Went to Hudson 29 for a small family get-together, and I was blown away by the experience. Not only was the food unbelievable, but the service was impeccable and our server was incredible. It was not terribly busy during our visit, but our server was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, full of recommendations, able to answer all our questions about the dishes, and so friendly and pleasant. We were very happy with our visit. The prime rib was my entree and quite frankly the best prime rib Ive ever eaten. The chef recommends medium rare, and it was a true medium rare. The mashed potatoes colcannon that accompanied the dish were outstanding, and the entire meal together was one of the best food experiences Ive had in a long time. It was the kind of plate that gave me great sadness when it was empty. The dessert is just ridiculous. There is a summer dessert right now that uses locally sources Branstool peaches (delicious in the own right) but combined with a shortbread and homemade whipped cream and a sweet peach champagne sauce, it creates a staggeringly tasty plate that makes other desserts hide themselves in shame. Ive been once. I dont often visit restaurants multiple times because I like to experience new places. Hudson 29 is going on the list of restaurants Ill return to again and again.

We have tried to make this restaurant one of our local "go-to" places for good food over the last several years, even though they never attempt to change the menu. Unfortunately, most of times we visit we have extremely odd servers. This started with a very pretentious and rude person. Greagg, that later became a greeter at the door. Our experience was even more enhanced the last time when the waitress never made eye contact and looked down at the floor the entire time. We asked her what the fresh catch special was and she replied "salmon". No description of the dish, just salmon! We should have just left but thought that would be even more rude than she was. Finally, last week we met Cathy. Cathy was describing the special and could not get through her sentence as she forgot the special. She then said, you are looking at me (because I was listening and it is common to look at people when they are speaking to you) so I cant finish describing the special. We have a recommendation, perhaps if your job involves dealing with the public you need to know how to interact with people. Will never return to this restaurant that tends to hire unwelcoming and strange servers and the food is average at best.

We picked up our meal for takeout. We ordered two sushi rolls and a chicken sandwich. First the sushi rolls were put with the hot food making then hot and soggy. Second we had no silverware, napkins, chop sticks, or 2 oz cups to put our soy sauce in. We ordered the chicken sandwich with the relish on the side and it came on it. The fries were the only item in the almost $50 meal that were correct. It was so bad that we didnt eat our meal, not that we actually could eat it to. Egan with with no utensils while staying at a hotel. Very disappointed... we called and the manager didnt even seem to care. He was short and stated that he would remake our meal or Comp our check but never once apologized for the inconvenience or for the fact that our meal was not edible. We wont be back!

Celebrated a birthday for my sister here. 1st off points to be known bathrooms clean love a clean bathroom the greeter at the door friendly got the pleasure of meeting Lauren the manager there great job the server team was fantastic will defiantly stick by this restaurant and mention to friends the food. Great had the french dip tender meat. The aju was nice and hot and the the corn avocado salad was a nice complement to the meal topped the night off with a glass of port very good very good....

Wonderful restaurant. The brunch that my wife and I ha were great. My omelet was perfectly cooked and my wife raved about the quiche. Our waitress Kisha was as good as they get. The entire staff that we interacted with were friendly and accommodating. They didnt even mind switching the bar television to soccer for us. The prices were very reasonable, too.Well definitely be dropping in on trips through the Columbus/New Albany area in the future.

Very good service. The food and drinks were exceptional. A bit pricey, but worth it. The chefs specials were good choices as well. Very good beer, wine and liquor selections. We werent entirely sure what the dress code was, though the server confirmed that the dress code is Polished Casual. Casual/Semi-Casual seems to also be good here as well.

This is our favorite restaurant! Last night we went for my birthday, and my whole family was there to surprise me. We were out on the patio with a beautiful presentation of delicious appetizers. The service was amazing, and we were treated so well! We all ordered food that came out quickly and was fantastic. Hudson 29 is awesome!

Natalie and Lauren run an outstanding restaurant. Jeff was my waiter and gave me A++ service. Everyone here is very professional and courteous. I had Volcano Sushi and Black Bean Burger. The food speaks for itself and the experience is what puts Hudson 29 at the top of my dining choices. Thank you to all involved!

They spent all of their money on decor and ambiance and cut the corner on developing an interesting menu. Very disappointing. Someone there needs to Google pasta bolognese because what they served was pasta with shredded beef. Others had the ribs and the sauce was strange...soggy fries. Never again.

Over priced food and bad service dont make for a nice time! I went when is was slow and the waitress was still MIA most of the time. I like salt but, my food was so salty I couldnt finish it! The inside of the restaurant looked nice. Everything else needs work. I wont be back.

Our server was amazing. She was always thinking about what we needed or what was next. Certainly on point. The food was amazing. We had a slight issue with a specific meal but the server and manager went above and beyond to fix. We will certainly return! They have great burgers!

went here a few times in the past few years. for mothers day the food was bland. service was rude. i felt uncomfortable. couldnt wait to leave. being embarrassed i just paid the bill and left. i was very undecided if i was going to leave a review or to but i feel it was needed.

Meh, more Cameron Mitchell mediocrity. Its fine for $12 entrees but not $27. Had the steak & enchilada ($27) it was cold and over cooked. Son had the Ribs they were good. Wife had chicken salad again over priced. Rolls with cheese app $8 for 3 and was not even tasty. Total meh.

We had a lovely family dinner in the private room. The service was first rate and the food was delicious. The appetizers were served quickly and the dinner orders were taken in such a manner that we didnt feel rushed. The experience was delightful.

Ordered salmon entrée to be prepared rare. When asked if it was rare enough, I gave less than an enthusiastic, its okay. Without asking, a few moments an entirely new and much more rare entrée of salmon was served. I was very impressed.
