Pretty great sushi with generous portions but prices to match. The sushi here is sliced large and generous, but the fish is always fresh. You feel great getting an often-free appetizer and dessert, but the food is relatively expensive with 2-piece minimums on Nigiri. Again, you get what you pay for, as youll have a hard time getting these huge pieces down in 1 bite, but thats not exactly what Im looking for. I come here for a quick sit down and always leave happy, but $30 lighter and feel like Ive overeaten. I dont really care for a bargain when Im looking for Sushi, but sometimes Id rather have 5-6 different fish but cant bring myself to getting 12 large pieces to match. Service is good but Ive had an issue here and there: salads being forgotten but still on the bill (it happens), parties being seated in the wrong order, and general language barriers. None of the above dissuade me from coming here again.

Look: The seats nice, bar was well stocked, and food made in the open. Overall nice, but nothing fancy. Service: The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and since we came at a down time there was no wait time. Food: We ordered three rolls and all were very good, I found the California to be my favorite from the slight hint of spice, overall appearance, and texture. Displayed in picture far left. Price: Found for the rolls they price was comparable or slightly more expensive than what I normally get. Cleanliness: The table clothes, booth, bar, and floor looked clean, but the plates that were brought had rice on them. Extras! The waitress brought out a free appetizer before our rolls and also offered free ice cream after our meal. This was over the top and unexpected and really makes me want to come back to this place again.

For my first time trying sushi, this was a great place to start. Really close to the TMC, this small lunch spot offers a quiet and nice atmosphere to get away from a busy workday. The parking lot is large enough to fit most vehicles (nothing over sized though). The waitstaff is highly attentive and their lunch specials are wonderful. There was an appetizer of tempura that was delicious, a salad and soup, followed by the main course. The fish was fresh with a good variety of rolls. They then follow it up with ice cream, you get to pick one of three flavors: Mango, Green Tea and Red Bean. I LOVED the Green Tea. This was our first time visiting and I will be coming back soon to try more of their menu!

The first time Ive ever been to this place and right when I walked in, I knew this was the place to be. Its VERY cute and the place is so nice! Not many workers when I came but I didnt complain. The smell was great and the chef was nice. Haha Ive never seen someone give you water thoguh you told them it was for to go! The sushi took a while but the waiting was worth it. Delicous sushi. I regret ordering onlly one dish. Wow the atmosphere is wonderful and i wouldnt ever comlplain. The price is very reasonable and low. Love it.

My wife and I have been coming to Osaka for years and ever since the original sushi chef moved away the sushi gets smaller and the quality gets more inconsistent. I would say save your money and go somewhere else. We got paper thin pieces of fish on our nigiri, the chef shorted us on the sushi A by only giving us 6 pieces and I had to get him to correct that. The only positive is that their sushi rice is always really good and warm like it should be. I wont be returning since the last 2 times have been disappointing.

Cant recommend this place enough! This little place is now my husbands and my favorite restaurant for great Japanese dishes and delicious fresh sushi. Yes, its not cheap but the portions and quality are certainly worth the cost. Never had a service issue here: refills kept flowing and the staff is very kind to us when were here. A word of warning though-this place is SMALL, and while five people can be seated comfortably, I dont think any bigger parties should try to come here during peak hours. Love this place!!!!!

The food is delicious. Food is a bit over priced. $6 for an avocado roll, ouch. There was one server that is rude. Every time we went he would be extremely impatient. Never smiled, and wanted people to hurry up to get out. Ill never forget the time when I had to leave to go back to work and he came knocking at my car with my left overs and had a long angry eye contact with me. I hope the guy is not there anymore, I havent been back since. Every one else is very friendly and welcoming except that one guy.

They were such nice people; I got several things on the house, just out of the blue. The sushi was actually really good. I was wary of eating at a strip center sushi restaurant, but it was cool! Its small, though, so dont bother taking a large group of people. Good for dates and small groups. Kind of pricey for sushi (around 7-14 dollars per roll [6-8 pieces of sushi]) but it was good.

Ordered sashimi from this restaurant. Not only were we delivered the wrong order, we were then informed that the restaurant does not actually offer sashimi. What sushi restaurant does not offer sashimi? I guess a place with such poor quality fish that they are unwilling to serve it without rice. Extremely dissapointed with this restaurant and their poor quality fish.

I had a fantastic experience. I was starving and ordered a fair bit of food; on top of that, they provided two free appetizers! The fish was fresh, flavorful, and the presentation was awesome. On top of that, my waitress was really friendly. I cant recommend them enough.

They dont joke around with the fish to rice ratio here, this place uses the biggest cuts of fish that I have seen on sushi around Houston and the it has always tasted fresh never frozen. I also like the complimentary appetizer and after dinner red bean ice cream.

Superior Service! Fab First time! Fresh food ! Delicious shrimp tempura! Sushi with salmon was very good. Salmon avocado & rice great flavor. Mango ice cream & banana was yummy! Prices equate to delicious taste, quality, & quantity; enough to take some home.

Sashimi prices are not cheap, but for good reason. These guys serve some of the most delicious, massive slices Ive ever tasted and seen. It is a small restaurant at this location so not good for groups larger than 4, but I always recommend it to me friends.

Honestly. Just OK. Most of the sauces on the sushi are store-bought and the rolls themselves are nothing special. I come here when Im super hungry and dont care so much about the flavor.... The guys behind the bar are really kind, though.

Check you Bill! Service and sushi were okay but for some reason there was a "bar" charge on the bill... and then the waitresses expected tip on top of the "bar" charge (my bar charge was $7 for a $25 meal, total $32 without tip).

Lots of tasty unique sushi but overpriced compared to other sushi joints. If youre looking for taste but dont mind the price this is definitely a great place. I personally prefer sushi rock, which is about 10 minutes away.
