What the hell happened, Cancun? Went to the Hamilton Ave location, and things have taken a turn for the worse since the last time Ive been there. The margaritas and the chips and salsa were awesome as usual, but thats where it ended. The food portions have been significantly reduced, to the point where when I ordered my usual (fajita burrito), I literally had to hunt for the refried beans, which were completely covered under their white queso sauce, and much less than my family has been accustomed to. Literally only a few tablespoons full, where previously there were heaping portions. The same went for the rice served with the platter. I could understand this being reduced somewhat, but to almost 1/3 of previous portions? Come on, theres reducing due to food cost, and theres just plain being miserly. And then theres the service....went from friendly and welcoming to just plain indifferent. Being it was s Friday evening I went there, I can understand your servers being a little stressed, but theres no reason in my opinion why theres been such a drastic change. I dont think Ill be coming back again.

I have loved this place for years! But has anyone left there feeling weird and cant remember anything afterwards? Please let me know? I know how I have one margarita and I cant remember anything else after eating. I dont even remember leaving. There is no way that I was intoxicated and blacked out over one drink there. If anyone has ever felt this way please get back to me please??? Im thinking something happened but I cant prove it. I just want other young girls and woman who are pretty to be ok and know about my situation. ..

Disclaimer: I would get in a time machine and visit Chi Chis if I could so my assessment of Mexican restaurants is a bit distorted. Anyway, as far as this place is concerned, they have pretty good salsa and fresh chips. Nothing fancy but no unpleasant surprises. I had the beef chimichanga. They use ground beef not shredded which is my preference and the cheese sauce topping was very good. Cant say anything stood out in a big way but I enjoyed the meal and the service was good. I would go back.

Went there last night for my 21st birthday and it was awesome. Great margarita. By Boyfriend is completely tolerant to spicy food so they made it a point to give them the hottest they had. Decent service. Great food and drink! But we warned if its your birthday they will put whipped cream on your face and when they go to "wipe it off".. the napkin is filled with more whipped cream..

Compared to Several other authentic Mexican restaurants Ive been to I was excited to try this, but this was by far on the worst list... Price and portion comparison was a joke, food was not really good,not even the drinks, along with many other flaws. After we left there dissatisfied we agreed there would be no going back.

We are never going back to this place again. It was our first and definitely our last. My girlfriend and i waited over an hour to get our food while her daughter was still waiting even though we asked to get her meal out first. We walked out and the manager and employees did not even care with our concerns.

Not sure what the problem was with the 2 complaints. I go there regularly and have never gotten bad food. Always got and plenty. They have good portions. Any more and they would be giving it away. I always bring leftovers home. We are so full cant do dessert. Food was good, hot and plenty.

Still good, but on our most recent visit, our server was unable to keep up with our table Im at timely manner. I dont know if he forgot us, or they were understaffed. But weve had such a good, long history with them that one suboptimal experience wont keep us away.

The food was acceptable...the price is more than the portion!! The food was tasty but could have been better looks like the they put there chimichangas on a oven rack or something....theres a bucket under the mens urinal.....

Extremely poor customer service. Manager wasnt even available when I needed to speak to someone about the order not being right. No one seemed to know what to do. Cant recommend this place. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN.

Cancun delivers the same Americanized average burrito with chewy steak covered in cheese sauce, next to refried beans, rice, and a joke of a salad as every other mediocre Mexican joint. A notch up from fast-food.
