The outside of this place looked very interesting, it catches your eye and thats what got our attention. Walking in was a whole other experience. The decor is kind of all over the place. It appeared to be a standard Mexican restaurant, but it is very cheesy and cheap looking. The waitress was nice and very informative. If it wasnt for her we would have probably left sooner. Which brings me to the reason why. The food was subpar at best. Ive been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one had to of been the most inauthentic of them all. I ordered the California burrito and my wife had some kind of deep fried potato ball? A pablano pepper fried in a batter and a side of beans. Both dishes were covered in what I would call an orange tomato sauce. The sauce tasted very odd. Nothing like a red rojo or enchilada sauce. It was the polar opposite. It was very bitter and had almost a creamy consistency. The inner part of my burrito was filled mostly with refried beans, green peppers, some onions and very little meat. The best part of the dish was the pico de gallo. Which is sad considering I ordered a burrito. My wifes deep fried potato ball looked odd and was cold in the center. Her pepper looked reheated, like it was defrosted and then microwaved. Which brings me to the best part of the meal. My son ordered a hamburger. A hamburger at a Mexican restaurant and it looked absolutely delicious. He said it was so good, but the fries were not that great, but a burger should not be the highlight of a restaurant that deals in authentic Mexican food. Such a shame. Then to add insult to injury. The place was a mess. There was debris all over the floor. I watched the staff clearing a few tables. They pulled out this army tank of a cart and it was filled to the brim with dirty dishes to the point that they could barely fit what was on the tables. The one guy spilled a drink all over the floor, walked away with the cart and left a puddle on the floor. Which stayed there until we left. The price of the food was insulting as well. For what we ordered with zero alcoholic beverages came to almost 60 bucks! Thats just unacceptable considering they dont even use fresh ingredients. So, in closing...go to Taco Bell instead of here. Youll at least get what you pay for.

Checked in at the Holiday Inn across the street after a long day of hiking nearby with my family. The employee at the hotel desk told us that this restaurant and another down the street offered a 10% discount to guests of the hotel, so we gave this place a shot since it was closer and we love Margaritas! Once seated, we waited about 3-5 minutes before someone brought over chips and salsa (not bad except we were 2 of 4 people in the establishment). We ordered Margaritas (mostly margarita mix, hardly any tequila [not what were used to from "authentic" Mexican restaurants]). Ordered a shredded pork and veggie dish called sombrero. Meal was.. Okay. Warm. After eating but before we got the bill I asked about the discount we were told about. Server said it was only 5%. We were given the bill with no discount applied. When I asked about the discount he said he forgot and wrote "5%" across the top, and told me to proceed to the front to pay. I went, and *shazaam* there our server was again! Ready to ring us out, he looked at the check and totaled the bill without discount. I asked again. He applied the 5% and I asked another person (who came to fix receipt printer) about the 10% and he also said it was 5%. Overall: Okay food, bad drinks, shady/poor service... You get 1 STAR! Dont go here. Get drinks from local liquor store and hit up Arbys.

Not bad really, there was no hour wait like the other place up the road but at the same time I can see why. ....waiter was good but he did forget an order....there was 9 of us though, but I saw him write our orders down....I ordered a crazy burrito which has shrimp, steak and chicken....I was expecting a little more flavor with that combination of ingredients but it all rather had the same bland taste..... its great if youre really hungry!....I was was expecting more spicy or unique flavor I guess (Mexican restaurant).....went to the mens bathroom and the lock on the stall consisted of toilet paper wrapped through the hole where the lock should have been. Heres the kicker...when the bill came, it was just a receipt like you get out of a calculator. ...all you see is numbers and a total so its hard to figure your order.....just looked kinda strange...

I do not recommend this place. I am not usually the type to write a review, but people must be warned about this place. First of all, the food is mediocre and over priced. The margaritas are weak and watered down. The service was HORRIBLE. The waiter was rude and so was the manager. Also, they are not honest at all. For staying at the hotel across the street, customers are supposed to be granted a 10% discount. When we inquired about a discount the waiter said 5%. I was fine with it, but then then when the bill arrived, he did not give a discount at all!! When I spoke to the manager he gave us a 5%, but when I got back to my hotel, the desk clerk informed me that my husband and I are the only ones who did not receive the full discount. They have a deal with he hotel and it is 10% off. These people are swindlers. Go here at your own risk.

My wife and I were traveling home from Columbus and werent in the mood for BBQ. We gave this a shot. We eat Mexican regularly. The chips and salsa were good but the portion was modest. Like 20 chips and a couple of tablespoons of salsa. No offer for more. The food was good but the rude waiter and lack of attention took away any stars for good food. No drink refills, no check back to see how it was. And there was no crowd. About five tables full. All topped off by a waiter that just slammed the bill on the table and walked away. We should have went on south to Athens to the Gran Ranchero for friendly service, never ending chips and salsa, and a big California Burrito.

3/11/2017...went in for early dinner, sat at the bar, Bartender ( called himself Julio 1) seems he didnt know how to mix drinks, takes 30 minutes to get a drink. I spent $130.00 at the bar, my friends that joined me. Lord knows what they spent...am not complaining about the sorry bar service mostly, its about the " Beef fajitas" I order to go, its nothing but a BOWL OF GRILLED PEPPERS & ONIONS, Hardly any " beefs" In there. After spending that much money at the bar...i except a few pieces of dead cow on my dish.( I took pic of what I was served)..am never ever going there !!

I went to this place after hiking. I pointed one dish with a price of $7.25 on the menu and told them I wanted this and some water. However, when they gave the receipt, the price doubled which was $14.50. I asked them why the price is different from the menu. They said that price is not available and what we gave you is big dish. Why they did not tell me before I ordered? Some people are just not honest. I like honest people and that it the reason that I go to American restaurants most of time.
