So, I think it is hard to find Great Indian food but I wanted people who are in search of to know about Bollywood Cafe! This really is where you need to go! The food is amazing and we go at least once a week for lunch, other times we get delivery for about 15 of us but never have been disappointed. I really cannot pick any one dish because everything I try is so good! The owner is very nice and the service is great! You have to try it and you won’t be disappointed, it will quickly become one of your favorite spots too! You know when people talk about a little place that has great food, well you found it, you wont walk in and think amazing Indian atmosphere but you will leave thinking thats the best Indian food Ive ever had!

Food quantity - great Quality - poor Maybe it is simply change of chef... or absence of main chef. Ordered chickenlamb biryani. Nowhere close to "Biryani". Specifics: - Lamb meat pieces tasted stale.. as if they were three days old - It was literally masala rice mixed with lamb and chicken pieces in it. - Lots of real big Onion pieces (yeah lots) - Lots of green peas (Real Biryani rice will never green peas) Chicken Tikka - My son ate one piece and asked why the pieces were so wet.It was soaking in lots of lime. Chicken Tandoori - Nicely cooked from outside. However, only lots of meat inside without taste. It would be great to have the marination filled inside the chicken pieces using normal knife cuts.

I discovered this little restaurant about a year ago. My husband and I like Indian food - and our busy work schedules lead us to take-out dinners. However, I noticed that the quality was inconsistent. And I stopped going to Bollywood after bringing home mango lassi which was sour- and had to be poured down the kitchen sink drain. But this evening, I decided to order from them - and ordered shrimp curry. It was inedible. There was so much salt - its obvious that the cook was careless - its not that easy to ruin a dish to the degree that this shrimp curry had been ruined. We wont go to Bollywood again. .

I think there are several Bollywoods around the area, and heard from an Indian colleague that their restaurants are good. We went to the Lexington version. Curries were great - hot is hot, portions were large and while its BYOB, there is a liquor stores right next door. $85 for five people + price of a six-pack. We like our Indian food and this is now our local favorite. Will definitely return. Only thing to point out, the seating area is pretty basic and functional. Not somewhere youd go for a dress up or romantic dinner (even if I would :-).

So ridiculous things happened when I 2nd time Order extra hot vege and sent me 10× hot. Because in my 1st order they sent me sweet when i order hot so this time i order extra hot, means they dont know definition of what extra hot. We had thrown all Food and waste of Money and time. precincts jump when I ask for replace the food, guy on phone said we made you said . They dont apologize no regrets the 1% hospitality nothing.

Ive been going to this place for years. The food quality has been consistent whether I was dining in or taking out. The flavor is good and the prices are about par for the course. Its a teeny little restaurant, but Id definitely recommend dining in as they are attentive and friendly. Check them out!

As the taste remains the same, it brings me back the memories of 2009 summer. The chicken tikka masala, Aaloo Gobi and their Chapati bread is "a must try" jut to mention some. Unlike other indian resturants where different dishes taste the same, here every dish has its unique flavor.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant around (and there are a lot between Lexington and Cambridge). Everything is served hot and fresh (even when delivered) and everything is spiced perfectly. I cant recommend this place enough.

Not bad at all - but slightly confusing menu due to cute "BollyWood" theme. Ive only had takeout from here.
