I love this place! We keep coming back for the chicken curry. The blend of spices in their curry sauce is just phenomenal. They also have very yummy fresh baked naan. The price is very reasonable for the portion. One order of curry always means 2 dinners for me. I really like how they can make the curry not spicy at all for you, because Im the biggest wimp when it comes to spiciness. Ive tried some of their appetizers and they have some interesting things, although pretty much all of it seems to be fried. I also LOVE the mango lassi. Its like a mango smoothie with yogurt in it. Delicious! The people that work there are quite friendly. No complaints on service.

I find a lot of these reviews suspicious. The food at this restaurant is truly outstanding and everyone knows it. They have a similar / same menu as Ambar India restaurant in Clifton, which is my favorite in the USA. The food at Raja India is about 95% as good, which means its is delicious. Any of the Saag dishes, especially the Saag Chole are out of this world (and I normally dont even like spinach or chickpeas). The Chicken tikka masala or Chicken Makhani are similarly great. I can never decide which one to order. Try ordering one of these off the menu (I have not done the buffet).

This place is amazing. We eat Indian often and this is the best we have tried. The staff are always friendly and have never had anything less than perfect. There are a couple negative reviews but I dont think they are rating the same restaurant because one of them mentioned a hotel and it is not in or near a hotel. The others mentioned gratuity on a buffet but dinner is off a menu and we have never been charged gratuity, though I wouldnt mind if they did anyway. If you are not willing to leave a tip then stay home cook your own food, serve yourself, and clean your own dishes.

The food at Raja is good. Not great, but good. I find their paneer makhani lacking in any ingredients other than paneer and sauce (no cashews, tomatoes). In addition, the prices are extremely exorbitant, especially if you are doing take out. Also, if you intend on doing a take out "buffet", they do not weigh your box like most other Indian restaurants, they charge you full price for the buffet. I dont know if its a "were in Mason" thing or not, but I prefer the Clifton based restaurants.

Raja creates an experience that feels like "home!" The food is so fresh, delicious and the staff is warm and wonderful. You call your own spiciness so everyone is happy. The menu is extensive and priced nice for a large portion. Each member of our fam has their favorite dish, always have some to take home and CRAVE it once its gone. Raja is one of the top two requested restaurants we go to when its dinner out! Youve got to give it a try!!!

I think this is the only restaurant who put graduity for Buffet . They charged around $8.50 graduity what normally others doesnt do especially indian restaurants . The food was not at all good and one of the worst place i have ever been to . The restaurant staff was not all friendly . If you live around cincinatti area , i suggest not to go there . Please dont waste your money and time

WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN... WOULD RATHER DRIVE MORE MILES TO GO TO THE ONES IN SHARONVILLE

Now we dont have to go very far for Indian food. Newly opened Raja India Restaurant in Mason has traditional north Indian dishes, including our favorite - Tandoori Chicken! We went for dinner last night and were very satisfied with the service and food. Prices are resonable and in line with other Indian restaurants. They also have buffet for lunch, will try it during a week day.

Simply amazing!!! I ordered the lamb curry and it was something else. They have different levels of spice. My sons had their level 1 which had so much flavor with a hint of sweet. I had the level 4 which was 2 away from the hottest. It was perfect spice. Just enough to clear out the sinuses but not enough to make your guts hurt. I will for sure go back :)

I had dinner yesterday. I had ordered samosa and goat curry. Goat curry had a very very little sweet taste, that i do not like. But rest was good, and tasty. I wanted to take out one star as I need to remind for side couple of times. But want to give an alert this time. Improvement areas: Focus on service. Repeat follow up to get things in time.

Only ate here once, but It was pleasurable and healthy food. Didnt seem like they use cream in the Saag, and this made the texture and taste very, "homemade" appearance and taste, which is good. This place is pretty good food with average buffet selection and pakistani influences in the food, which is good, i like spicy!

The Indian food here caters more to the American palate. Its not spicy at all and they use the same gravy base for all their curries. The Biryani is less of a biryani and more of rice mixed in a curry. Whats the difference you ask? Night and Day. As someone who comes from the land of the Biryani, it just doesnt cut it.

This is one of the worst restaurants we have ever been too. There is no varierty of food options and the quality of food is also poor. The worst thing about the hotel is they are charging extra money without informing the customers and the hotel staff are were so rude as well.... Please dont go to this place.....

The best place for Indian food! Ive tried several others in the area and have always been let down one way or another.. I always come back to my favorite, Raja India. Excellent food and excellent service. My favorite is the buffet for lunch and the Lamb Korma for takeout.. cant go wrong.

Went to the restaurant with my family...it looked nice and clean. But when I took my 3 year old to the bathroom, one of the cooks "finished up" and walked out without washing his hands. We left immediately and called the board of health. Needless to say, we will never return.

The same delicious menu as Ambar in Clifton and Baba in Hyde Park, Raja has long been awaited by those of us in Northern Cincinnati whose love for this Indian comfort food has previously required a drive further than around the corner. Thanks for coming to Mason!

The food was awesome and the people were very friendly. It was towards the end of the day and we didnt feel rushed by them at all, even though we felt bad. Restaurant was clean and the overall value was good. Great stop for Indian food in the area.

Food is average. If McDonalds did Indian it would be better. The buffet is almost devoid of flavor. Theyve dumbed it down a bit too far. Owners son is nice enough but fiddles with his cell phone while checking you out. Perception is reality.
