults at each end of the table doing the cooking, and the restaurant was not busy, there were spare tables.

This Food is Oh My goodness Delicious!! My family loves the entire dining experience. We can order different items from the menu and cook them to perfection on the Table Top BBQ. So many scrumptious varieties of side dishes! A Big Plus... this Restaurant is so clean!!!! We love the Modern look with Stainless Steel! The TVs are a Plus also. So many good things at K-Town. Food was very much less than average!!! I paid over $20 for "all you can eat", only to be served so little at a time and having to wait a lifetime to get the next batch of meat we ordered. I understand they are trying to not waste food to keep costs down, but we are customers and we pay for the food! The people here are extremely greedy with their meat and customers service was terrible!!! Never going back again! Im sure there are more authentic Korean BBQ spots in Portland!

We came on Monday around 1300. The the service was slow because the place was packed. Since I was new at this restaurant, I had the all you can eat option. I asked for the small intestines to try them. They run out of them. I wanted more veggies but the options for veggies were corn, pineapple, mushrooms, eggplant and rice. I had a salad it was mostly lettuce. I wont complain because this type of restaurant supposed to be like that.
