We have eaten at the Southside Diner a number of times and enjoyed the food at each visit. Last Wednesday we had the special of the day which was baked chicken with mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy and another side. The serving was huge with almost a half of a chicken that included a large breast portion and a wing. It was delicious with a nice crispy skin and light, tasty gravy. I enjoyed the dressing a great deal which was way above the usual of gooey seasoned bread. This was perfectly seasoned and had real pieces of celery and golden raisins. Reminded my of what my mother used to make. All of this for $10.00 It is always busy and noisy at Southside Diner but the wait staff is very friendly and efficient. Their menu is extensive and breakfast items are always available.

Enjoyed a late lunch on a weekday. Like other diners its awesome to be able to get breakfast whenever you want. Sunny side or "dip eggs" were absolutely perfect and kind of wanted to order more so I could smother every bite of my waffle in yoke. My brothers side of gravy for the french fries was drool worthy. Its in the Southside Marketplace (shopping center) center back left corner. They have outside seating which is nice but the parking lot is not much to view. I enjoyed eating inside because of the televisions and ambience. The staff is SO nice and patient which is great because I can be an indecisive eater.

Not many new businesses are diners and I was glad to find out this one is. Booths make it feel and look like the diners of the past. All I missed is the pie case and I did not see if they got shakes there. Sitting on the counter so, felt more like sitting at a bar. Breakfast all day and night! I ordered that and my friends too. Great portions and the bacon was thick and plenty. Yes I like this place and I would come here quiet often if I was living close by.

If you want great bacon and breakfast, come here. If you want a good-size fresh grilled chicken sandwich, come here. If you want to try something different and tasty such as the spinach pie and greek salad, definitely come here. One of my favorite spots in Baltimore for diner food. LOVE IT!!!!!!

No frills diner. Large portions. High turnover rate. Had breakfast here and I could barely finish it because it was so much food. Very tasty. Nothing special but would come again for a traditional diner breakfast.
