Waited at the entrance for over half an hour with nobody to show. The waitresses are probably underpaid/understaffed because we were greeted with a scowl and the most minimal interaction. The husband and I have never received worse service in our lives, and were Korean! First, she separated our group into two different tables far from each other (despite there appearing to be large enough tables near the back) but still charged us with the 18 percent group fee. Really, our group couldnt even communicate with each other. The entire time was basically the waitress arguing with us every step of the way. When we tried to bring up our concerns, we were rudely put down. Had to flag her down more than half a dozen times just for water, literally she would eye us, avert her eyes and keep walking and ignore us.. The manager was also unavailable. He/she must be stingy to have only 2 waitresses wait on the entire restaurant without him there. When I called to complain to my (Korean) mom about Goong Palace, she exclaimed "Why the heck did you go to that place? They make me ****ing angry! Theyre ***!" So, that about sums it up.. For tastier meat cuts, larger portions, better prices, and an actual smiling and friendly waitress, go to Kum Kang San just a couple blocks away.

This place used to be a hidden Gem 7 years ago when it was fun and affordable. Back when there was a Bar and the Buffet was $12. Since then the Buffet has doubled in price($25) and the bar has been shut down permanently. I guess theyre trying to make up for lost revenue by harrassing customers for tips as well. You have to cook your own food, so I dont understand why these people feel they deserve a tip. Thats like tipping a grocery store clerk. Youll feed 2 people here for about $60 dollars. For that amount you can buy a feast to feed 6 people at any local Teriyaki shop and still have left overs the next day. This is fancy teriyaki, thats all it is.

The Best Korean BBQ In The Area The customer service and experience here is worth the drive. The staff is attentive and quick to bring orders. The food quality is excellent, and the restaurant is very clean and decent. The Bellevue location, while good, had very poor wait staff. Id give that one a pass and make the drive for this one, instead. Its always been a great experience and I look forward to eating here, each time. Except for the mean Korean lady that gets mad at me for putting some texture on my meat; who grabs the scissors and tongs from me, and takes over without being asked. But it provides a laugh, so, Ill allow it.

Our family went there this afternoon to celebrate my husbands 58th Birthday. He and I had gone one time before and were excited to share the experience with our two adult children and our grandsons. Too bad our son-in-law, who is a Dr. in Spokane had to work and couldnt join us - THIS TIME. We will be back. Delicious food, a fun cook it yourself in the center of the table experience and friendly- helpful staff that have made us feel welcome and cared that we had a good experience. If you have not tried this restaurant, it is a special treat. We will be back. And we dont mind the prices - a rare find in the South end.

The last few time we have gone service has been bad, drinks dont get refilled and orders dont arrive at the table. Also the oven fans dont pull much of the smoke up and the burners seem broken because they dont adjust correctly when twisting the knob. We could only get the burner on max or nearly off and couldnt get it to a middle setting. Finally the waiter told us every one in the group had to order the unlimited Korean bbq even though one person in the group only wanted some items off the regular menu. We have never had a problem in the past when people in our group did not want the unlimited.

Apparently they are extremely busy Friday and Saturday nights. We had a 20-minute wait even though roughly a third of the tables were empty. The staff was running around like crazy. Our waitress didnt take long getting our order, but it went downhill from there. She forgot our appetizer, got my order wrong, and didnt come back to our table to refill drinks the rest of the time. Our bibim bop had very little meat, plus it was ground beef whereas every other time Ive gotten the dish elsewhere it was thinly sliced meat. A bit overly picky, I know, but it messes up the texture. Otherwise it was tasty.

Tried the All you can eat" lunch for the first time a couple weeks ago with a friend. Enjoyed it so much I went back with other friends the other day. Great services, great food, everything was great! We tried everything and there was so much food! You cook at your table, tho they are good about getting you started and keeping an eye out if you need any assistance. Make sure you can eat everything you order as there is lots of food and there could be a surcharge for any overage. Would rate this place a 10 based on our last experience.

Who own " Passport " coupon please dont go.. I went there yesterday when I called them ahead they answered that they accepted any kind of coupon.. after I paid bills, the cashier wont take my Passport coupon.. they asked for actual card.. I has been explained about new year 2017 they stop provided the card anymore.. But they still not accept the coupon.. so It mean they cheated all customers used Passport coupon.. Recommended to all Passport users dont go there for dinning or lunch if you plan to use the coupon... Bad Restaurant

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The restaurant was so cold that my family and I had to wear our coats the entire meal. We had a living social voucher they would not honor which is why we went there in the first place to try it. Only a couple of ladies running the entire restaurant. The meal took forever on a work night and they wouldnt budge on the coupon for our family. So beware! Way too expensive for having to cook for yourself and quality of food.

The person who waited on me was very nice. The food however is not up to par with Korean Food (I spent a few years in Korea). I had the beef and it was tasteless the rice had more flavor and thats only because we put soy sauce on it. Even with the sides it didnt help it. I would save your money. No wonder they have an "all you can eat" menu. They lure you in for tasteless food but still make money. very sad.

Great food. To me the only thing that sucks is the time it takes for you to cook your food when they some around all too often to switch out your grill. Then you gotta start all over again with heating your replaced grill to cook the rest of your meat. But aside from that bullshit, everything is good. Service is good and rarely horrible at times. Meats are marinated well, side dishes are great. Great food.

Food was decent, but had a bad experience with the service. Servers seemed irritated when we kept asking for drink refills and more meat/sides for the all you can eat buffet. Although the atmosphere and decor was pleasant enough, the attitude and general service was disappointing. This had been my 3rd visit, with the same experience. Last time I will be eating here.
