We have never been here before. We see they are constantly busy so we decided to blow off our normal Mexican spot to try this place. I was ignored for 2 minutes then asked "how many?" and I politely asked to be seated on the patio for 4. I was given the answer "No". I said "No?" She said "it will be 10-20 minutes" (once finally seated there were empty tables on the patio and even a table with all the chairs on the table. That wasnt great to look at. Not sure why there was a wait) I replied "thats okay" and we went to the bar and ordered margaritas. Once we were seated, no one came to our table.....ever. A table of 6 was seated after us and was promptly served chips, salsa and waters. We still sat with nothing. Then a table of 2 was seated with the same service. We sat there for almost 10 minutes, with no chips, salsa or waters. We finished our margaritas and walked out and went to our regular Mexican spot we should have gone to in the first place. Never coming here again.

One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants around Cleveland area. Me and my wife have been a very frequent visitor for past 5 years. Havent found a single reason yet to complain about this amaizing mexican restaurant. So many options to order from and even options for vegetarians✔. Margarita here is my favorite Food is very authentic✔ Serving times are very quick so dont rush to place your order unless the place is packed. Food aways served hot and fresh made, every staff member we have encountered in past five years have been very courteous and friendly including the manager✔. My wife really likes the authenticity of tortilla chips and salsa served , if you crave for something spicy they have Habanero salsa to satisfy that too. Serving portion is very generous✔ , prices are very affordable.✔ Atmosphere is very good.✔ Free wireless internet ✔

THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Which says a lot, we travel a lot, we eat out a lot. We were there one time, we have food allergies.. they were not only knowledgeable but so damn kind.. we ordered what we ordered in again to go, to eat at home after. We went back a second time just now, they remembered us.. they were warm and we felt welcomed. We were amazed.. treated like family. The food is out of the world.. I am addicted to it. My husband complemented the pen we signed with andn they even offered it to us!! If we hit the lottery this is a place we will gladly donate a few million too. Thank you.. when we eat out.. we will come here.

Cozumel is an awesome lunch spot for the Independence/Valley View area. They have some seriously good Mexican food, and their service is fast. I only knocked off a star because the parking absolutely sucks. Theres a (failing) hotel behind the restaurant that wont let Cozumel customers use their (always empty) extended parking lot, which we used to be able to utilize. Its not really Cozumels fault, but you should know about it before making plans to eat here! If you cant find a spot, park in the extended lot for the bowling alley right next door.

Ive eaten here a couple of times and its always hit the spot for standard, Mexcian food, with the exception of the last time I was there. First, service was slow (and Im not usually picky about this). Second, I ordered the fish tacos. Frankly, if I were to serve fish tacos that they served to me, I simply wouldnt have put them on the menu. They were wimpy, meatless tortillas filled to the brim with lettuce, oh, and a little fish meat. Stay away from the fish tacos - which you were probably going to do anyway :) - and you should be alright.

Order the seafood chimichangas, and it had imitation crab meat it was not good the crab tasted like it was old so I went back and requested to have my money back because Ive never eaten there before and the lady at the front desk basically gave me no option of getting my money back all she wanted me to do was order another meal so reluctantly I ordered another meal got home and I would never go to this restaurant again,I would not call this something authentic for me for others it may be a good choice what is a waste of $12.95

The place was nice and clean, but the food really left something to be desired. I ordered the Carne Asada plate and it came out very dry, charred, and unflavorful. The beans were the only decent thing on the plate. The staff was a bit rude as well as others have commented. They all congregated near our table the entire meal and were being noisy, eating food, and ignoring the tables. The bus boys were waiting on us more than our waiter, and I really should have only tipped him.

Fantastic! Food is excellent & service is by far the best. Weve been coming here ever since it opened about 10 yrs ago. Authentic Mexican food & you wont leave hungry. Great patio & outdoor bar when weather is nice. Youre going to want to come back real soon. This is definitely our favorite restaurant.

Was staying at the hotel behind it and was getting sick of hotel food, so we decided to try out this restaurant and loved the food there. Went the next day for more fajitas, was waiting for the food and saw all the awards it had on the wall. They definitely deserve all the rewards they got so far :)

been coming here since 2005 and never had a problem. love the food, the service, and atmosphere. I have eaten at other mexican restaurants but nothing compares. I eat here at least twice a month love the enchiladas, fajitas, and burrito de la roqueta. margaritas are good as is jimador margarita

This may be the only time that Ill ever be in this neck of the woods, but if I make it around again, I would definitely come back. The chicken tacquitos were excellent at $8.50. The house margarita was good and, as it should be, no charge for the chips and salsa.

Staff didnt seem too interested in anything and food was nothing to Rave about. I didnt even finish my plate and not because it was a generous serving size. Drinks werent filled once while I was trying to enjoy my dry meal.

Cozy, fun atmosphere at a reasonable price! Food is good, margaritas are awesome! They have wonderful staff too! They have "Belly" awards that provide perks like half off 2nd margarita too! Often have coupons in flyer too!

Delicious food. Reasonably priced. Quick service. And you get fresh tortilla chips and salsa free, while you wait for your entre. Also they serve huge margarita slushies during happy hour for only $3.50 a glass.

The food here is consistently good and reasonably priced. I feel like the margaritas can be hit or miss in terms of the alcohol content - Ive had some great ones, and some that seemed to be almost alcohol free.

Tried it out after it was recommended by some friends. Thought the service was great, but the food seemed to fall a little short of the hype from others. Might give it another try in the future.
