Ill have to say that there are some great things about this place. First and foremost, the staff was awesome. This was my first time coming here. I came with my daughter around 2:30p and it was slow. Im saying this as a pro for those of you that would like to try this place, but have kids. They keep a few high chairs for parents with smaller children. I would watch their hours to make sure that a large lunch crowd isnt coming due to seating making it hard for arranging to seat your child next to you. Now, I havent been here yet when there were more people to see how really difficult to seat me with a child. My next thing to talk about is how great the staff were when it came to dealing with me and my daughter. My daughter accidently spilt her ramen and got some broth on her. The staff were very helpful, understanding, and polite about the whole situation. They handled themselves very nicely. My waiter went above and beyond his service. He helped me with my food and cleaning up the mess. Great guy. The atmosphere of the restaurant definitely seemed peaceful. I had the feel of a traditional ramen house. The way they had seating for individuals as well as couples. The individual seating really caught my eye. It gave the feeling of-- what is the word-- a means to inspire social interaction. Anyways, I liked the feel of it. One problem I did have with the place was the restrooms. It didnt have a changing table in the restroom. It was an individual restroom so, I didnt have to watch out for someone coming in while I was changing my daughter. I did have to improvise and use my changing pad on the dresser they had. That was fine by me. Im a timing dad on the go. If you made it this far, EAT AT THIS PLACE!!! Ill be coming back maybe with my wife and maybe with/without the daughter.

What do I like about this place? Its got a cozy modern atmosphere and delicious food. What do I hate about this place? The service, the pricing, and the occasional whiff on food quality. The best service Ive ever had at Jinya I would describe as "passable". The other times Ive gone Ive been ignored, served by 2-3 different people, and even had food just completely forgotten about. My last time there I put in an order for edamame and it never even came out. I was literally one of maybe 3 or 4 other people there so I have no clue what happened. The food is amazing, except when its not. My first time eating here was the best ramen Ive ever had. Subsequent times its hit or miss. Sometimes the noodles come out on the cold and chewy side. Sometimes the soft boiled egg is so cold it could cool off your soup. But when its good its great. Ive never had a watered down or nasty broth, which is more than I can say for another place that serves ramen in Tulsa (coughYOKOZUNAcough). Theyve got imported beer, good appetizers, and the ice cream mochi, although not a lot for the price, is awesome. I really hope they expand out from downtown someday. I wanna get my ramen without a $5 parking fee!

Went with friends over lunch the week of their opening. We got there around 1115 and go in without any problem. By the time we got our drinks the place was nearly full and by the time we ordered there was a wait out the door. Asia food of all kinds is outside my preference most of the time but this place was so awesome. The seasoned egg was one of the most delicious things I have had in a very long time. The portions are huge but you can order extra noodles or broth into your bowl hear the end of your meal to take home. They have a variety of "small plates" which all looked great. One friend ordered the pork bun specialty and said it was life changing. It is a pricey lunch, tabbing out for just me at nearly $20 which included a drink and tip. So, wont be a weekly stop for me, but monthly if I am lucky. Tulsa is lucky to have this place join us!

So far Ive been twice -- and I will be going again. Best ramen Ive had in Tulsa so far. The white tonkatsu was great, although I wished the broth was a little bit hotter as I like my soups piping hot. The gouyza was delicious. Came back a few weeks later and had the spicy chicken ramen. It was also excellent. This time the broth was hot but the chicken was super cold... had to dunk it down in the broth a few times to warm it up. Traditionally in Japan ramen is served with lukewarm ingredients on top and the broth warms them up.. but maybe the ingredients straight out of the fridge are cooling the soup down too much? Small complaint. But the taste if they can nail the temperature is spot on. I also had the tempura brussels sprouts and those were amazing! Service was also excellent. And they did have GF, vegetarian & vegan options as well. I will be back!

Beyond dissapointed in not only the rude woman on the phone taking my order (Jasmine) but when I called to let the manager know that not only was she rude, the order was wrong and I found clear plastic in my food. He was extremely rude and acted as if I was lying, I asked if he would like me to bring it up there and then he said he didnt understand how the order was wrong since he put it together. Ive been ordering food once to twice a week here for two weeks and today ive decided I will not ever spend another dime in this place. So, thank you Lee for not caring about your customers. I hope the owner gives you a nice raise with your terrible attitude. Really sad too because I enjoyed the food. Oh and my fiance even tipped for the to go order.

No greeting at the door. No seating offered by staff. Ordered pork ramen. Not authentic. Cutlet was mush, broth was not clear nor was appropriate temp. Egg was precooked straight out of the freezer and still cold. This location stood up to its corporate backing in that there was zero care or customer experience management... If you want to waste money on Walmart grade Asian isle fare, go here. Terribly let down. Avoid this place so that it will close. Tulsa expects better. PS: why were the hostess and bartender drinking mid-afternoon while on the job? Waste of a good location. Feel free to contact me for more details.

Read some of the bad reviews before writing mine. Dont listen to them. Who orders sweet potato wedges at a Ramen Bar..... The food wasnt speedy, but it isnt a fast food restaurant. What you are looking at is Jinya Tonkotsu Black ramen which was pretty delicious. Each of the ingredients added something to the palette, but the flavors were individual. It felt like I was eating a meal with sides with all of the different flavors. I even finished the broth because it was delicious. My co-worker from Japan said that it tasted just like what you could get in Japan. I left full and satisfied.

Came over after I got off work. Hours posted online and establishment state 10pm. Why were they well closed by 9:30pm. Even worse, the workers have no response to our knocking. Not even eye contact. As a Manager of an establishment that serves food, this is COMPLETELY unacceptable. I mean, weve opened early but have never closed, no matter how slow. I wont recommend this place for dinner not go out of my to do so. Really a bummer. I love the California Locations.
