Its all about the food, and the food is good. Yes, the decor is plain and the dishes are plastic, but the food is awesome. Plus it shows up quickly; I dont think Ive ever waited longer than ten minutes. Ive gone for lunch three times and dinner once, I find their chicken tikka masala is excellent, I order the spiciness at "3". This place deserves to do well because their food rocks. Plus you can tell its a family business, so its nice to help support the local economy. For what it is (an Indian grub joint) and for what its trying to do (excellent Indian grub with no pretensions) it succeeds admirably. Five stars

I go there a few times a week. The food is always good but admittedly there are some issues. If you have a group that gets different spice levels of the same thing, they are often pretty close to the same thing, especially if they are busy. They only have 4 burners to cook on at once so they cut corners at time. Ive also had slightly low amounts of chicken in my sauce at times, but over all the food is very good and havent had many issues.

Ive been to this restaurant a number of times. The service is always fabulous and quick. The food is piping hot and very tasty. They rank their spiciness on a scale of 1-6. I like to think I can handle some hot food, but a 4 is a too spicy for me. Dining in or taking out this is a much better place than their cross-town rival. Try the garlic and herb naan, its the best.

Had lunch DEC 31st 2010 about 5pm around 7 pm I am making a trip to the Emergency room with SEVER stomach pain vomiting and diarrheal, after a night in the hospital and several days getting over one of the worst Illnesses I have ever had I received a phone call from my Doc, Hey guess what FOOD POISONING! I DO NOT recommend this restaurant to any one!

Krishna is the only place in Oxford for good Indian. Like its the only place. The food here, while not the best Indian Ive ever had is what got me introduced to the food in the first place. Ive loved it for all four years I lived in Oxford. Really everyone give them a try. The staff is also incredibly friendly, give Krishna your business.

Good food, but they do nickle and dime you. If you are paying $14 for Chicken Tikka Masala Special, you would expect they would throw in some naan. Very disappointing but the food it very good.
