I ordered several items off the menu and the only thing I found satisfactory was the, well nothing. The Nagiri rice was too small for the slice of fish. Im talking 1/3rd the size which made fish wrap all the way around the rice ball! (interesting but not filling. although you get a good size sushi.) The Yakisoba was simply angel hair pasta with chicken? I believe its supposed to be pork with soba noodles and some cabbage. They tried to tell me it was udon but hun I lived in Japan for a year and know what udon soup is. I felt a little disappointed but I will go back if I ever want to drive for 45 minutes for the Sushi. Wait there are better places that are closer. I dont know how this got a 5 star rating.

Beyond amazing! I have never ONCE been anything but completely satisfied here. My personal favorite sushi there is the Happy roll. I also love their green salad, and have tried (unsuccessfully to date) to duplicate the ginger dressing. Their steamed rice and the miso soup are both great. I go here on almost any special occasion, and have no idea why someone would give a bad review. The prices arent bad if you spend wisely and share with the people you came with.

Love the Restaurant. Ive been going to the the Restaurant for over two years now and Ive never had a bad experience there. Food is always exceptional and staff is friendly and attentive. My favorite sushi place ever. The garlic tempura chicken app is by far the best tasting chichen Ive had from any restaurant, the sushi and sashimi plate is enough to feed two people. Love the green tea ice cream with or without the tempura. All at a very reasonable price.

I travel extensively and love sushi. This place is the best I have eaten anywhere...it is absolutely always fresh and great tasting. Even when you order or carry out, it is always fresh. I am very picky when it comes to fresh fish and cleanliness and this place has it going on. The best anywhere in Tulsa and my goodness...the Sushi Boat can be split between two and what a value - $20! It is served with soup for two and an appetizer.

Beef teriyaki was the BOMB! Wasnt expecting steak that was so juicy and not chewy. So delicious. The fried squash and fried sweet potato were tasteless. They should sprinkle some kind of seasoning either sweet or salty. The California roll was okay, not a fan, should of had a different sushi roll. The fried dumplings were good and what I expected. But this is by far the best meal you can get for the price. You should try it!

Had the L3 lunch special that included three rolls and miso soup for $10. The spicy tuna roll was the biggest surprise; it was actually spicy and had the perfect texture. I also sampled my wifes two rolls - Dynamite and L.A. The dynamite roll was tempura fried and a bit too heavy for lunch. Also noticed that most of their rolls were salmon based. Overall it was good service and good food.

I work nearby and eat here at least twice a week, and it is always excellent. The food is fresh and delicious, all expertly prepared. Favorites include the tuna, red snapper, and yellow tail sushis, along with the BA roll. The happy roll is also excellent and quite inexpensive. If you like sushi, you will love Memories of Japan.

Awesome value! Everything was really good, and we got the shrimp and veggie tempura app (the best version of this i have had anywhere) 3 rolls (philli, volcano, and L.A. 8 pcs each) cheescake tempura, banana tempura, and soda for $36. Dont let the strip mall scare you, this place is legit!

Very nice staff and food was delicious. Wish they had presented all the menu options but missed out on some very tasty looking dishes because I wasnt made aware that they were available. Make sure you look at all the menus. Pricing was good also. Definitely will go back

Always a favorite place to come to. Sushi is quality. Prices are fair and the service and atmosphere are great. The sushi boat for two is a great deal for a date night and their icecream is amazing. Always find myself coming to this restaurant when Im in the area

Love the food and the staff. Nice and cozy for a date night. Great sushi. We go here over all the other sushi places we have been in Tulsa. They allow you to customize and add or subtract things from your rolls. I recommend the beauty and the beast roll!

Been going here since they opened years ago. Combo fried rice is the best anywhere. Consistently good and great value. Especially at lunch. Sushi is always fresh. Try the spider roll. Wife says the fried cheesecake is the bomb.

Good sushi and sashimi at reasonable prices, and a decent selection. They have party boats for larger gatherings too, if you crave variety. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. All in all, a great place for sushi!

Sushi was terrible, waiter was rude and argued when I told him the crab in the roll was gross and had a funky taste. Smells terrible in the restaurant. Very disappointed. Waste of money and now Im feeling very ill.

One of the better kept secrets in the Tulsa area. Memories of Japan is probably the most authentic sushi in town, for those who know the difference. Great food which is definitely not reflected in the price.

My favorite go-to sushi place! The sushi is fresh and very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Some of my faves & must tries: Iowa roll, Volcano, Lion King, BA roll

I had great food at Memories of Japan during my visit! Unfortunately I did learn that they will be closed from 16th-24th July 17 for a family reunion. Plan to go back after!

One of the nicer Japanese restaurants in Broken Arrow. In my opinion, the food was quite bland and lacked depth. I feel strongly that there are far better options in Tulsa.

The food is excellent. Personally, enjoyed the spicy dragon roll. The atmosphere is cheesy and the music doesnt quite fit. Still, dont let that stop you from trying it.
