Im not one to go home and write bad reviews but this has to be done. Worst dining experience ever. I called a day in advance to make my birthday reservation for 10, they noted down my name, time, and phone number. Then I call on the day of 6-7 hours in advance to confirm, all seemed well. These people dont know what a reservation is! These idiots gave away our table two times! My friend works in the restaurant business and had never heard of a place giving away a reserved seating. Completely unacceptable, I called the same day to confirm for Christ sake. Every time I asked a lady worker, she kept telling me 20 minutes; she cant comprehend that I made a reservation and my name is right there on their appointment calendar. While I stand there trying to get any sort of help, a middle aged man wearing casual clothes with a bob haircut stands by very laxed; turns out he is the manager and I find this out after approaching him with my frustration. I made the reservation a day in advance, its my birthday, everyone is starving and weve been waiting for 1 HOUR AND A HALF. What a bunch of incompetents that BARELY speak English running a business in America where more than half their customer base are English speaking Americans. Terrible, absolutely dreadful lacking experience!! After 1.5hrs we got seated and wow the service was so below par. Didnt get rice until a while before getting meats (who does that?! Not even in any Asian house do you not setup rice before the main dish!), waitress did not fill up low sodas or ask, could BARELY understand the waitress, when the waitress was taking our order on the 10 sodas she didnt even think to get a paper and pen to jot down (no common sense), instead she let out a big sigh and looked like it was a hassle; if you dont like your job then quit. During the hour and half wait I spotted a group of 5 patrons and overheard one of them say reservation. HAH as I thought to myself. These people have absolutely no clue what the word reservation means so good luck. The food even tasted less satisfying than before another time. Garbage service gets this kbbq a 1 star. The free sodas for us does not justify the service. I will never be coming back and Im sure the 9 of my friends wont either. As of now this place is 4.3 with 90 reviews, imagine if all 10 of us gave it a 1 star, the rating would be down to 3.9 If youre in a very small group, go to Cham Garden BBQ. MUCH better service there,

Lunch break finally arrived and my colleagues and I were off to a place I had never been, Gangnams BBQ. Upon arrival to this delicious hidden gem, I was immediately reminding myself of the adage concerning not judging books by their covers; that old piece of wisdom pertains to this particular restaurant. The exterior of the place may not look like much, and upon first glance you could even look right at it and not even see it, but the interior holds a pleasant surprise. The layout of the restaurant is very nice, I really liked the way the booths were laid out and how there looked to be separate rooms available for larger parties. The booths table tops have a stove built into the center of them to allow the customers to cook their own choices of meat. Having never been at this particular restaurant I let the other folks in the group cook the food and make the various food requests. The food came out almost immediately, and the meat was cooked perfectly (because we cooked it). Im not a huge potato fan, but the potatoes that they serve here on the little white plates were incredible, I couldnt get enough of them. Do your taste buds a favor and order the potatoes. The service was speedy and polite, the food was speedy and delicious, this place is a must visit.

I came here with a group to celebrate my buddy coming back into town, and it was a bit more crowded than most days. This caused the server we had to be more hasty in taking our order and explaining the menu. The entire service portion of our meal just seemed like it was rushed, and we ended up doing the hand waive across the restaurant deal to get our servers attention for another set of silverware or more rice, water, sides, etc. I definitely understand it may have been difficult for anyone due to the sheer number of customers, but for $25 per person, and the automatic gratuity charge for having more then 5 people, and not at least checking up for refills or completing our order, it seems to be a tad overpriced. Otherwise, the food was good, and I enjoyed the side dishes. I just didnt enjoy spending $70 on the food/service/tip for my wife and I. No complaints on the food itself though, if the service was a bit better in relation to the cost, I wouldve easily given it 3 maybe 4 stars.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon is the place was pretty packed, but we were able to get the last available table. The all you can eat BBQ is very popular, but we decided to get some items from their regular ala carte Korean menu. We ordered the sauteed spicy chicken aka dalk kalbi () and galbi vegetable soup aka kalbi woogujitang (). The spicy chicken was more of a light stew than a sautee. There was a little too much liquid in the dish. The flavor was good, but it wasnt really dalk kalbi. The kalbi woogujitang was really good though. The service here can be a bit hit and miss. As we were there on a Saturday afternoon, it was really busy so it took a while to get service at times, but they did have quite a few servers working.

Before my wedding, I wanted to get my ushers and wedding party and other helpers together so that everyone would be fed and ready to make my big day happen. After much research, I chose Gangnam BBQ to host my lunch party of 24. We had vegetarians, meatetarians, pesketarians, gluten-free, vegan, and every other dietary need in between and we could feed everybody a delicious lunch at a reasonable rate. Gangnam BBQ was very accomodating to our large party (it got larger, more guests showed up!) and quite prepared to handle our group in family style. Even though the rest of the wedding was a beautiful day with wonderful food, everyone still commented on how great the lunch was. Thank you, Gangnam BBQ!

We waiting a full 20 minutes before receiving water, and another 20 before we ordered and received our first round of food. From then on the service was just absent. We literally had to track people down to get them to our table. On top of the waiting for multiple items throughout the whole meal, my husband and I ended up paying just over 90 dollars for our family of four because they added in their own 18 percent gratuity with no way to take it off (so she told me). Never. Going. Again.
