You would be very lucky to come into this establishment and be seated right away. The wait is worth it, the food is great. Come super hungry and get your moneys worth at this korean bbq buffet. The staff will ask you if its your first time here and then go through the selection of food items with you. There are endless sides, a wide variety of meats, and you get to cook it all in the middle of your table. Theyll even show you how to eat all the stuff (theres thinly sliced radish, a plate of lettuce leaves, ginger, peppers, a bowl of rice, this shredded lettuce, and 2 different dipping sauces on the table for you to make different combinations) and make recommendations on pretty much everything to eat. Its on the expensive side at $16.99/person for dinner but this place has yummy food, great service, and youll leave completly stuffed and satisfied.

The food was amazing! We dont live nearby, but were driving home this weekend and felt a hankering for Korean food. We knew Lakewood would have several options, so we started driving down Pacific Hwy. We Googled nearby restaurants and this one showed a 5-star rating, so we decided to stop. From the outside, it doesnt look like anything special. Weve had lots of Korean BBQ, but the sauces here were delicious. We also loved that we could go help ourselves to the meats and sides we wanted at the do-it-yourself bar, then cook them at our table. Its "all-you-can-eat" for a set price, and the prices were really reasonable. We also talked to the server and he confirmed that the restaurant not only home-makes their own sauces and sides, but cuts their own meats as well. Although its a ways away from home, were already planning another visit.

The best Korean BBQ in the South Sound is, without a doubt, CHAM. Given the large Korea Town in Tacoma, and the number of excellent Korean restaurants in the South Sound, this is really saying something. CHAM is a small (holds about 25 ppl max), family-run spot on Pacific Avenue, just off I-5. Very easy to get to. As with most Korean BBQs, there are grills at each table and it is all you can eat. Prices are reasonable. Lunch is about $20, dinner is slightly more. Youll find all the usual, excellent cuts of meat: pork belly & jowl, different cuts of steak, and marinated meats of all types. But youll also find less common things like intestine, which I absolutely love. The banchan is excellent as well. CHAM is a must for Korean BBQ fans!

I found cham online wial looking for a new place to eat. cham had great reviews as well as a lot of pictures online that looked amazing so we went to try it. apon arriving we where instantly greeted by a man I am going to assume is the owner, such a nice guy. this place is small, I think 10-12 tables is all. but we only waited mabe 10 mins before being seated. the owner then walked us threw all the foods and even made some for us to sample and show us the proper Korean style. the food was amazing, even had my 4 year old daughter eating pork belly and pork jowl. over all I will defently be going back here. you feel like you are in a Korean grandmas house eating her homemade food. amazing service by very nice people.

Brought the misses, or I should say, she brought me for a new experience. Self serve and cook buffet is a great way to spend lunch or dinner! This would probably be best as a doubles lunch or dinner though. Or little one enjoyed himself. A couple of booths over, a family of four with a little one was eating and were family quiet. There were at least five different ethnic groups eating the same food. Staff was courteous and addressed our every need. It seemed the were some other patrons that had been here before and so a little less attention was needed by them. We were all treated equally though! This will become a routine spot.

I took my son, mother and grandson here for my sons 22nd birthday. It was the first time here for even my son who loves Korean BBQ. The folks who own the place are great. The food is fantastic and family friendly (even w/ a 2 y.o) with us. This is a great place to try for those who have never had Korean BBQ because they will show you all the side dishes, meats and how to cook it right there at the table. The pork is sooo good. I really loved the radish kimchi. Everything is fresh made there in house. I highly recommend.

Chamber garden is amazing! Great Korean BBQ and great side dishes. You cook it all yourself on the burner on the table. Its a great experience. As for the poor comments made about them only serving you if there is two people it is because they are pretty small and its not cost effective for them to sit one person when there is a line of people waiting to get in. Go with friends it enhances the experience. My family loves this restaurant we drive 30 min just to get there. You wont be disapointed .

My husband and I recently moved here from Georgia. I am half Korean and have been looking for a good Korean restaurant since we moved here with no success. We decided to try this place based on the reviews and boy am I glad we did!!! Not only is the food excellent the customer service is unparalleled. The cute couple that own the place are so friendly and very hospitable. This is not always the case in other Korean restaurants. I promise, if you go you will not be disappointed.

Pretty tasty all you can eat korean bbq, in a "hole in the wall" establishment. I have a couple others I prefer over this one, but theyre not all you can eat and they cost more. Also they mentioned not giving lettuce wraps anymore, which I missed during my last trip. I Prefer to wrap all the good meats and kimchi in lettuce with the sauces, so thats a bummer. Otherwise great service and realy good marinades on the bulgogi. Price when I went was $17.99. I would recommend.

One of the best places Ive gone for all you can eat kbbq! Its a small place so make sure you come early and hungry if not youll be starving and salivating while you smell and watch other people cook their meats! Its also self serve so help yourself to the few sides they have and also the choices of meats they have, I recommend getting their potato salad and also lots of the brisket and the chuck while those meats are cooking put lots of pepper!

I came here with a group of friends for my first Korean BBQ experience. The place is in a strip mall thats easy to miss. The owners are very helpful, very pleasant and attentive. He showed us how to grill and how to assemble our lettuce wraps. They kept checking in on us to make sure we had enough side dishes and lettuce. This place earns 5 stars for having good food and great service. I wish service was like this at all restaurants.

We enjoy tabletop BBQ so we always eat here for Korean bbq. Although it is small and were disappointed one time ca u see we came in about 2 hrs before closing and was told that there was not enough time for us to wait for availability yet before we were told of this, they received a phone call from a customer requesting a reservation which was given and we were told one time when we tried to make one that they do not do reservations. Huh
