The food is great, I would give 5 stars based on food in a heartbeat. The wait time on to go orders for sushi is horrible though. If you tell me 40 minutes and take 45, thats fine I dont mind that at all. However, if you tell me 20 and take an hour, well then we have a problem. Currently writing this as I sit in the lobby going on 40 minutes (showed up at my pickup time) and I havent been offered so much as a glass of water while I wait. Incredibly rude and unprofessional and not the first time it has happened. In the time Ive been here I have watched the kid upfront take a to go order over the phone and the person pick it up. Amazing food but get your service together.

My 12-year old daughter and I refer to Wild Ginger as "Our place." We stop in often after cleaning our cabin rental in Hocking Hills. Note to visitors going to Hocking Hills for the caves from Columbus - this is a great place to stop at on the way home from hiking. Just take the Lancaster business route instead of the bypass. We love the food. My daughter especially loves the Christmas roll and Sweet and Sour Chicken. I love the red pepper curry tofu. Ive never had a bad meal here and the service is great. Mariah, the manager is terrific. We give this place four thumbs up.

my husband and I went to dinner for our first time at this awesome restaurant recommended by our daughter which she has been 3 times now for dinner. We had a wonderful evening. Our waitress was Ashley and the Manager was Mariah and we had the best service and food!! Beautiful presentation of food, great flavor and portions. I cater on the side and was extremely impressed by such a friendly atmosphere like a family. I highly recommend Wild Ginger for a wonderful time and great food!

Maybe it was the wrong meal choice, but the pad thai I had here was terrible... overpowering chili powder, no real depth of flavors. There were also gnats flying around our table the whole time we were eating our meals. And, even though there were only three other occupied tables and two waitresses, our drinks went unrefilled and we had to track our waitress down for the bill (which, was way too high for what we had to eat). Terribly unimpressed!

Wild Ginger has found a great formula when it comes to providing what modern consumers are looking for - fresh entrees (made in house) with a friendly wait staff and a clean building. With regard to their sushi, you can drive for miles in any direction without finding anything comparable. They offer a wide range of Asian dishes and they seem to pull off each one with a trendy, tasty presentation. Happy to see this addition to Lancaster!

Wild Ginger opened in mid-February, 2016. Since then, my wife and I have eaten there 6 or 7 times. When we bring our friends and family to dine with us, they are as thrilled with everything as we are. Wild Ginger has great food, great service and reasonable prices (akin to Olive garden or Texas Road House). The "roll" and sushi selection is better than any Asian restaurant where weve eaten. We highly recommend Wild Ginger Asian Bistro.

Great entrees, mediocre sushi, service is pretty awful. Even at the slowest of times the servers take WAY too long to get back to your table. Every entree Ive ordered has been fantastic, honors to the kitchen staff, but the whole experience is brought down by inattentive wait staff. Also, our fortune cookies were rubber-stale so no after dinner treat. Overall: has potential but management seems poor/disorganized.

First experience with take out. It is overpriced. The general tsos chicken was good but the lo mein noodles were extremely dry and overcooked. He threw a ton of fortune cookies in the bag and obviously because they are beyond stale. The person that took the order over the phone was polite however I had sticker shock with the price I was also not given a receipt at all I honestly cant say that I will go back

The last time I was here was like the first time I was here. They are pretty consistent. The food is good and it sort of results in an Asian fusion. Many of the dishes are a little different than what you would get in a standard Chinese restaurant and you might be in for a little bit of a surprise however the freshness of the ingredients has always been very good.

This place was amazing! Hands down best Asian restaurant that I have ever experienced. The presentation of the food made everyone at our table pull out their phones to take a picture. The food was excellent and lived up to the appearance! We will definitely be back. Give it a try you wont be disappointed!

I come here quite often and the food is delicious. I only wish I could say the same about the quality of service. Inconsistent would be the most fitting word. Sometimes its great here, other times its slow and the food has been lukewarm once or twice. I would still recommend it though.

This place is a hidden gem! The food was amazing, as was the presentation. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure we had a great experience. The interior is dated, and you might be put off by it initially, but dont let that deter you. You will not be disappointed.

Went on a sun so service was fast but spent $40 on two meals and an app for something that you could get from the Asian place in the mall for $14. Not impressed. Food was bland. Their spicy is about as hot as mild salsa. Tasted like it was all pre made and warmed up in a microwave.

The beef fried rice, egg rolls, and crab rangoon were terrific. The chicken lo mein left something to be desired. The chicken was mushy on the outside but hard inside like chewing fat. A little spendy, but overall good food and service. Ordering online is definitely a plus.

Hot & sour soup. Amazing. Best crab rangoon, tuna tartar delicious. Had the cashew chicken fresh and made to order. Is a keeper. Best Asian food in Lancaster. Hope it stays with this quality and open for business for a long time.

Food and service was great. Sushi was probably the best I have had. The veggie fried rice was delicious and so different from most Asian restaurants with the addition of broccoli, green beans, asparagus, etc. We will be back.

Loved this place. We enjoyed the miso soup and had the tasty Spicy crunchy sushi platter. We also enjoyed the Buckeye triple delight. This is a definite MUST TRY for anyone wanting asian cuisine in Lancaster.

Have not tried take out, ate in. Friendly staff, price seemed fair. Two orders of sushi, an order of fried rice, 3 egg rolls, two sodas and a soymilk for less than $30.00. Not a lot of little kid options.

Food had been good every time weve been here. Once we got some sushi with avacado that wasnt quite ripe but they removed it from the bill and replaced it with something else with no hassle.

Very good. My co-workers and I got take out for lunch today. Order was hot, large quantity, and very good. Best crab ragoon any of us ever had. Seasame chicken was very good also.
