Saturday night.. I get a recommendation from my wife about this place.. As we approach.. 1..car outside. As we come In, no one at the door, bartender looks at us and gets someone.. Drinks were on point.. margaritas on point... But the tacos... enchiladas and tamales.. Bland.. Tasteless.. The taco meat was just... Flavorless.. The enchiladas were okay.. Smothered in what looked like mozzarella cheese.. The tamales.. Had dry and moist spots despite being buried in sauce.. My wife stated that the food is not upto what it was 5 years ago.. Staff was friendly if not mildly eager to clear the table. The owner or manager (not sure who he was) sent his kid to the table to check on us..with him watching from a distance.. Nice kid.. We had alcohol request which thankfully was handed off over to an adult. Unfortunately my stomach is not handling the situation well and will not be returning

I love El Ranchito, it is probably my all time favorite place in Leesburg. If you have not before, try the fajitas, or brochettas, and for a real taste treat the fajitas texanas. The rellanos ARE home made, with ground meat and beans inside! Everything is made on site. The fact that there are sometimes slight variations in the tastes and looks of the food point to that fact! No two chefs will make it exacltly the same! :) However, no matter the chef, I always enjoy it. If you dont like something youve ordered in the past, try something else on the menu, this family run place is worth giving a second chance. You can always ask for hotsauce, or green sauce or anything you like to spice up the food if the milder dishes arent for you. Super nice staff want to make you happy, also very family friendly!

Iv been going here for a couple years atleast twice a month. Pros: warm food, cheap, authentic, free chips and salsa, dont charge Much for extra sour cream Cons: parking lot is bad (pot holes, rough, the outside of the reasturant needs maintenance, sometimes smells like lemon pinesol inside, bathroom smells terrible all the time and is dirty. No privacy because stall doors have been replaced with saloon doors, can be slow, food could have more taste Its a overall good experiance but I find my self coming back only because Iv been going here for so long, if it werent for that I probably would only be dining here every now an then If I was in the area. Honestly there are better Mexican places around but El ranchero is worth a try!

The WOW factor stops at the door. The decor is bright and a little tacky but it seems like a fun place..Typical Mexican background music. It seems like they are in the middle a remodel but I was told it was a while ago. It looks like they just put thier construction supplies in different corners and left them there. They have a Happy Hour but you wouldnt know it. NO signage anywhere inside or out. Food was fresh and plentiful, but a bit bland. It seems like the Mgt. spent all this money on their remodel and couldnt care less if you come in. Its a pity they could really make this place pop.Service was ok, nothing extra special though. worth a visit if your close and want some Mexican.

Quite possibly the worst Mexican food weve ever had. We should have known when there was only 4 cars in the parking lot on a Saturday night at rush hour but we took the word of other reviewers and give it a shot. My food was lukewarm at best and you could tell things had been sitting on the plate for a very very long time. Ground beef had no flavor and the cheese was about as fancy as you could get. Only bright spot was that we didnt have to wait long to get our food;likely because it had been sitting back there for 6 hours. Save the money and just go to Taco Bell. Food would be better.

Im really disappointed on the reviews on Google. My fiance and I have been eating here for over 3 years now together. 9 times out of 10 we have perfect service. We know what we like and dont like. Weve watched this place upgrade, like new menu sitting TVs and drink menus. All restaurants have their slow peak but food is still enjoyable when youre starving here. Some times the experience is bad cause the customer is too picky or forgets to ask questions. Give them a second chance to fix it or come back and try something new!

Ordered Chile Rellenos and got some hamburger covered in cheese. Did not have the time to reorder so I ate about a third of it. Then paid for it with my debit card. The next day I noticed 4 fraudulent attempts were made on my card to transfer cash. The only time this card has been out of my possession was at this restaurant. Not a good experience and a huge inconvenience for me since this card is used for my business.

Have been to El Ranchitos over 50 times. I eat lunch and dinner there often. I have lived in Leesburg for about 10 years. Great food, very fast good service, and the prices cant be beat. The Plato Favorito is one of the best deals for lunch. It is the "K" for dinner. Enjoy!!!! Oh yeah, great salsa and chips too, very addictive!

I have been here on several occasions and at different times of the day, and on the contrary to some of the poor reviews, the food here is awesome. The Brucheta is the best!!! If your looking for authentic Mexican this is it. It is all homemade, not "pre-packaged"! Try it, you wont be dissappointed!

The food is great and the service is very good. I love their enchiladas and beans and rice. There is a good selection of entrees and all come with free chips an salsa. Prices are good for the portions served.

Very disappointed. Not even a spice in the food. Sisters Chili Relleno had SWEET Tomato sauce on it! Not even a Red Sauce. Spanish rice was sweet rice pilaf! My Taco salad had very very little lettuce.

Some of the best food in Leesburg at affordable prices. I have 4 kids and this is one of the few places I can still go to without breaking the bank. Great service and delicious food!
