I live right around the corner from this Chipotle branch and eat there fairly often. I always find myself asking "why do I keep coming here?" The service is terrible, just a bunch of teenage New Albany yuppies who dont know the meaning of hard work. I can safely say that 1 out of 3 times I go there they always have a huge line, and this is not because its the lunch or dinner rush. Its because a handful of people are waiting for something that is basically a necessity for a chipotle burrito....like rice. Just recently I went in to get my usual and as I walked into the building I saw that every customer, thirteen to be exact, are sitting at tables and standing around because they all had to wait on the chicken to be cooked. Luckily for me I get steak on my burrito, so I got to ditch all these poor people, order my burrito and go, but before I left I needed to fill up my drink. When I pressed the Coke button at the soda machine, I got a cup full of just clear carbonated water. These kids cant even take the time or effort to prepare their food for a rush, or keep their soda machines in proper working, and do you think they care....no. The district manager needs to do something about this and quick. PS Their portions are terrible. This is probably because they dont feel like continuously making the ingredients for orders, so they ration each persons order, but still charge you the same price. And if you want what would be the standard chipotle serving of rice beans or meat at any other chipotle, theyll just charge you for double. EDIT: 1 week after my review my wife went to get a burrito about an hour and a half before they were closed. Before she made it to the line they told her that there were currently out of corn and not planning on making any more..... -____________-

The staff here has some serious issues with how to treat customers. Theyre just a bunch of punk kids who never thought they would haft to work hard, and obviously locals of the New Albany brat culture. I dont want to write a book here so ill keep it to built points. -Idk what sucks more, having to wait there in a long line, or somehow waiting a long long time when theres only 2 other customers in the building. Ether way, youre gonna wait here. - Every cashier wants to hide in the back and do nothing. - The food is trash, rice is hard, chicken has bones, salsa... jesus that salsa, the beers good though.. - Parking is a joke - Eye contact is non existent, or looked down upon - And the most important thing to remember is that this is a food chain, one chain should taste like the last, but out of the 20+ times Ive ate here, its never tasted good, no one single time. Isnt that kinda remarkable? Youre probably asking why keep going back if it sucks........... weed ;)

Overall the food is rarely the problem. Its the staff / management! Our office is just down the road and we usually order a couple of times a month (Sales of almost $500/month). We have repeatedly tried to fax in our order, use the website or call it in. I have lost count how many times they cannot make our order in time, messed up the orders or totally forgot someone on our list. They tried to offer free meals upon our return but NO LONGER! I will drive an extra 20 minutes out of my way to hopefully get better service. I have spoken to the managers and nothing seems to change. Their fax machine is down or will not pick up - this is a business - get hardware that works! Get employees and management in there that gives a damn about their product and their customers.

When this location first opened, it was decent. I dont know when exactly things changed but it just got less and less reliable for good food/service. It seems like they added more people to the line and get things out faster but all at much worse quality. The lettuce being served today has veins of reddish brown in it. I also got the pleasure of paying for guacamole with my chips without asking for it. Its hard enough being vegetarian in this area with limited places to eat lunch. Ill be sticking to other Chipotle locations in the future. ... ugh, and the chips are stale. I would tell them but every time I do, they never believe me and just give me more stale chips. And by stale, I mean, they chew more than they crunch if that makes sense.

OUR FIRST VISIT TO THIS RESTAURANT WAS LAST NIGHT AND WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE EXPERIENCE. THERE WAS HARDLY ANY LETTUCE AND THEY RAN OUT OF BARBACOA. THEY SCRAPPED THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN AND CALLED IT GOOD FOR MY HUSBANDS BURRITO BOWL. IT WAS ABOUT 1/2 OF WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. WHEN I ASKED FOR 2 SALSAS, THE KID LOOKED AT ME LIKE I HAD 2 HEADS. THE PINTO BEANS LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD BEEN ON THE HEAT ALL DAY...A MUSHY PASTE. THE STAFF SEEMED TO BE IN A STATE OF CONFUSION AND NO ONE WAS IN CHARGE. THE OTHER CHIPOTLES WE VISIT ARE A CONSTANT FLURRY OF ACTIVITY..STAFF COOKING, CHOPPING, RESTOCKING THE BAR. NOT SURE WHAT THE DEAL IS IN NEW ALBANY. A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT AND IT IS DOUBTFUL WE WILL VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN

I worked there and it was horrible. They dont care about the customers or the employees. i had to quit because of how horrible the manager was. She didnt care about the employees or the customers, she only cared about moving up in the company. Save yourself the trouble.. They arent friendly and they talk about the customers once theyve left the building and make fun of them.. Theyre rude and get your order wrong because they dont bother to ask you to repeat what you say when they dont hear you.. Halfway DECENT customer service but Ive heard from customers that the rice is ALWAYS hard.

This Chipotle is better than most Ive been to. A lot of them are so focused on rushing you through the line when you get your food that they make me feel uncomfortable. The workers here seemed more customer focused when I last visited. The location is somewhat hidden from the Giant Eagle parking lot which I like. It also has a Starbucks right next door ! They only reason I would not give 5 * rating is due to some of the stools being worn out. I had to change my seat because the foam in my seat was sticking out and it didnt allow me to scoot in my seat and was a bit uncomfortable.

Pretty awful experience. Food was cold and obviously not fresh. Ive been managing many different types of restaurants for over 15 years(full sevice, fine dining, quick service concepts like Chipotle) and something needs to be done about this location. Its quite obvious that no real team member training is occurring and the follow up with the management team (if you can actually call it managing) is deplorable if not non-existent. Shame on you Chipotle for allowing what could be a highly profitable store to be ran so horribly.

Wish I had read the reviews before stopping here, the bad ones are correct, the good one must be the owner or family. The rice was hard like it was never cooked or really overcooked. They had no black beans. They gave us small portions. Slimmest burrito I ever had! The service was agonisingly slow. I love chipotle and get it frequently. This is the only time it has ever been so bad. Two of the three of us who ate there had upset stomachs that night. Drive the extra distance for a good place with good service.
