So much potential, but very poorly executed. I ate here several times a month their first year, the food was awesome. There would always be a problem with the naan though, they would bring it like 10 minutes after we began eating. Kind of strange. Then they opened the location at the mall and things really went down hill from there. It seemed they were spreading themselves too thin and the owners just lost sight of putting out a quality product. If they had closed the Belgrade location and just focused on the spot at the mall, it would have crushed. I wish them all the best, but I was burned one too many times by bad food and terrible service to justify making the trip out to Belgrade.

Fantastic food. In fact, its the best authentic Indian food Ive ever had in a restaurant -- in and out of state (FYI: My mom is Indian, so I know what Im talking about). The naan can take longer to come out because they make it fresh on the tandoor, but its sooo worth it. This place isnt your typical Indian restaurant with highly overpriced items that slightly resemble the real thing. No, this is a local restaurant ran by a husband-wife team that makes the food "home-style" with generous portions. Theyve come a long way since they first opened and Curry Express has now become one of the Valleys best kept secrets.

Tried Curry Express for the first time today, for their lunch buffet. At 12:30 pm, the selections were cold to warm (not hot) and very limited (4-5). No jasmine (white) rice or naan. As for taste, hard to distinguish among the choices...one may have been an attempt at chicken masala. Very dimly lit, and the floors and tables dirty and sticky...the worse! The naan did arrive later and it seemed underbaked. I can say that this was the poorest Indian cuisine experience Ive ever had.

Curry Express is fantastic. Do yourself a favor, dont just stop short at the lunch counter options, dive on into the full menu. All their dishes are so robust, Chicken malabaar is a favorite. And to the weirdo complaining in another review that the naan came out 10 minutes after the food, what the heck? You couldnt figure out that is because they make it to order!? I prefer it that way, thanks, freshness is definitely worth the wait.

They knocked the Tikka masala and butter chicken out of the park tonight. The food is generally amazing. The only flaw Ive run into is that sometimes they arent open when they should be. But, they are a husband and wife team, with kids, in a valley where its not easy to keep staff. Belgrade needs good food places like this.

The chicken tikka masala really tasted just like fish curry. The food did not appear to be fresh and had no quality at all. The environment was not clean and the staff did not seem to be too friendly. I think that the other customers gave them good reviews considering that this may be the only Indian restaurant in this area.

The food and staff here are amazing! There is a huge selection of options for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. The meat is extremely tender and each dish can be made as spicy as you would like! The staff is so wonderful and kind, they really go above and beyond to make sure you had an amazing dining experience.

Very strange place! Was not greeted by anyone and sat down with large party of 6 people ready to spend some money on dinner. Waited for 15 minutes and nobody greeted us. Went up to counter to find out what was going on and nobody was helpful. Would not recommend!

While not the best Indian food in the area they do a pretty good job. I once had a bad experience here, and the owners went above and beyond to make it right. That being said I will continue to return. Good food at fair prices.

Just sat here for 30 minutes for two entrees and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Finally the girl comes out and said"oh I thought you guys left" and hands us the now cold food.. wont be back for sure

The food is always good. The spiciness is customizable. The different Naan flavors are great. If you want local Indian cuisine, they are the only option. Fortunately they are an excellent one.
