WILL NOT RETURN!!! The food is too expensive for the quality. By the time my husband returned with the meals the Styrofoam containers were melted in the corners, I had banana coins and they are suppose to be crunchy all the way around and they were soggy on one side and super mushy, my crab Rangoon was overcooked and hard to CRUNCH where there was no filling, my curry rolls were overcooked and didnt taste like traditional Thai curry puffs from other places, our chicken sa tay was 6$ for 3 little measly pieces of chicken, and we ordered chicken sweet and sour for 9$ and there was literally 4 very small pieces of chicken in it!! He didnt eat any but put them aside when he found them cause he likes to eat the ckn separate. We went through all the veggies and no joke...4 tiny pieces!! We called to complain and it was horrible customer service!! She even argued with my husband to basically say he wasnt telling the truth...her words exactly."I put my hand in there and grabbed a handful of chicken, about 10-11 pieces and cooked it up". She finally said she would credit us but when my husband asked if they would take his name they hung up on him. High price, bad quality, never return!!!! Zen forest is so much better and the same price!!

We pulled up and realized it was 30 minutes before closing.. dissappointed, I was not sure what to expect.. this was our first visit..so my fiance and I were like well.. lets just check it out. Once we stepped in it was like we werent in Port Richey anymore. My fiance and I were like WOW...i was immediately impressed by the decor and the attention to detail that was put into this restaurant. The feng shui is awesome. A lot of loving energy and gratitude was put into making this restaurant what it is. I saw hand carved gigantic wall murals, human size Thai Buddha statues, real orchid plants all over the place and in the booths they had propped up small silk pillows you can comfortably rest your back up against. We could feel how appreciative they were to us even though it was almost closing time. I picked the sweet and sour chicken and the food was just excellent. If you like green tea, get thier hot green tea and some sugar. It goes good with all the food. Everything about this whole experience was great. We left there in a really good mood. Theyve been there only 4 years. But im sure if you give it a shot and visit youd definately go back again and wanna bring others with you. 5 stars!

When we first went to Orchid Thai, we noticed that they use bottled water from one of the large jugs upside down on the bubbler, and I asked the manager why she would spend the extra money for bottled water when they did not tell people and did not "advertise" that anywhere on the menu (even though it is free.) "I wouldnt want my family to drink from the faucet," she said "so I wont let my guests drink from there either. I dont serve anything I wouldnt serve to my children." This philosophy is evident in the taste and quality of the food, the friendly service, and the cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms. It is not the cheapest option in the area, but I would rather pay $3-$5 more on a final bill and know I am not going to get sick later from the food. The only negative I would say is that the pho has recently been a little sub-par. However, the sushi, traditional Thai dishes, and desserts are awesome, and theyre always very eager to make you feel welcome, happy, and satisfied.

My father and I were visiting town and did not know where to go. Based on the reviews we decided to give this a try. Upon pulling up to the front of the plaza, we wondered whether it would be good; once inside we found it certainly was. Each table had a fresh cut rose and fine place settings; the menu covers were made from silk with embroidered butterflies. It was apparent this was not a typical Asian take-out joint. One of the specials was Duck Tamarind. It was well prepared on a bed of steamed vegetables; very nicely served and very tasty. The other meal we had was the Pran King Shrimp, which was also prepared well; a medium spiciness was good, but not overpowering. While specials were about $13 to $16, there are many other entrees (with meat) for $8 to $10. I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone else looking for a nice meal out in this area. Enjoy!

Not going back. We went for lunch based off the rating of 4.7. Being the first customer for lunch we were told once they took our order that the soup wasnt ready so we would have salad and an spring roll. After waiting about 20 minutes I had to ask for our salads and they didnt bring the spring rolls. I asked for spicy and was told they would bring extra spices to the table for our meal. After getting our lunch main course I had to ask for the spring rolls and was questioned that they had already brought them to us. I had the Basil with chicken and it wasnt spicy and was bland. My wife said her meal was ok. They didnt bring the extra spice either, I had to go ask for it so I could add some heat to my dish. And, while waiting for our main dish we see customers being served soup that comes with the lunch menu. A big disappointment all the way around.

Do you like sticky rice with coconut ice cream covered in a sauce that is sweet and delicious? Who doesnt! How about a tasty bowl of green curry chicken thats big enough to share with a loved one and STILL have some to take home? I would be lying if I said that this wasnt the best restaurant in Port Richey. My husband and I go to Orchids Thai as often as decency permits. We would be there every day if it were feasible. THANK GOD we live so close. When everything else is overwhelming, confusing, and out-of-control, we know that we can go to our oasis of thai cuisine and enjoy an evening of excellent service, wonderful foods, and reasonable prices. We hope you will visit Orchids Thai because they deserve to do well.

We tried Orchid Thai for the first time tonight, based on the high ratings and reviews. It was busy, but there were a few open tables. We sat for 10 mins before a server even greeted us and gave us menus, and then they never came back. We watched servers clean tables when no one had even gotten our drink order yet! After being completely ignored for another 15+ minutes, we finally just decided to leave. Perhaps we would have liked the food, if we could have eaten some! The service was terrible; too bad to overlook. We wont go back.

My fiancee and I were in the mood for some thai food. The one we knew about was far away so I googled thai restaurants and found this on the map. We decided to check it out. We got there after they closed for lunch but they were so accommodating that they sat us and attended to us while they were in the middle of their own break. The food was awesome and they were very generous. The salad was so good and the service was soo nice. They were very respectful and decent. We will definitely be coming here frequently.
