For the first time in my life, despite the fact that I was very hungry, I could not eat the "food" that was served to me and had to leave to seek food elsewhere. We had drinks that just tasted like cheap mixes without alcohol, and the beans and rice we were served had just a hint of bean and rice flavor and nothing else. The enchiladas were inedible and the wet burrito tasted much the same with a steak texture. The only thing worth eating was the quesadilla appetizer we had, which incidentally used mozzarella rather than Mexican cheese, but I cant imagine anyone who cant make melted mozzarella taste good. When we sent back the nearly untouched plates, the only consolation we received was "Im sorry it didnt work out for you" and our bill. I can definitely understand why so few people were eating there during prime restaurant hours, and I suspect that most of their business is in the bar, though I doubt the food would have been much better while drunk.

Almost gave the place 4 stars but the salsa tasted like ketchup and their signature green salsa tasted like the ones I get from the store. If anything, Mexican restaurants have to get their salsa and chips right. They also need a much bigger selection of tequila at the bar. However, the decor was great and the patio was very nice to dine out on a summer day. The chicken they used in their enchilada was kinda similar to the way I make it so that was a big plus and their Golden margarita is strong if thats what youre looking for. The service was fine but its all white people lol. I almost want to work there so I could teach them a few things. Overheard they use slow cooked beef (birria) for their wet burritos. Id give that a try if I ever eat there again but its unlikely.

What a gem! The food is excellent. I had the West Burrito and the beef was incredible. I expected ground beef but instead it was small cubes of marinated "roast beef" that was so tender and tasty. Their salsa is very fine, not chunky, and had a nice "bite" to it. Service was quick. The owner was there working and was telling me that all the decorations were actually acquired in Mexico. Great little authentic place.

Drinks taste like they use off brand pop... Food was so so... nothing to write home about... Dont think Ill be going back though... $9 for nachos which was nothing more than some taco shells broke in half and topped with cheese and the shells were soggy... disappointing and overpriced

Ive been going to this place for decades. I live in Cincinnati now and I still go at least 6 times a year. The owners a great guy and usually there. Chicken burrito with extra rice instead of beans and extra verde sauce. Great, now I want to drive back to Michigan again.

First time dining there food was awful was not satisfied make sure to check your order, I ordered a Mexican sandwich and winding up with I guess a Mexican pizza something with ham !!!!!!! Should have went to armandos.

One of the few places that serve Fried Flour Tacos....a favorite for my husband and I. They also have a beautiful flower filled walled outdoor patio. The owner Jeff has a very green thumb :-)

Pretty disappointing. Walked in and no one greeted us or helped us to a table. We werent even sure if we were in the right room so we ended up in a private dining room. Left shortly after.
