Very interesting story to tell... Wanted to try this place out as my coworker bought the other day and looked half way decent! So I called on Sunday afternoon (mind you, hours online says open from 1030am-12am). I called at 1230 and no answer.... called a few minutes later, no answer.... thought maybe they were busy or something so called a couple more times... Some very rude woman answered the phone and told me "can you call back in like an hour or two?".. So I continued to tell her about her online hours and she says "Well, its kind of whenever we decide to come in and start cooking and prepping".... so youre telling me you run a business where you do stuff "when you feel like it", nice. So I told her she should have answered the first time instead of making me wait. Well, i tried to tell her but she hung up while I was in the middle of my explanation. Very poorly run and wont buy from there now.

To the person below, the times/prices online are entirely wrong. On Sundays, they are open at 3pm-around 10pm. I have to say, I was that "rude lady" you spoke to. The first time you called, we didnt arrive at the restaurant yet, so that was why we were unable to take your call. However, the second time you called a few minutes later or so, we just arrived. The owners work every day of the week for about 10-12 hours per day. Why should it matter if they want to relax on a Sunday morning? Also, I did not hang up, I heard no one on the other line so I assumed you were the one who hung up. Im sorry if I am sounding rude right now for replying to you in such a horrid manner. All and all, I just needed to let you know the reasoning behind everything. Please do not get upset and give a bad review because of this simple misunderstanding from both parties.

We ordered out. We were kind of nervous as we had a HORRIBLE experience with another restaraunt (across the street) not long before we visited this place. When we walked in it was a nice little venue that was quaint and comfy. The lady that greeted me, both on the phone, when we walked in was very friendly. The food prices were FANTASTIC especially for the amount of food we received.. holy cow!!.. There is no going hungry from there.. When we got home and sat down to enjoy our dinner we were super happy with the quality.. It was hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. I would recomment this place to again and we will definitely be visiting again soon

Had them a couple weeks ago for the first time. We ordered two large carry outs of chicken fried rice that I took as a side dish to a party and it was a hit! We tried the almond chicken and general tsos last week and that was delicious too! Cant wait to try more. Only 2 little complaints... their weird hours. They dont open till noon. It is lunch time but lunch starts at 10:30 11:00 for alot of people who work. I could be wrong, take out menu states 12:00. But they are open late including Sundays so thats cool. I noticed you cant eat in the restaurant even though theres seats.

Let me be honest. I dont care about decor and all that deal. As long as they make good food. Ive tried a ton of metro detroit chinese food places. My test to each new chinese restaurant is the sesame Chicken. I must say I didnt like it. It was more like Honey chicken with sesame seeds on it. It was way too sweet. I asked for chicken fried rice and it wasnt chicken, it was soy and it wasnt much in the rice. I gave it a 3 star because the portion size was great and the egg roll was good. I might give it another try with a non sweet dish. But dont hold your breath

The vegetables were fantastic so fresh, the shrimp was also the best Ive had from a Asian restaurant, it was very tasty and had the perfect amount of spices. Im happy I found this place its well priced and serves plenty of food. Also the crab Rangoon was the best Ive had, it even looks gourmet! Only 3$ for 6, you cant beat that. I will tip them way more next time, theres allot of experience in that kitchen. Its a very cozy quiet place perfect for a relaxing meal, though the food is better than the atmosphere I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I used to go here a lot with my parents as a kid, then moved away. On a recent visit back to the area I stopped in for lunch (30 years later!). The place hadnt changed much since the early 80s, including still having EXCELLENT FOOD! The lunch portions were large and very inexpensive and the service was great. Makes me miss the old neighborhood a lot!

This was my first time going and I was looking for some Chinese food and I found this place. The food is very good as well as the service. The inside might not have been as up to date like many of the other restaurants but it was clean and has a nice family atmosphere.

The sesame chicken was stell and tasted like it was sitting out all night, the fortune cookies were stell. I dont understand whats going on, the last time I went there everything tasted so good. Today was most definitely one of their bad days.

Ordered the almond chicken and general tsos. Almond chicken gravy was thick and tasteless. General tsos was better, but much too sweet. The fried rice was good, and the portions were really large for the price.

Walked in to an empty shop. Stood there for a few minutes until someone walked out and kicked us out saying they were closed at 230p on a Wednesday. Didnt lock there doors or anything, open sign was flipped.

some of the menu items are very good: the lemon chicken, and the pineapple chicken.. those are great. everything else looks and tastes like meat and extra broccoli in brown sauce.
