One of my friend told me about this place so I though let me give a try. First impressions: The signboard colors is so week and not legible to find the place since the letters were too dull to shout out the place name. The name place looked so old and used. Next the branding of Indian bar and cuisine gives me a feeling that the old restaurant still exists. Lots of people who and already tried the old restaurant would think the restaurant still exists. Interiors: The same old interiors and the only difference is that the bar area is totally empty and I believe they dont serve any drinks on an aachis restaurant. Food: I had naan and Chettinad chicken. The Chettinad chicken, shills chicken and biryani had great taste and no complaints. But with naan I believe it was little bit dry compared to places I have eaten garlic naan So overall I believe the restaurant owners have still have rooms for improvement and I hope this restaurant stays here for a longer time.

Food was ok. Nothing really special. I had the chefs special tandoori pomphret and my girlfriend had the veg biryani. Its hard to place what this restaurant is trying to market itself as. It feels like its trying to be a south Indian restaurant but the sambar was pretty bad. Plus, when 4 people order food, you dont bring each dish as it gets ready. You time an order so that all 4 dishes are ready at the same time. Even if idli was already made, it shouldnt be sent right out, while the rest of the people wait for 15 minutes. Wont be bad unless no other choice.

Unhealthy food as they are using food color, poor portion size for the price and they dont follow instructions for level of spice. Its like we have to eat what they supply. Food quality and quantity and taste is not consistent. my update to owners response below: first of all there was no phone conversation about this and I am not referring to crab curry either. Looks like someone else also complained about the use of food colors and the owner mixed up the customers.

Let me just start by saying that this is the perfect family friendly restaurant! As soon as I stepped in the restaurant, I felt welcomed. I was also greeted immediately. I came with a family of 5 and not one was left disappointed. I have been living in the area for a while and tried other Indian restaurants, but this one has the best of both worlds! You get great customer service and great food. What could be better than that?

The place looked clean and it had a feel we were in the madurai/karaikudi belt. Tasted tamilnadu dishes after a long time. Ordered kothuparota, idlis and maduraimallidosai. My 14 month lo enjoyed the Madurai mallidosai and idlis a lot. The taste was really good!! If the toddler approves the food then for sure its a hit is what I will say!! Guys in Smyrna please do visit and enjoy the dishes!! We are visiting again for sure!!

This is the worst Indian restaurant ever eat in Smyrna. Bought thalappakatti chicken biriyani and chicken65 for dinner and both tasted very bad. Biriyani was like ice cold and tasted nothing like thalappakatti biriyani and chicken 65 was just coated with tons of flour and its was very bland without any flovour. Expected a good authentic South Indian taste and visited within 2 weeks after opening and a big disappointment.

If you have been craving for some spicy South Indian taste, this is the place you should bet on. Chicken 65 tasted as Street food that I loved, thalappakatti biriyani is spicy, the tamilnadu sambar taste, sumptuous fish curry and lovely desserts made me comeback for the second time in a week. If you eat a lot or would like to try many varieties, you would definitely be satisfied

The worst Indian food I have ever had in my life.Too much spicy.I ordered vegetable biriyani,it was red in colour and extremely spicy,it tasted like chilli paste.I had heart burn the whole night. In the chicken korma there was only two or three pieces of cube sized chicken floating on a bowl full of gravy.Food is overly priced comparing to other restauant near by.

Probably the best South Indian food (Tamil Nadu Style) in Atlanta. Some places only the à la carte would be good compared to the buffet. But here even the buffet has been good consistently. Their best food is the Thalapakatti Briyani(Tamil Nandu Style) which they serve in the weekend. It is available only here and the other one in Alpharetta in whole of Atlanta.

They have amazing briyani especially the thalapakattu briyani . Very authentic Indian food. I have been regretting not having good Indian restaurant in Smyrna . I stopped going anywhere else after this. Crab masala which they have during weekends is out of the world . Every sea food lover should try this place.

Exceptional food. Ate chicken 65, pepper chicken and Malabar paratha. Loved everything. A must try. The service is very good too. Even in India you cannot find very good Malabar parathas in regions outside Kerala. This one was incredible. A must try for India, specifically South Indian, food lovers.

Superb Indian buffet on weekends. Check out the thalappakkettu biriyani. Vegetarians and non vegetarians will both be delighted. Food is spiced high, southern Indian style, but is well balanced. They can give other Indian restaurants a good run for their money

I dont know why they thought egg biryani as providing two boiled eggs in veg biryani. I did not see this kind of egg biryani anywhere in US indian restaurants or anywhere in India

Superb variety, just one suggestion need to add bit more salt and spice to serve as traditional Indian food, rest awesome food and ambience.

They had a huge menu with South and North Indian options. The food we had - dosa and biryani - was very good and tasted fresh and authentic.
