Well, where do I start. I suppose Ill start with the outward appearance. Its not bad, but it screams "Im a step above Waffle House" from the outside. If it werent for all the cool stuff surrounding it (Top Golf, AMC Theatre, Main Event, Red Robin, the Interstate) it would have been right there, neck and neck with a Waffle House. But whatever, I never judge a book by its cover. We go in and were greeted by some flock of seagulls boy child wearing a bright hoodie and jeans. Not sure what the circumstances are that made that uniform decision. But its not the best sight for first impressions. But hey, to each their own. Next up the coffee. It sucked. Theres no other way to say it. Worst cup of coffee Ive had in awhile. But ya know, its not all about the coffee. They call it the original pancake house. I guess having a 60+ year old lady smash your pancakes with her giant, old, saggy breasts as she brings your food to you is what makes them original. I literally cut half my pancakes off and set them aside cause I wasnt fancy for boob sweat on my morning dish. Now, Ill caveat this by saying that if it were Kate Upton serving me pancakes, and pressing her delightful fun bags on my cakes....I wouldn have licked that plate clean 10 times and asked for seconds. At this point, Im done...Ive already established Im never coming back here. But my lovely fiance gets uncomfortable when I make a scene in situations like this...so I chose to remain silent. But these guys werent done yet. No, then I got the check. Thats when I saw I was gonna have to pay $2.40 for 1 awful cup of coffee. Id say on a scale of 1 to nope, Id rate this place as a definite NOPE!! Ill stick to First Watch. Unless, this place hires Kate Upton....then Ill be back.

My family and I went to The Original Pancake House location in West Chester, Ohio for the first time in Saturday, April 11th. I was not impressed at all. The welcome, there was basically no welcome, as if the staff wasnt happy at all that we decided to come into the restaurant. Our server seemed unhappy and unenthusiastic to serve us, yet she was laughing and chatting it up with all the other customers. She kept rushing away from our table, unwilling to wait for us to be done with what we were requesting, barely having the listening skills needed to actually listen to her customers. She also didnt give us any recommendations. It was not THAT crowded that she couldnt take the time to ask her customers, "Is there anything else I can get you?" I am not coming back to this place. The omelettes were grossly too big, and the house specialty apple pancake, or whatever it was, did not taste good. Broccoli inside the vegetarian omelette does not taste good, in my opinion. The best thing I had were the potatoes, and that is saying a lot since the service and the other food items were both not so great. Going to recommend my friends and family to go somewhere else if they think about going to this location at least.

Went there with three other adults and two children (5 and 1 years old). Service was slow at the start (which was fine because we were all talking). We had to continually ask for refills on drinks and once we ordered it took 30 mins+ for our food (pancakes, eggs and bacon.....) My one year old spilled a drink which we mopped up as much as we could with napkins , asked for a towel or something for us to clean the rest.... a young man came with a towel and soaked up some of the spill but left tons of ice cubes on the table, he said he would be right back with another towel, never came back. When it was time to pay we waited at the checkout stand for 9 minutes ..... people waiting in line behind us to pay. Everyones food was very good- three of us got the bacon pancakes and the other adult got bacon, eggs and pancakes. If it were just rating the food it would be 5 stars .... but the lack of service , length of time to get the food and lack of ability to pay at the end was quite the bummer .

The food was disgusting in every way!!!! We were staying the Homewood suites for my sons Soccer tournament, my husband wanted Bobs but I convinced him in to going here. 1. The host was racial profiling and seating minorities last 2.Server was rude and did not acknowledge us until my husband had to wave the manger down just for him to take our drink order. 3. The food taste cheap with higher prices then any of the other breakfast competitors. My sons pancakes tasted like play dough and the food was cold and had a funny odor. 4. The whole ambiance threw me off the Assistant manger had stains on her shirt and her appearance while serving food was disgusting. 5. Their were no minority servers, I love diversity everywhere I go. Being from two different cultures that is important to me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE JUST GO TO BOBEVANS OR FIRSTWATCH THIS PLACE IS GROSS!!!!

Walked in. Sat immediately by a kid in jeans and a hoodie. The very young looking server came up and in a very low volume asked for our order. Could barely hear them. They brought the wrong food out. Then when they did bring out the food it was cold. Had to send it back multiple times to get lukewarm warm food in return. The bacon is not fresh according to the server its cooked once in the morning he said. Your charging like 4 bucks for bacon and it is not fresh? My wifes gravy was already congealed when it arrived and was cold on the surface. They brought her burnt toast and when we asked for them to fix it and they brought back more burnt toast. Took three trips for properly toasted bread. No manager was offered or came over. We only recommend the original one in Montgomery. They never shouldve opened this one. A Waffle House wouldve been better sitting here instead.

TL;DR Bad experience, especially if youve ever been to the on Montgomery. Apparently the Original Pancake House on Montgomery has a different owner than this one. This one belongs to a chain, and you can most definitely tell. The entire ambiance is different. This one has no flowers on the tables, hosts seem overworked and less responsible, the food doesnt seem as if as much care was put into its preparation and it also tastes cheaper. One of the reasons that I prefer the one on Montgomery is that their Orange Juice is freshly squeezed and tastes that way, here the OJ tastes as though its out of a carton. The hostess did not greet us (party of 2) at the door, the waitress didnt introduce herself, the food was bad, and we were never once asked about our experience. Overall, it was just a terrible experience. This one doesnt compare to the one on Montgomery.

We went on a Saturday and neither order was correct. When it was time to leave we ask the waitress for a to go box, not once but three times and this small request was forgotten every time. So when we go to checkout up front the cashiers ask how was everything, i proceded to tell them about are bad experience. The cashier response was "thatll be $24.96"...... Im still trying to figure out how can customer service be this terrible in a reputable establishment. It doesnt stop there...i call back and ask to speak to a manager to discuss my experience. Someone answers the phone and puts me on hold for 10 minutes. Then picks the phone up and ask can they take a massage. I still havent recieved that return phone call. I guess customer service isnt the priority at this location. I will never be back.
