1 Star, very sneaky, shoddy business, to lure customers in the restaurant and change the terms at the last minute......POOR BUSINESS.... Would not honor the groupon, was told that it was for Dinner menu and NOT buffet. The GroupOn only says Dinner and does not specify only a menu item or buffet. I placed a printer copy of the groupon with the bill, and the waiter came by and I hadnt place my credit card with the bill yet, the waiter notice the printed groupon and picked it up and told me this groupon was for lunch only, I then told him and showed that it says "Dinner" on the groupon, he then changed his tune and said, "Oh, this is for Dinner Menu only" and"it is NOT for the dinner buffet" I then asked where on the groupon it that it specified that it says Dinner menu only, he could not answer than as the groupon doesnt specify it, but kept on repeating that this is for dinner menu only. He would not honor the groupon and I had to pay full price for the dinner. When I paid the bill and left I checked the front door area for any signs that have a groupon disclaimer about dinner menu or buffet OR any kind of sign changing the terms of any groups. and there was NOT any notifications to customers about any change in the groupons offered or redeemed at this restaurant. I would like a refund for this groupon and I will be writing a negative review about this restaurant.

The food was very good, traditional northern indian food. Service was prompt and courteous. They had music playing and then turned it off and turned on the tv which was so loud and distracting from our conversation. But the real deal breaker and why I will not return is they added 20% gratuity. There were only three of us dining. Tip is based on service and value and I might add is NOT listed on the menu as being charged. We had a delightful dinner and knew what to expect for the prices but adding a gratity as a "hidden charge" left a bad taste for the resturant. Such a shame since the food was good. What is worse is we are very generous tippers and actually average above the 20% but I dont like being forced into something with my money. If it was a large table and we had to have tons of service but that was not the case. We ordered drinks and dinner at the same time. We needed nor asked for any other service.

I have lunch here about once every month or two and absolutely love it. I think my only big complaint is that the only kind of meat they have on the buffet is chicken (it would be nice to have some lamb or seafood), but they have several kinds and they are always good. The tanduri chicken is nice and moist, unlike most places that end up drying it out. I brought my mom here when she came in to town, she grew up in New Delhi, and now that is the first thing she wants to do every time she comes back to visit. The samosas are the best! I once ordered some samosas to go, they were larger than the buffet ones and a little pricey, but it was completely worth it (very authentic). I also recommend trying the saag (spinach) but they dont always have it on the buffet.

It appears to be clean and the service was friendly, though the staff barely spoke english (I have traveled extensively and am used to many accents). The food was only edible, but very WATERY and BLAND. I am not sure how someone could compare this place favorably to Misals, which is top notch. I can only imagine that the owners and friends of owners, etc., are reviewing it??? The only meat dishes are all chicken. The sauces are so watery that the rice wont even soak up all the flavorless water. The pakoras were pretty good and so was the Nan bread. Will never eat here again. By far the worst Indian food Ive had. (I will give any restaurant two stars if it appears to be clean and the food is edible.)

After a lot of search finally I found a place which provides authentic Punjabi food . Most of the Indian restaurants in greater Oklahoma area provide South Indian food , I am big fan of North Indian food , taste of India has great quality of most of the items . To name a few black dal makhani will make you come again and again . And the Alu gobi is too good . Roti is crispy and great taste . The moment you take the piece of a roti in your mouth, it just melts . I did not enjoy the the chicken Kodai much . But after almost 7 years I got to taste one my favorite dalmakhani . If you want to taste authentic North Indian food . This is the place . Enjoy!!

My husband and I have been eating here for years. It is always my husbands choice when I take him out to eat. We miss having the owner work the dinning room, because he is so good at customer service. Now that he works the kitchen he has taken the extra step of checking to see if it us when he gets an order with one being a heat level of 5 or less and one a 10. When he has new staff they question the 10. It is very disappointing to get mild when you asked for spicy. The food is always great. Whether you are looking for meat dishes or vegetarian.

We are visiting Norman for a few weeks and couldnt live without our Indian food fix. First place we tried (Misal) was terrible.....no flavor and not even very "Indian". We went to Taste of India tonight and what a wonderful treat. Excellent food, full of flavor and spice, great service and friendly folks. Well definitely go back before we leave town....and go back when were back in Norman. If youre looking for authentic Indian food, correctly prepared and spiced....this is it.

The food was very spicy and flavorful. The service was subpar. They had the buffet when i was there, several of the few dishes on the buffet kept going empty without them refilling nothing but the bread, even after bringing it to the attention of the server. The waitress brought us water and one flat coke and didnt attend to us again, without me getting up several times to ask. The food is good, so i may return in hopes that the service has gotten better.

The food was very good. We had lamb curry and chicken tandoori. Very delicious. The only downside, our bread was burned and I was disappointed that I paid for it. (to be fair they were closing in like 10 minutes when I ordered) Other than that, I would eat here over and over again. This will now be our go to for Indian food. Also great service. they were very nice, even when I came in right before closing time.
